Well I just finished this movie and decided to do a review of it. Note that some of it is my own opinion - take it as you will.

The story takes place in the year 2024 where computers and technology are evrything. It centers around a girl named Sora Yuki, a normal middel school girl who is rather out of the loop from the rest of her friends and classmates. However, this all changes once she starts to play the online game known as "The World". On her fist experience in the game, she gets involved in an incident and thus begins her ... journey.

Story 8: The story is a bit plain with the use of recurring anime themes ; such as love triangles, commentaries/jokes on generation gaps and the famous: one who saves "The World"(sorry, couldnt resist). But I like these types of stories so maybe thats why I'm a little biased. Although its not like I'm going to give it a pure 10, but I feel its fair to give it an average number of 8.

Art 9: To be honost, I expected the normal 2-D animation found in most(if not all) anime, but was surprised to see a 2-D/3-D combination. It absolutely blew my mind. The art also shifts when they go into "The World" where the art mimics that of video game animation scenes. Overall the art is unique and original and thats why I give it a 9.

Sound 10: OMG the sound, I dont even know. If you have ever played or watched .hack, you will probably feel some nostalgia. But the main thing that blew my mind was that the Americans were actually speaking fluent ENGLISH. In most anime's, the foriegners usually speak in Japanese and it is just indicated that they are speaking English, but not here. That is why I give it a 10.

Character 7: Overall the characters are not all that great and fall into common character types seen in anime. There is also little to no character development to anyone aside from the main character; but what can you expect from a movie - they cant make it like 5hours long(a 12 ep season). But they are not entirely bad and that is why I give them a 7. Plus Yuki's grandpa is hilarious.

Enjoyment 9: I personally enjoyed this movie. It tends to be a bit more serious near the end, but the begining allowed for some slice-of-life as well as some comedy. I also enjoyed it because of the many refferences to the original .hack//sign that brought back many fond memories and thats why I give it a 9.

Overall 9: I have to say I really liked this movie. It has action, a little romance, comedy and the refferences are not so heavy that one would get lost if they never saw .hack. That is why I give it a 9 of 10 and recommend seeing it weather your a fan of .hack or not.

Well I decided to write a review for this anime since no one has yet.

Story 9/10:
Right off the bat from the first episode, this anime lives up to its mystery and horror genre. So far it is interesting and mysterious in that the audience is feed extremely small bits of infomation.

Art 9/10:
The art is fairly good and a bit graphic at times; this probably wont be for the faint of heart.

Sound 10/10:
The sound is just amazing in that it really sets the mood for each scene and adds a bit of mystery. The opening by Ali Project is also a very nie touch.

Charcters 8/10:
The characters are still vague at this point but interesting; but that's probably becaue its only the first episode.

Enjoyment 10/10:
I extrmely enjoyed tthis anime from the first episode alone because it gave me chills and an eeire feeling; very reminicent of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.

Overall 9/10:
Overall, I enjoyed this anime a lot and makes me want to see the next episode already. I also feel this anime has a lot of potential.

So if you love mystery, horror and sitting at the edge of your seat, I highly suggest watching this anime - especially if you liked Higurashi.

As the summary says, Amagami SS+ is the second seaso of Amagai SS.

From just the first episode alone, it seems as though we will be getting more character dvelopment between each of the 6 protagonist females and the main protagonist male. However, the story seems like it will take a differant route from the first season's "getting the girl and their future" to a more "events between getting the girl and their future. Since we know the series will be only 12 episodes long, it is indicated by the words "first and second -half" in the title of the first episode and ... preview that each of the 6 female protagnists will likely be 2 episdes each.

Since this is a second season, I feel it would be necessary to watch the first season since it seems like they are futher building on the chracters and teir relationships from the first season.

The first episode was very well done with the typical boyfriend/girl friend interation and ecchi shenanians between them, but there is an added tension thanks to he addition of side charcters.

The story tus far is good in that it is conistant with the first season story line with a few more plot twists now that the main storyline isnt about trying to get te girl. The art is pretty much the same as the first season, but still great. The sound in my opinion is better and the op and ed songs are fitting. The charactes are still as entertaining as ever thus making it fairly enjoyable.

Overall the first espisode really leaves a great impression and makes you want to watch more to see what drama will unfold, thus making it a must see; especially if you were a fan of the first season and and even if you werent you should still give it a shot.

For me, I started watching this Anime because the summary intrigued me. And all I can say is that after the first episode, I was "hooked". I actually started reading and finished the manga a couple nights later.

The story is fairly unique for me in that there are no other anime's that come to mind that uses a game based on forms of "diaries".

The art is extremely well done and I feel it really helps bring the story to life.

The Opening and Endings are also very well done with songs that complement to the theme of the anime.

As for characters, I really ... like how they develop the characters in the animation and excellent voice acting.

Overall, I feel this anime really does the manga Justice. It brings the story to life and all the elements from the animationto voice acting to OP and ED, etc really help make this anime stand out from others.
