Oh yes, Elfen Lied sure was awesome. But I wasn't as bothered there like I was in Higurashi, I mean a beheading and dismembering here and there, no big deal but in Higurashi the bat scene was just like O.o. I guess it was more the atmosphere that freaked me out and the fact that it was a complete human being doing it. I like the different scenarios too :)
Yeah I liked it a lot as well! Got the second season currently on my computer that I gotta watch. I found the series to be very good, although quite creepy at times but that's to be expected eh? I remember how freaked out I was by the 1st scene xD But I definitely like it :)
