Hello! So I was trying to find someone that read the Lupin III manga, and I found you. Is there any site where I can read or the only way is buying the volumes?

Good to hear that. I noticed you weren’t much active here and thought real life had catches up to you; some friends here are on exam weeks, so maybe that’s your case too?

The GLT manga was indeed a better experience. Compared to it, the adaptation did failed to recreate the “melancholic yet optimistic” atmosphere the manga had. The manga on its own enjoyable too; the dynamic of the pair of girls exploring with such a naive curiosity the abandon city was by far the most endearing aspect of it. Each chapter had its own theme and goal, but always being cohesive with one another. This one is yet another manga that reminds me of Blame haha, but mostly for the use of a post-apocalyptic sci-fi setting and backgrounds with gargantuan structures... I read some people complaining about how it ended, but felt like the most fitting approach to such a journey. Not sure what ele could have been expected from it.

Oh, and I started reading “The girl from the other side”. I was unsure about picking it up because it was compared a lot with Magus Bride, an anime that was very disappointing and even annoying for the most part. So far is holding up with its slice of life feel blending with the mysterious grim fairy tale vibe. Looking forward to how it will develop. I hope Seven Seas continues the translation until it’s completed.

So, how have you been? Looks like you started LoGH and Princess Tutu; both very good shows and one of them is actually a favorite of mine. How are you liking them so far?

Hi Zain!

Just dropping by to see how's everything going on your side... The other day I was checking your Wordpress and it has some interesting entries I enjoyed, like the one about Baja no Stidio which was on point and made me watch the short the same day. Do you have plans about what you write? or do you let the idea flow to you naturally?

Oh, and on a random note, I read Ashizuri Suizokukan recently. Pretty fascinating that short read was. The way panpanya played with the backgrounds and cartoonish characters gave it a unique feel to it. It gave me a similar vibe to Blame, a title I like a lot, in how it plays with its world to give it an immersive atmosphere, although this one was more on the surreal side rather than the scifi one from Blame. I'm gonna read GLT next and hopefully I'll enjoy it more than I did the adaptation.

Hey there!

Thanks for accepting the friend request =)

It's not common to see someone with Bokura no Hentai on their favorites. That one was a pleasantly good surprise to be honest, wasn't expecting much but it sure delivered.

You can download it from the same place where you should always get your Anime shit if you are not in any private ones.

I have it on hold, I'm on like episode 12. Right now I'm trying to watch series that aren't too long. I liked it so far so I'll definitely be picking it back up later.

(•_•) , ( •_•)>⌐■-■ , (⌐■_■) Sup! How's the wordpressphere working out for you?

I read your blog posts whenever possible. Don't know how you juggle writing as many anime posts as you do, and still able have time to watch more anime. Teach me wise one lol.

Away from that blogger stuff, I'm currently attempting to finish writing about certain anime. Attempting since I either hate them a lot like the first season of My Hero Academia to the point it never seems like I'll never finish it, or I'm just entirely stump on how to write about a certain title. Right now, I want to sing my praises for The Night Is Short, Walk On Girl anime movie that came out last year, but I'm clueless how I would do it justice. Sometimes, I just prefer working on my own stories since I find it a lot more fun, but daunting because how much I want to put into them. Thankfully, I'm simply working on one that is just me working stuff up on the spot. It'll likely turn out bad, but it's relieving in a way for me.

Airing anime right now is not much to my interest. I'm currently watching Lostorage Conflated Wixoss which I find okay at the moment. It's biggest turn off is the convoluted writing, and some simplistic characters. I mean, a straight up evil character is fine, but WIXOSS they go out of their to make sure every non-good character is a psycho who just enjoy making people suffer. That kind of lack of variation of characters type eventually make the psycho characters loose their appeal over time. I still enjoy it since some of the characters I like, and develop well. However, it's a J.C. Staff anime so anything will goes in terms of quality.

I also finished Serial Experiment Lain recently myself. I found it to be one of the best anime I've seen. When it's not infodumping, it has some of the best subtle storytelling I've seen in anime. Another positive about it is everything it touched on in terms of the internet, and it effects of people was ahead of it time, and even more relevant nowadays. Can't forget that classic moment when that one reporter simply repeats "Lets all love Lain". Oh, what a classic moment, and the rest of the series is just a mindfuck.

I see you're currently watching Yu Yu Hakusho, Mobile Suit Gundam 1979, and the original Kino's Journey anime. I wasn't a fan of the original Kino's Journey anime. I thought it was average; ideas it presented were interesting, but nothing about it felt significant in the long run because its leading character simply witness the events of these towns. Yu Yu Hakusho I found an enjoyable shounen. I personally prefer the early parts of the series, but I'm in the minority it seems on that viewpoint. Despite it declining in quality the long it went on, I still thought it was a good shounen. The original Gundam animation be rough at times, but it's story, and characters kept me coming back. Some of the episodes were pointless; like the one where the civilians wanted to stop by a location just to feel the earth even though the empire was after them. It might be almost 40 years old, but I've yet to see many modern mechas do its story quite as successfully.

Can't forget most importantly, how's that Serial Experiment Lain post going?

Hello! I purchased online a copy of Robot Girls Z a couple of months ago. My copy of the manga is untranslated, completely in Japanese. No scanlations exist online for this manga, unfortunately. :(

My bad on the super late response XD. Offline, things are keeping me really busy at the moment. On "Golden Batman" I found it on YouTube in five parts on some obscure channel. Here's the link to the playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WTcxywuOMw&list=PL7DF188C6F1C49190&index=5

There ain't any sort of English subtitled verision when I first saw it, and not sure if there's any made for it now. I planed on making a subtitled version for it, but ain't happening this month. Work XD. Also, nice to meet you, and thanks for reading.

Any anime you looking forward to next season?
