Save your time, do not bother trying it.
Aside from being unnecessarily long, the pacing is also too slow. There are too many plot holes, and is a stuck up for the main character. The women here are supposed to be warriors who'll pilot the big monsters they have, but instead, they are nothing but regular people that can't do anything but rely on a single boy????????????????????
The development of the story is too predictable it wasn't even entertaining. And the character development was worse.

I would have liked it better if they only focused on the spider's story. The first time the pov changed, I got confused as to what they were doing. As the story progressed, I saw were they were going for. But honestly. I didn't like it.
The spider was very entertaining, while the other characters were lackluster. I would have given this show a 7 or even an 8 if they only focused more on the spider 'cause that part of the story has a lot of potential. And aside from kumo-san, I think their teacher has a lot of potential as well. I really didn't ...

I haven't read the manga, so when it was first announced, I was thrilled because isekai is one of my most favourite genre. Looking at the trailer I thought this was gonna be at least enjoyable. The anime is slow paced. In fact, too slow that I lost interest because there is no progress at all with the development. The thing that drawn me is the magic aspect of the show when it was first announced, but I was truly disappointed with just how much potential they've wasted.
