From the creator of the wonderful Working!! series (a series I adore as well) comes yet another well done adult working life anime named Servant x Service. Much like it's other sibling, Servant x Service marks itself as an underrated (popularity sense) piece of art

Story: 8/10

First off, you don't see many adult life stories in anime in general, so Servant x Service is one of a kind in many senses as well. Even from a romance fan's perspective, I felt it moved from Slice of Life to Romance a little to hastily in the second half of the anime, although the last two episodes were read more

Apart from the hordes of Romance and Comedy anime I'm addicted to there's always that one genre I don't watch that much but love unconditionally, that is the Slice of Life genre. Not to mention Shoujo anime. I'm a huge fan of shoujos like Kaichou wa Maid Sama and now Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun

Story: 9/10

As if the setting wasn't unique enough, being a slice of life, Gekkan Shoujo didn't have to worry about a proper plot and so we didn't have to either. It just showed us the sweet daily life of Nozaki and Sakura and their group of friends in their daily shenanigans. What was read more

"We will do anything to protect the millet dumplings!"

Ookami San is one of those anime that are hard to find. It had a wonderful set of characters and a unique plot to boost it's appeal, although the plot was kinda rushed. It also showed how a Tsundere is REALLY done. I first watched this anime a year ago (when I started out anime) and rewatched it just today, and so have a review ready.

Story: 8/10

The story was quite unique in it's own sense. First the positives, a lot of plot was covered in just 12 episodes and the benefit was that not a minute was read more

"Arigatou Daisy-chan"

The loveable incompetent idiots return for another excellent and hilarious season of Working'!!

Story: 8/10

Working'!! starts immediately where the first season left off, and doesn't fail to make me laugh and enjoy their daily shenanigans once again. One downfall was that not much was improved from the last season as this was a direct continuation of the last season, but the comedy and SOL moments more than made up for it yet again. Since it's a slice of life (one of my favorite genres) you won't and shouldn't expect much of a plot going on anywhere, and that's the best part about the genre as read more

Gintama (Anime) add (All reviews)
"The country? the skies? You can have them. I'm busy just protecting what's right in front of me. I don't know what'll happen to me in the future, but if something has fallen at my feet, then the least I can do is pick it up." Sakata Gintoki (AKA Kintoki)

It is absolutely, positively and definitely impossible to generalise Gintama into one word. It is funny, it is sad, its action, it's lazy, it's Shounen, it's anti-cliche. If you forced me to describe Gintama in one word. I'd simply say "Gintama is Gintama"

Story: 10/10

An original plot mixed in with a bunch of idiots calling themselves the read more

Wagnaria. Better known as Working!! was a very fresh intake on the slice of life field. It had great potential to be one of the best and unique SOLs out there but sadly later on that potential was severely wasted. Beneath the Moe and fun characters lay a sadly large amount of boring times as well.

Story: 7/10

I'd say it was good. It as mentioned before was a very unique take on the SOL genre as very few of them ever go beyond the walls of high school and this was about working (as if the name didn't mention that :P). It started off really well read more

From the studio that animated the ultra-popular Fate series, Ufotable brings in another great anime, Katsugeki Touken Ranbu. Quite the underrated anime, it's got many good things going for it and is absolutely worth a try despite the unfortunate unfair low ratings.

Story: 7/10

Although a great story, it feels quite rushed. I'll start with the positives, it clearly explains itself at first of what situations the characters are going through until the midpoint. The plot progresses a bit fast from what I'm accustomed to and felt too fast especially towards the end. Sadly 13 episodes weren't enough as it felt things were confusing at times, if read more

Once again Shokugeki no Souma doesn't fail to deliver it's amazing and tasty dish of a second season, it builds up from the previous season and unlike most sequels, becomes *better* and makes it's mark in an even higher position. This is my review of Shokugeki no Souma season 2, commence!

Story: 9/10

Continuing immediately where we left off at the last season, Shokugeki no Souma wastes no time in bringing is straight to the front seat with the clash of cooking experts in what could be called the tournament season of the series. Likewise, it was fun and didn't waste even one second in getting the read more

Another excellent example of a great Harem RomCom, Renai Boukun leaves it's mark as one of the really good anime of its kind out there. And with good reason too.

Story: 7/10

The story like most other harem, picks up the pace quickly at the start and slows down towards the middle. It was really hilarious to see how it turned out as the comic Death Note parody is featured almost everywhere throughout and it adds to the humor (especially if you've watched Death Note). The pace is slow like I mentioned before and helps familiarise with the characters. Though apart from the Death Note parody it read more

Classroom of the Elite. An anime that was done in a very different and appealing way that was loved by the masses who watched it. Though it had it's share of issues it's still one of the best anime you could watch this year.

Story: 7/10

The story was a very unique and complex idea, something so complex that it couldn't be completed in 12 episodes (more on that). It had almost all the elements to rake in more viewers without fanservice (thank GOD for that). Now with the good stuff out of the way I'll move on to the next step here, the negatives. The story read more
