Season 1 is just so great and I was planning a rewatch of it a couple years back but I've lost all motivation to do it now. I mean what's the point? Same reason why I haven't even watched the last episode of GoT. I was planning a rewatch of all seasons after the last one ended but there's not gonna be any payoff at the end so there's no point.

I was trying to compare the first and second seasoons of anime in terms of animation and pacing. And yeah, you could compare the two mediums but they're totally different ones which shouldn't really be compared much honestly. Unless there's a big difference in quality.

Hm, Onodera's nice yeah. Where did you buy the manga from, I can't seem to find a good box set.

I like it. I think it's one of the better harems out there, though it does drag out its premise regarding the lock wayyy too much. It's cool as a side-thing, but they sometimes they completely forget about it and then sometimes we're reminded "Oh yeah, this lock thing exists".
I found Mari to be a rather annoying character. Imo, Kirisaki's best girl. How about you?

Definitely. They rushed through things in the anime and the animation was a major drop off from season 1. It was basically panels zooming in, out and sideways for the most part S2 onwards.

I guess they'll have to make do with what they have. I'll always hate JC staff for starting the downfall of Shokugeki anime. The manga deteriorated but the fall from Season 1 to season 2 of the anime was also pretty steep.

Hm, I see. Yeah, that's the point of harem anime, you're supposed to feel conflicted when shipping characters together. Gotoubun no Hanayome does this very well, though some people just completely hate the MC and instead ship the sisters with each other, which is much better. Yuri > anything else ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯
Though if I'm being honest, Fuutaro is probably one of the few OK harem MCs, considering that there are so many awful, outright shitty harem MCs out there. Have you seen Nisekoi?

The fifth season is going to be the last season of the anime I've heard. It will cover right up to the last chapter. I'm not sure if it'll be single cour or two cour since I dunnow ho much of the manga is left to be adapted.

He'l end up with Erina, make her say he's the best chef and his food is delicious, and prolly be a the top of the cooking world.

Hmmm, I think Miku is the most deserving, tbh. I'm still not sure, maybe my opinion will change once I read further. But I guess for now, I think Miku should win.

Well first off, I'd improve the plot. The plot just breaks when the Alfheim arc begins, literally nothing makes sense from there on and the plot drags on, characters get annoying, now they're more useless characters therefore more annoying characters, yada yada yada. Yeah, the plot would be a primary fix.
Second, I'd NOT completely flip the characters on their heads and have them bring me excruciating pain every second they spend on-screen. Instead, I'd give the likeable qualities and well-structured character arcs. I'd give them some proper development, some good writing. Idk, the anime just completely missed all of this.
I could go on and on, but I'll end on this final point. The premise is very interesting, or was interesting at the time. It's got decent world-building, and the though the game mechanics aren't explained that well (honestly don't need to be), it really felt like they were stuck in an actual game. SAO has its strengths and its weaknesses (though mostly weaknesses), but all in all, I'd give it a 5/10.

Yeah, Kiseijuu is a masterpiece in my opinion. Objectively, one of the best anime of the decade. The characters are one of its strongest aspects. Many characters are brought up throughout the show, yet they all receive significant development throughout the course of 24 episodes. The pacing was also very good, it felt like a slow walk though the human mind, seeing the beautiful, and the ugly aspects of humanity. It was truly a ride. I don't want to go on and on about it here, so I'll just say that I highly, HIGHLY recommend watching Kiseijuu if you're into objectively good anime.

I have read a good deal of the manga, around 7 volumes in. In my opinion, I think it's either Nino or Miku as of now. A lot of people were upset about the ending, and I haven't read enough to properly make a theory on the ending, so it's really hard to tell.

I wouldn't like to spoil it for you since you still seem to be wondering who he ends up with. You can watch the anime. I have to catch up to the last couple seasons of the anime too, and I will.

Sorry for the late reply. I missed your comment. I stopped reading right before the end because it got boring so no, I don't know but I have a pretty good idea how it's gonna end.

I'd say fantasy/action is my favorite genre. I like most genres as long as the anime is good though.
