A slice of life with dragon maids!! A perfect example of ways to make simple slice of life animes interesting again. Each episode is a different storyline and will sometimes follow a different character. The art style is stunning and showcase the new era of anime animation.
The fight scenes in this anime are among some of the best I've seen in a long time and it's for a slice of life anime!! Also has some fan service sprinkled in but isn't in your face or super obvious. Think it's just the right amount. Loves the first season and the second one did not disapoint.

Story: The storyline in this manga hits you straight in the feels. With romance, family conflict and loss of a loved one. Once starting I could put it down until I finished it. The main dialogue start off from Hana's prospective until the second half where we start to see Ame and Yuki prospective and how they grow and shape.
Characters: Character development is amazing in this manga. You literally get to watch them grow and change as individuals and as a family. From the start to the end all our mains characters motivations and end goals shift and change. My favourite character is Ame. ...

Really nice romance anime with some really good characters. the romance didn't feel rushed or forced but the characters development and interactions felt organic and smooth. I do feel that some characters weren't used to their full potential. however I haven't seen the second season so might get to see more use out of some character in that. I did feel that the story would happen wound the characters rather than them benign control of the story (if that makes sense) like a lot of thing would come very east for Shirayki and we don't really get to see her struggle to achieve her goal.

Really nice feel good anime with good story line and good music to top it all off. took a couple of episodes to get into it and start to enjoy but thats usually the case with most anime. went into this anime not knowing anything about it or hearing any hype which I think help with my expectations.
story: 9\10 The story is a really sweet story with some really deep and meaningful moments thrown in. starts off with a basis story of the two main characters trying to reach there goal all the while getting to know each other and developing their friendship along ...

so only really watched this anime because of all the hype it was getting and unfortunately I dont thibknit lived up to it in my opinion. The anime had some really good bit (mostly due to the art style which I liked) but mostly felt really rushed.
Story: 2/10 at the beginning I felt the pace was a bit slow but as most animes are you need to watch a few episodes to allow the story to pick up. However i don't think thats the case here. Most of the story was either dragged out or just rush/ over looked. If the anime was longer ... |
