What drives this anime apart from the cliche of a sports anime is the relatability one has with Aoi. Growing up playing football, every child has a dream to reach the pro leagues and loves the game for certain reasons. Blue Lock as a concept is a failure. Since this anime has had a lot of hype, I was interested in watching it to see if the anime world has finally adapted a football anime to the same quality as Haikyuu or Kuroko in the sports genre. I was deeply mistaken.
