Hi, Wasshio-san. I saw you just completed B: The Beginning. Its overview caught my attention so I'm considering to watch it. How was it? Something you would recommend?

Thanks! I first watched Madoka when I was really young. I hated it and spaced out during most parts back then.
Today, I think about their situation and read the synopsis and it really touches me even though I remember not much of it.
I definitely got to watch the 3 movies.. skipped 1-2 cause it was recap haha

Yeah I'd have to say that the same applied to me as well. I actually started Pandora Hearts nearly two years ago but only read like the first 5 chapters but then other series were given higher priority and PH just got pushed to the side for a looong time. Then when I finally got around to it, I restarted it from the beginning since many people say that it's best when binge read since there are a lot of details to keep in mind. PH's story is like a huge puzzle and the truth is scattered all throughout the course of 24 volumes. There's that, and a large cast of characters to keep track of along with generations upon generations of characters that influence one another in a variety of ways. It gets very complicated to say the least. Upon finishing PH I had a small feeling of regret for putting it off for so long because of how incredible it turned out to be. However, its anime adaptation is pretty disappointing from what I heard. For one, it's incomplete. I think it only adapted 1/3 of the manga (and faithfully so) and ended with some filler episodes. The real plot didn't even begin to start. And two, the anime itself is kinda lackluster and doesn't show off Mochizuki's style all that well. I will say this though: the music is unbelievably great! So I guess that's one huge positive. Anyway, mystery also wasn't my most favorite genre in the past, but after reading series such as Pandora Hearts and Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria (a light novel series which I TOTALLY recommend), I developed a strong liking for the genre. I guess that's because those series had really unique storytelling that actually kept me interested all the way through with a huge payoff in the end.
