Well when it comes to songs for exercise, it's about the hype factor and the power of the instrumentals. The anime I was going to mention was Symphogear, and I've been listening to it nonstop ever since I finished the three seasons. What I like about the music is that the songs remind me of the scenes that they were being played over. So Song > Scene > Hype > Fuel for exercise (well that's me).

Anyway, the songs that I like to listen to in particular are:

Makyuu Ichival (Chris's song in season 1) - If you don't like the Japanese lyrics, the instrumental is good enough. Preferably for cardio.

Waikyou Shenshoujing (Miku's song in G) - I'm quite the techno fan, and the strong beats of the instrumental make it good for lifting.

Beyond the Blade Ignited (Tsubasa's remixed theme in GX) - All of the ignite versions have that heavy dubstep and metal feel. Beyond the Blade is probably my favorite among them.

Overkill Scythe Hell (Kirika's theme in GX) - There are three versions of this song, but this one is best for cardio IMO. It reminds of the scene where Kirika is running as she sings.

The songs that really hype me up are the ones that sound heroic and epic and are the songs I listen to the most:

Ressou Gungnir (Maria's theme in G) - It has a slow buildup, but what I like about it is its steady rhythm. The vocals sound very inspiring too.

Genki Toppa G-Beat (Hibiki's theme in GX) - What I like about Hibiki's voice is that it sounds so raw. You might find her voice annoying, but it just screams POWER to me. Both the regular and Ignite versions work too.

Ginude/Ginwan Airgetlam (Maria's theme in GX) - My #3 favorite song in the series. The instruments sound very heroic and ambient, and the vocals are very powerful. It makes me want to try harder.

Glorious Break (GX Insert song) - Identical to Ressou Gungnir, but the vocals are extremely powerful, and the instrumentals sound like a hero's victory song.

Radiant Force (The first song in GX) - If you saw the first episode of GX, you'll know why this song is so hype. This is my #2 favorite song in the series and I just have to run whenever I hear it.

Senkin Darudabla (Carol's theme in GX) - My #1 Favorite song in the series simply because of how overwhelmingly powerful the instrumental is. The gothic feel of the background voices, the power of the drums, and the riff of the guitar out-classes just about every song I've heard in anime. And if that wasn't enough, the ominous vocal makes the song sound like a final boss theme. This is especially awesome when you can hear the singer's "anger" during the chorus. If you're about to challenge yourself, make this one of the last songs on your playlist so that you can get that vigor boost when you need it.

Gonna post here since I'm going to assume that that thread is going to get locked or buried... exactly can I recommend you any songs...if you've seen every anime out there?
