Greetings Zhyl0w, I recently gave you an invite to a seasonal club called the Anime Guild.
But I do also like to interact with the people I'm looking to bring into the club.
The club consists of a lot of different seasonal activities from Power Rankings to OP/ED Comps to Seasonal Cards.
We also have an active Discord Server as well as annual events throughout the year ^.^.
*If the invite doesn't go through just message me about it*
When was the first season that you started to watch anime airing?
Hehe, not everything on my 'Watching' list I have actually started watching yet.... I haven't actually started watching anything from this season yet! Youjo Senki is one I'm really looking forward to when I finally get the chance to start everything.
Well, it's not that good, but it's not that bad either. It tries to take itself seriously at the same time as be completely ridiculous. The further in the show you get the more ridiculous it gets. It's also rushed quite and bit, but it follows the same sports anime mechanic. I dunno. If you can appreciate the butts and boobs, it's a pretty entertaining show, but I wouldn't say watch it for either its plot or characters.
Hamilton is a broadway musical about the founding father Alexander Hamilton. If you're at all interested in musicals I highly recommend you give it a listen. I swear I've listed to the entire musical at least 100x over.
I got into RT and AH in July 2013 (I love knowing the exact time I discovered it just because Wolf Spa was the newest Minecraft video they had out XD) It took me a little longer to watch RvB since the first few seasons are a little weird to a person who'd heard that the show had awesome plot and action hehe. I constantly listen to their podcasts though. Watch their videos quite often as well. I drove 3 hours just to get to a city that was playing their movie when it came out.
Everyone I know is obsessed with Stranger Things but I haven't gotten around to actually watching it though. The Walking Dead I stopped watching halfway through season 4 for whatever reason and have been meaning to get back into it, especially with Negan being around now. I recommend you check out Supernatural because it's awesome.
Now the reason for asking this stuff... I just made a club and I'm trying to figure out how to get members XD
Well, now I'm aiming more high school math. Teaching for elementary has a lot, A LOT of regulations and restrictions just because you're around small children.
Subject change! Imma list a few things and you tell me what you think of them, k?
Yeah, that's why I don't want to continue, don't wanna be in mountains of dept.
Been jumping around a few things. Right now I'm declared as a double major in Mathematics Education and Creative Writing. At first I was Elementary Education. I've thought about Aviation, English, TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language). Most of them are more towards a teaching degree, but I'm also interested in writing books.
I don't know why they're making another season of that universe! They've got the Code Geass movies and all, and several more alternate universe from the novels and mangas, they really should just adapt one of those. Also, yeah mecha is not my favorite genre of all time, it's one of my least favorite, but I'm still willing to give any show a try.
Technically still enrolled, but I don't have the money for pay for tuition at the moment. Kinda taking a gap year. I myself love school, or at least being able to go and do something and work towards something everyday, I'm just having a bit of trouble continuing that right now.
Yuri on Ice is an awesome sports anime that just happened to have two male leads that fell in love with each other! The thing isn't even tagged shounen-ai! Yeah, I agree that Yuri on Ice didn't deserve all the awards (even though I voted for it on all those catagories {except Izuku is best boy, fuck you Yuri}) It's just the fact that crunchyroll had its awards while the hype for YOI was still going.
Higurashi I watched years ago back when my weeb self still hated subs. Never got to watch the later season cause they hadn't been dubbed yet haha, I should so rewatch that. Elfen Lied I watched really young too. Back in the whole 'emo middle school' days. Chuunibyou I think I watch last year. My college had an anime club where we watched 6 episodes of 2 different shows each night and Chuunibyou was one of them, so good!
I hate the fact that Code Geass is getting a third season because I was on the side of 'Lelouch died at the end.' And now they ruin it!
You know I don't really know much at all what badges are either hehe. I may have been on this site for forever, but I only just started being active recently.
I like horror, psychological, reverse harems specifically, not just regular harems (I am very much a girl I love my bishies), sports, supernatural, thriller. Those are the ones I'll be more inclined to watch, but I don't particularly hate any genre. Like I said, not very picky about my anime I'll watch anything. Favorites... well you could just look at my profile, but the first ones that come to mind are FMAB and Code Geass. I really liked some magical girl animes too and I was totally on the Yuri on Ice hype from last season.
What about yous? From your profile seems your taste can run from action and horror to moe and cute girls doing cute things types XD
Oh yay I get to explain! Well, a lot of the links and pictures on my profile are to this club called Anime Watching Challenges. In the club at least, it's basically where you use the forum to sign up for a challenge and then you watch an anime for each requirement. This club gives you points for each one you complete and once you get a certain amount of points you get badges and stuff. It's mostly just for fun, but there is an official one. If you go to the links that are listed under 'Anime' at the top the bottom one will be '2017 Challenge' and that's this year's official watching challenge. It's a little different from the club's challenges and the previous year's challenges since they got a bingo concept this year. Challenges are really just a way to help encourage you to watch more and different types of anime and then you get bragging rights once you complete them! There is a manga reading one as well, but it doesn't seem like you read much manga, hehe.
Omg, I am so sick of the hype for One Punch Man. I watched the show, I read like 4 volumes of the manga. Yeah, it's good, but it's not as good as the hype is making it out to be. Blaaah. So dead.
Anyway, I'm not that picky with my anime so there's like 12-13 different shows this season I wanna see. I've just been in a terrible slump recently of not feeling like watching anything DX I haven't even watched the first few episodes of this season's animes yet T_T I need motivation!
So, have you ever done watching challenges before?
