No problem, I appreciate the positive comment my friend. It's stuff like this that keeps me writing them!

Yeah, it stands out. It has a nice feeling of tension too. I wanted to write about it, because its josei tag may be misleading for many.

Thank you! It's good to know that your reviews can be useful for people. I try to write about stuff not many have written before, there's a lot of interesting manga with empty profiles.

Whoa! Good to know! It's a really interesting series. Too bad it looks like it will end soon, I hoped for longer and more epic run.

Generally the abbreviation is Re:Zero and there's a high probability that Subaru will make your eyes roll if Ikoma did. He is kinda self-insert character, self proclaimed hikkikomori but in good physical shape because he trained at home. Suddenly went from our world to a fantasy world, a girl helps him and he decides to defend her smile. He is very optimistic and easygoing and sometimes funny. He has some psychological breakdowns because of his power of going back in time whenever he dies and he dies a lot. In 12 episode they made 2 arcs where they cover a day and a week of him dying repeatedly. The show has some good tense moments but the inability for him to die made me lose interest. The girls would fit a harem anime despite Re:Zero not being one. The most similar mc I can think of is the one from KonoSuba but without that amount of humour. However since you liked Steins Gate I don't exclude the possibility for you to like it. Same studio broadly similar concept but with fantasy not sci-fi.

Thank you, I am not very satisfied with the Kiznaiver review myself so I will try to work on it when the show ends.

While you flatter me, I ultimately decided I won't bother. I disagree with the underlying philosophy behind the show - "Sacrifice the individual for the furthering of the group" - which would make this very frustrating to watch. It's probably distorting my judgment even at the first episode. Better to not watch it then give a heavily biased observation of it.

I really wanted to like Darker Than Black. My buddy loved it and I wanted to know more about the world and background, only to find out that it was never provided. Was Darker Than Black a series of Light Novels like Spice and Wolf, where the last few never made it to an anime adaptation? Was it a project that got canned early like Tokko? Or was it really the intent of the writer to never reveal so many key plot points?

Thanks. Mind telling me how you ended up to that conclusion?

Well someone has to clear the stagnant otaku basement air that permeates this site.

Thanks! I must say that I am flattered. Have you read my Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou review? I consider it, by far, my best review to date.
