Your Monster review nailed it. Can't believe how overrated it is.

Your review of Monster was more succinct and less vitriolic than mine, and you also expressed all of my grievances perfectly. Fantastic review. The only disagreement I have is that I actually liked Eva as a character because she brought conflict to a plot that was moving nowhere (even if she was a terrible person with an awful personality.)

For the life of me I still cannot figure out why that show is ranked like #30 or something ridiculous on this site. With other shows, even shows like Naruto, I can understand the appeal because the point of them isn't to tackle major themes or philosophical ideas. With Monster, that's the whole point--so when the show fails miserably at that it boggles my mind as to how it's not rated lower.
