First off. WARNING THIS IS NOT A SHOW FOR KIDS, TEENS, PURITANS, OR PEOPLE WHO GET THEIR FEE FEES HURT EASILY, IT IS FOR MATURE AUDIENCES.
With that out of the way.
- This show is basically EVERYTHING, "Rising of the Shield Hero" was Flaked for and then some.
- The Count of Monte Cristo would blush at this show... and call it scum.
- This Show has Gender Equality, in a way that may hurt peoples feelings... ALOT.
I hate this show to its core, because of how the hero operates HOWEVER, from a story and being justified point of view.
The main hero is basically dead to rights to screw over the kingdom.
Warning before I get into it, this show is a nasty piece of work, but great at the same time. I will basically give you the jist of it all, and you can find most of this stuff already out there.
~ Story~
Our "Protagonist" for all intents and purposes is a Strait White Male, with the power of healing.
His Healing has drawbacks, being that it heals but something else happens too.
Due to these drawbacks affecting the Protagonist, the kingdom, the "Hero's" and most in the party think they can put him through.
- Many Hetero and LGBTQ Relationships, with ALL the Royal Court and hero's, against their will.
- Torture
- Domination
- Getting Drugged
- Getting addicted to those drugs so you'll do anything they ask and take all the punishment above.
- Getting treated like trash when he is not needed.
- Not being allowed basic human rights.
He Gets the opportunity to get revenge, and he takes it... to a extreme level... hence the Redo part of the title of the anime.
And that is my take on the story portion.
~ Enjoyment~
If you are a Sadist, Masochist, or you REALLY REALLY LOVE REVENGE, you'll get a kick out of this.
If you are a part of that the many groups that despise these kinds of shows you'll hate this.
Yah, The Adventure part of it is great, it is a well hashed out story.
When he does his revenge part and it isn't sexual, it is good, though the people he does his revenge on deserve it. Just remember there are fates worse than death.
~ The Characters~
- Main guy: Legit justified in revenge, if Kazuma from Konosuba and Nafumi from Shield Hero, were mixed together, and allowed to do more Adult THINGS, you would have the MC.
- The Royalty: DIE, JUST DESTROY THE COUNTRY.
- Other Cast: Pretty cool.
~ Sound ~
I can hear them, and what not.
~ Art ~
Sticks close to the Manga from what I can tell, and that is a 8 out of 10.
~ Overall Opinion~
The Story makes you feel for the MC, like really feel for him you see and hear his pain, and you will REALLY REALLY want to back him... even if his execution of how he gets his revenge is a bit off. At least he practices Gender Equality.
As in, just because you are a woman, doesn't mean you get a special pass. If women respect him he normally respects them back.
The Music q's are great, and the sound is nothing to scoff at.
I am sticking with Shield Hero over this one. But this one also has its charms.
This is one of those Gems that is in a Razorblade Box from Saw.

So in these 4 Episode I have been watching, I'll be sharing a piece of my mind on what I think of this new 2020 Sakura Wars, in a short but simple form, as I don't have fully enough information to go into full detail yet.
What I found to be good.
- Nostalgia, the Music is great, the opening music is FANTASTIC.
- Voices, reminds me of the original actor (For Sakura and their commander at least)
- The Premise of the story is GREAT, so far.
- The Characters personalities are great.
What I found to be Bad if not worse.
- The
CGI Dolls they dress up like hand drawn animations.
-- I throw up in my mouth a little every time I see them, over dramatized but it feels that way.
-- I try to get into the story, but at times the CGI Characters are just revolting, still Pretty though.
GIVE ME BACK MY HAND DRAWN ANIMATIONS :(
**Cough**
Compared to the past Anime.
- I can't really say, as they say it happens 14 years later, but not sure if that means after the 2000's series.
-- I can only wonder if that means Sakura is 28 - 30 years old here.
And based on that, I can only speculate that it is a Continuation of the original.... OR, it is all new... I still need to look into this.
So far... outside of those few issues, This is a great Series.
I think it is based on the PS4 game too.

Firstly If they had slapped "Gurren Lagann Re: Kamina" I would have bought it.
Now On to the Main Review.
How to Express to someone who has never watched.
Mix Fire Force + Gurren Lagan + Kill La Kill.
Unique Aspects.
- Triggers Art Style and form of... SHEAR BADASSERY. It makes all the difference, it is a flavor you ether love or hate. 1000 out of 10.
- The Characters... If there were numbers to go Higher than 10 I would be using them, though this might be, because I missed Triggers style so much.
What I
liked.
- The music, Marvelous.
- Choreography, very well done.
- The Art, was crisp and clean in my opinion, and very good for trigger.
- The Story, though it needed more work was executed properly.
- The ending... it wrapped things up, I don't think they left much for plot holes.
- The Conflict, all sides have a story, and I LOVED how they expressed that.
- The Twists, and turns and unexpected, I have watched this 3 times, I Still get caught off guard.
- The Personalities of the characters... they didn't all become one cohesive unit mass like the borg. There was Flare and every character felt like they had their own qualities.
- Kamina from GL has returned, or that is how I feel and I hope they use his voice actor for it...
- They taught a bit of history... you'll have to watch to see.
What I disliked.
- The use of the CG, though Good, and very well fit in, I miss when it was hand drawn.
- I wanted to see more... and experience it more.
- The theme and ending kind of confused me... but the ending is a blast.
Overall.
I loved it... If they made a game for this, or a series to long form this movie, I would love to see it.

I found it to be absolutely Marvelous.
Also sorry if my Review isn't like others, I like to be short and to the point.
What I loved.
- This Series rides the line between anime and hentai, more than any other anime.
- Though this series kind of pulls punches, in terms of content, to make it ride the line, it is amazing.
- The art, I love it, I wouldn't wish it on all anime, but it works for this one.
- The Story, it is original, review how "Fun" different species are... in bed. (That should basically be the synopsis of the anime)
- The Cast of characters I loved it, and how their perspectives are on different races.
- The Personalities and Quirks of all the characters.
- This anime has life to it :3
What I disliked.
- if this show was any more 'graphic' with its 'birds and bees', sometimes literal, I might be writing a hentai review.
- The fact I can't watch this with my friends or family around :(
- Oversized... Assets, for the some of the women... I can be a fan of big... but then there is TOO BIG.
- how they portrayed a 50... (or was she 100?) year old human woman in a 'establishments'... (Also should have been covered in the previews and such) Cringe Worthy...
-- Though the elf seems to love her... meh.
Overall.
Though this is still airing, and I may write another review when it is over... and add more.
But so far I LOVE IT, overall, I can't find a way to hate it right now.
