Any reason why you didn't like Ergo Proxy? I thought you were a Cyberpunk so I figured you might've liked a show like this especially since the intitial eps gave off a really a cool, interesting and a nice blend of edge feel just what you'd want from a good cyberpunk themed show.

Aside from Father, the majority of them I consider 2000s villains, since it was 03 that made most of their presence known. Chrollo I see as a 90s villain since he did the exact same thing in the original anime adaptation, compared to Meruem who was never in an anime until 2014. I didn’t have Kirei and Gilgamesh for them appearing in Fate 2006, but unlike Chrollo or DIO, their Zero incarnations are what really gets to their characterization; 2006 versions are lacking in that. Despite the remarkable gap between 03 Kimblee and Brotherhood Kimblee.

Ergo Proxy dropped at a 5 that quick? Oh whoop. Real love it or hate it. Thankfully the atmosphere and themary kept me invested despite slow pace. :(

And also, while the new season of AoT doesn’t deserve to be that high, it is, unlike the previous one which played against its strengths with a slower paced focus mainly on politics and mystery, actually fun! And gets to the point of it with all the character stuff with enough continuous bombastic action to not bore me.

Alicization killed my enthusiasm for a month but Jojo Part 4 and re-watching Stand Alone Complex brought it right back. Also, I'm surprised you haven't watched any of Jojo yet. Seems like everyone I talk to that watches a lot of animu loves it

Who would you vote for, what are your favorite/least favorite choices and are there any you would suggest adding? I partly made this poll because I wanted to think about what villains people would look back on this decade of anime for.

Boo you dropped Aot S3 now you'll get to miss this masterpiece one of Mal's all time top ten shame on you. https://myanimelist.net/anime/38524/Shingeki_no_Kyojin_Season_3_Part_2

Nice man also good luck with the exams, well here's some titles that I've enjoyed going through. For anime: K-On, Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Yuru Yuri, Rakugo, Maison Ikkoku, Tatami, Shirobako, and some few shorts here and there, Tortov Roddle's pretty neat, it's like watching a Mushishi episode but without the unnerving feeling it gives from time to time. I'm sure you'd definitely enjoy them when you get through. Also, if you're ever gonna get a rebound from watching anime, do continue Hakusho, it's quite a fun series though I'm not too sure as to how I'd compare it to Hunter x Hunter since I've only seen the manga and yeah that didn't quite go well. Wasn't quite familiar with Togashi's works back then lol, think most of his works are better in anime imo.

Never knew they were on MAL lul.

Kid A is the goat tho

Quite well actually finished a ton of titles all throughout my vacation lol but yeah well, I'm kinda wanting to transition to other mediums. I can't really do a proper anime watch since schools gonna start up again here :(, How's life treating you man btw?
tingoo May 16, 6:34 PM
Fair enough. I generally give a few episodes to something before dropping it, so I might try it again at some point.
Hanakotaba May 16, 2:37 PM
Madoka may be dark and revolutionary the masses believe it to be but none can surpass the edge factor that is Mahou Shoujo Site. You have muh bullying, rape, and murder all in one package. The quintessential mahou shoujo anyone can enjoy lul

Plus bleeding eyes :woke:

DiscoMilf May 16, 12:24 PM
But I'm drawn to garbage. It calls to me. Plus I like to have that avg rating score nice and low.

How do you approach it? Do you try to balance what you watch with shows you expect to be good and some that you expect to be bad, or do you just try to watch what you think you'll like? I'm losing my mind trying to do both
tingoo May 16, 11:32 AM
Oh damn. I dropped it at episode 1 because I thought the whole "the mom's the bad guy" was extremely ham-fisted and the visuals were pretty lame. I didn't particularly hate any of the characters though, so I wouldn't be opposed to picking it back up. If you do end up reading the manga let me know if you think it's the better option.
Hanakotaba May 16, 9:04 AM
Anne?! Real poggers

Also don't listen to WoG, Doremi is a conspiracy to force people into watching 200 episodes of nothing. We all know Madoka is peak mahou shoujo
