I've been watching anime for roughly 10 years and HxH is my all time favorite! I'd say my anime taste is a bit scattered and I like most genres (it's easy to tell if you look at my anime list).
I love Studio Ghibli a normal amount (a lie) and my favourite movie by them has to be either whisper of the heart or the wind rises. Kiki's delivery service is pretty dear to me though!

Unlike with anime, I think my manga preferences are quite easy to pinpoint - I enjoy romance the most, be it shoujo or Josei. I'm not usually a big fan of shounen romance series.
I consider Basara my favourite manga of all time!
