That's no problem at all, I didn't answer right away either anyway. It's actually been years since I wrote that review, so I've changed my procedure a bit now; instead of not including it, I just give enjoyment the same score as the overall score (but in fact that still means I don't really take it into account when scoring) - I hope that can clear some confusion, because I certainly don't want people to think I don't enjoy a show that I give a high score. With PP for instance, it is one of my favourite shows, so yeah it's a problem if people think that I don't like it after reading my review, so thanks for the comment :).
I think the most illustrative example is fan service. People will enjoy fan service and that makes their enjoyment rate higher, but fan service doesn't actually make the plot of the show good.

Thanks again for the comment! :)
And you're very welcome <3

Though every part of a review is filled with subjectivity, I think enjoyment is the only category that is purely subjective. To me it is possible to watch something and feel that I overall enjoyed it pretty much, but at the same time realise that the show was really bad. My scores are (at least the more recent) in general not affected by my "enjoyment", though exceptions occur. Of course I watch anime for my enjoyment but like books, works that actually have some sort of message or meaning (if conveyed well), adds something extra to the experience. One reason I watch anime is that shows like these are IMO more common as anime than for instance Netflix series.

No problem my dude. Thanks for chatting

I know right. I was very annoyed just reading the rude responses to the reviewer, and then we got into a little dispute in my comments lol. It's interesting side of events. I wish you could see our convos, but they're hidden on his profile.

It was an early review so I dont think its around anymore. But the guy who was being a cuck is the MLg profile picture in my comments. He turned his comments to friends only after me. The reviewer guy is in my comments who said "he salutes back". You could ask him if he wrote the review down somewhere else

Someone who is hated is that guy you can just read a rude tone in their text. Everyone knows that guy. He says something either passive aggressively, speaks his opinion as if it was above all others. Or an easy one is a guy that goes to a reviewers comment section to tell them how much they did not like the review in a super rude fashion. Of course I have no idea what the true material of the most hated person on a site like this is. But my experience is just people that are needlessly assholes about nothing. And it's just extra ridiculous to me when its insults about anime.

No problem mate.

Hmm, I don't remember! The original Mirai design was maybe a week? Not sure how many actual hours went into it, though. The "remix" I'm currently using was something I tinkered with off and on for around a year before settling on the final look :P

I think someone can have any opinion they want about a show. I draw the line basically when either side gets all personal about an opinion on an anime. It doesn't have to be just calling someone an elitist or whatever. Though to answer your question directly, when someone is acting like they are just woke IQ 300 because they watched LoGH, then i can understand calling them an elitist, but that's only usually because they aren't even giving an opinion on an anime, but instead just being cucks. Long answer short, i draw the line when someone is being a cuck. I wrote that description when i saw a guy write a review on darling in the franxx that was quite fair, and he was insulted and called an elitist lol.

You've heard right. It's nothing like the first season, heck, I would call it an effortless cash grab, lmao. Well, I would skip it, but hey, maybe you'll be able to enjoy it. Who knows?
Aslt Sep 13, 2018 7:49 AM
As long as you enjoy watching anime, everything is daijoubu. And just a heads-up; No, you are not a pleb and don't call yourself one... unless you are memeing, lmao.

My perception of an anime's quality has a significant impact on my enjoyment as consuming art full of heart, effort and thought is one of the most satisfying things one can experience, but it doesn't define it entirely. I enjoy anime the same way you, him, her and everyone else do; as a visual storytelling medium, whose primary goal is entertaining the audience and evoking feelings. What matters the most is how a show made me feel since, at the end of the day, even though I might respect an anime's content, see it as full of value and innovative ideas, if it did not provide me with any form of entertainment, there's no way I can call such a work "good".

This may not be the response you were looking for, though, in all honesty, I don't even know how to answer such an odd question properly.

Yea, but in the harmless and ironic way.. like most its users.

I do tend to try finish series, even when I hate it. Much better for writing reviews when you watch the whole thing.
