Hi there! it's nice to meet you :D I've recently made a new club and I'm looking for new members to join. The club is called "Midnight Snack" and is all about making friends and discussing things. A bunch of activities will be made in the near future when we get more members.

It would be greatly appreciated if you join, and we are always up for making new friends :D
Throw me a comment if you have any questions or want an invite :3

You're Welcome :D That's fantastic to know. That's a series which requires some time....once you give it that, it's totally worth all the effort.

The Thunder didn't even need the Heat to knock them out. So now, it's a rematch of the NBA finals from last year. Who do you have winning and in what game? Spurs took care of business for game 1. It sort of sucks that LeBron had to leave the game due to cramps, but it's bugging me that so many Heat fans are using the AC as an excuse. Both teams had to play in the same conditions and I think I heard that both teams had the option of delaying the game if they really wanted to.

Yes, I do read the manga. The intensity is definitely starting to pick up now. It wouldn't be a bad idea at all if you did want to catch up.

That class has been like crap honestly so far. xD It turns out that right now, I'm severely behind since the curriculum I learned in its prerequisite ended up being different from its counterpart at the college I'm taking it at for this summer semester. Hence, I need to catch up myself before I can even do some of the assignments.

At least you have multiple takes with the SAT. Was that your first take? Regardless, I wish you the best of luck with those future SATs. They really were a pain...

Yeah, Hibbert has [supposedly] gotten it together now. I'm still pulling for Washington to somehow come back and win. :D Miami is already in and it does look pretty set that Indiana will join them again.
I'm not too surprised either, but I still wanted Portland to put up more of a fight. :(
The Clippers/Thunder is really looking like a dog-fight now. I didn't see the end of game 5, but it seems there was a lot of controversy with the refs at the end of the game. What do you think of that?

Oh, you don't like the Great Magic Games? I do admit that some of the fights ended up becoming more linear and boring (nakama power-up much?). I do like the overall concept for the arc though. The execution definitely could've been done A LOT better. I really do miss those old OSTs though... :/ It really doesn't feel quite the same.

Haha, that sounds exactly what my summer has been like so far. XD My only summer class does start next week for me though. :/ It's just one class though, so it shouldn't be too bad. xD

Oh yeah, SATs and ACTs do feel like they take foooooooooorever when you're actually taking them. I'm so glad those are well behind me now. They really were a pain in the ass. Regardless, I hope you did well! :D

Haha, Pacers have really looked pretty terrible of late; Roy Hibbert: 0 points and 0 rebounds for game 5! @_@ That's pretty bad for Indiana. Clippers definitely are looking quite frightening right now.
The West play-off series have been INSANE for this first round.
Three OTs for both OKC/MEM and POR/HOU! Those two have been simply incredible and intense!
GSW/LAC has been quite interesting as well.
DAL/SAS has been really surprising too! Did you see the Vince Carter buzzer-beater? It's like a Kuroko no Basket moment in real life! XD

I actually prefer the older version of Fairy Tail more. The newer art looks sloppier at times and overall more lazy. Also, I really did not like how they executed Gray vs Rufus. I loved that moment in the manga; the anime made it seem anti-climatic for me... :/

Yessss, I have just one more final on Wednesday, and then I'm done! :D

Oh, I've seen the first two episodes of Gokukoku no Brynhildr and the first episode of No Game, No Life. I like both of those so far. I'll catch back up once I finish with my last final. xD

Heat-Spurs is very possible. It will be tough, but OKC could beat the Spurs. After all, the Thunder have swept the season series 4-0 against the Spurs this season. I know the play-offs are different, but OKC definitely could pull it off like they did two years ago. I would look out for the Clippers too; With JJ Reddick and Jamal Crawford back along with a healthy BG and CP3, Doc Rivers could really make these Clips a scary match-up in a 7 game series.

I think it makes sense that you have to love the sport. The chosen one is just a shounen thing that can be annoying at times. Regardless, it didn't both me at all.

For the spring season, I'm liking the new season of Fairy Tail, Baby Steps (a tennis anime), Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii, and the new season of Cardfight Vanguard. I haven't seen a whole ton yet since college finals are right around the corner for me. :/
What about you?

It's fine; I've had quite a fair share of delayed responses too. But yeah, flopping likely won't ever disappear since there will always be people that will try it. But the NBA still needs to be more responsible about cracking down on it when they say they will. As of now, their "flopping violation" looks like a freaken joke to me.

