A video game adaptation and you don't get whats going on..? No.... Never....

If you are trying to pick this series up and u haven't played through story mode COMPLETELY in BBCT or BBCSEX you will have no chance of understanding everything that is happening in this series.

This animeseems to be made for fans of the game alone, and even there they don't quite hit the mark of epicness the game brings about. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this series to anyone unfamiliar with BlazBlue, as this anime is based on the sequel to the first game.

This series involves manymanymanymanymany time loops and world lines. Many of ...

"The series was first created by Nisio Isin as a series of short stories for Mephisto magazine." -Wiki

It seems quite a few people who watch this series are unawares or only partially aware to the fact that this series was originally a light novel. I'm writing this review thinking of the viewers who do not know quite as much about the series as they could, and may want to learn a bit more after seeing Bakemonogatari.

Mixed Feelings
-Heads up- this review isn't nearly as positive as the featured ones. But it's some perspective for those who haven't quite decided to spend their time on Mawaru.

So after reading all the positive reviews for Mawaru Penguindrum I decided to just crunch through the first 8 episodes and get into it (thinking it would explode with entertainment once I got far enough in). It never did, not even during the last two episodes. There was never a point where I was utterly entertained, nor was there a point when I was utterly bored. It's a limbo anime for me..

Now I understand that some people love ...

Ok, so I'm going to keep this a brief and shallow review.

This anime's plot was very interesting and fairly well executed. It has bits of romance/drama/school-life mixed in with an intriguing supernatural storyline. I really thought I had hit a diamond-in-the-rough under appreciated anime.

But, if you're like me, when episode 11 hits you start to feel like they just quit. The last 2 episodes were not very cohesive with the first 10, and for me it was blatantly distracting so that I couldn't take them seriously.

This anime is worth a watch, and it's pretty original in its own ways (seriously, it was pretty unique). However, ...

'Noein' was an anime that took me some time to sit down and watch. If you've watched the first episode then you know how obscure the contents of this anime may seem hehe.

Let me start with this, this is a good anime that I think the vast majority will want to finish once they've sat through the first 4 or 5 episodes. I promise. It has FANTASTIC character depth and some really interesting concepts loosely based on actual science (theories on quantum mechanics that is). The characters in this anime tend to be sensible as well (always a plus). The action isn't bad either, but ...