Haha, I don't know very much about football. xD I mainly just watch basketball and tennis. I really do want to see the Thunder go far this year; as you said, Durant and Westbrook have to be the most explosive and fun duo to watch right now.

I thought the finale was incredible! I loved the whole season in general. The meteor jam was magnificent and Kuroko's block at the end was an awesome way to cap off the season. What'd you think of it?

Indeed, that outside stroke of his is getting quite consistent. His FT form still looks funky, but he's making them much more often now, so good on him there. And I honestly still refuse to accept flopping as a part of the game, especially since the NBA is trying to stop that now (though their enforcement of the rule has been freaken SHT; stars like LeBron and Harden get away with it still without getting fined). The NBA just needs to crack down on it harder than they are now.

Eh, yeah, what Fisher did to Mavs really was pretty low (and I don't even like the Mavs). Well, I could really care less now since he's hardly an impact player anymore (and if he is for a game, he isn't consistently).

Hey, what can I say? xD I love the Jazz and Hayward is my guy on the team, though I just love watching all the young guys on the Jazz in general (Hayward, Favors, Kanter, Burks, and Burke). I am hoping so much that the Jazz draft Wiggins or Parker this year.
And nothing wrong with that; Westbrook is also very fun to watch. And overall, he and Durant are both important to OKC's success.

Thanks man :)

Haha, I see, the glory of anime huh :P

I really hope so too, I wanna watch the first season really bad so that I can start watching the second season!

Well if you like shounen anime and magical stuff then give it a try, its really good imo, specially the 2nd season :)

Yeah, noragami's getting better and better and nearing its end. x-x I really hope there's season 2!
XPwnDEnd Mar 10, 2014 9:24 PM
Ah yes, you should really check out those; they're really funny. xD

The Clippers...I'll be honest here: I sort of think they flop a lot and get away with it. Though this year, they've been a lot better, so I've just sort of been neutral about them for the most part. Last year, Bullips had what I would call a "game-winning flop" against the Jazz, which gave the Clippers 3 underserved FTs. But whatever, that's in the past and a stupid reason to dislike a team, especially since Bullips isn't on the team anymore.
What's pretty impressive this year is how much Blake Griffin has improved from last year. His post moves and outside shooting have improved a lot!

Eh...yeah, Fisher really irks me at times - perhaps even more than he should, but he just does irritate me for those decisions. I mean, with the Jazz, the incident just sort of happened and I was sort of pissed, but the case with Dallas was really ridiculous since his family wasn't even sick; he just said that his kids needed some looking after (and he proceeds to leave those same kids a month or two later to join OKC).

Hmmm, my favorite player is either Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Derrick Rose (sucks that he continues to have knee problems), or Gordon Hayward (some Jazz homerism right here xD).
shadesofblue_ Mar 5, 2014 6:37 AM
Oh, same. Bakemonogatari is my favorite out of the series too, but I wonder if that'll change once I finish the monogatari series.

I haven't seen kuroko no basket yet. :( ahhhh if only I had more free time

Hm, out of the anime that I'm watching right now, I think the one I enjoy the most is Magi. :) for some reason, I really like that anime xD

how about you? What's your pick? :)

And thanks for your greeting! I appreciate it! ^_^
XPwnDEnd Feb 28, 2014 6:21 PM
For sure, I'm with you all the way; the anime has done a great job at removing some "filler" chapters from the manga and making them OVAs or specials.

Hooray, anyone who doesn't like the Lakers is a friend of mine. XD I used to hate the Spurs a ton since they would ALWAYS beat the Jazz, but now, I respect the Spurs due to how fundamentally sound the team is. I honestly don't like the Clippers that much though.

I don't like Fisher because of how he sold out on the Jazz when he was on the team. He said he had to leave in order to get treatment for his daughter. That was understandable, so I respected his decision. However, he went to play with the Lakers again right after that when the treatment for his daughter was in New York; he did a similar thing just last year with Dallas before joining OKC. So basically, I hate how he uses his family as an excuse to get out of his job so that he can go play on a championship contender team.

Haha, definitely. I'm very optimistic about the future of the Jazz (as long as we don't re-sign our coach this offseason -- he seriously is a TERRIBLE coach). Just curious, who's your favorite player in the NBA?
