There are a total of 4 episodes, in my understanding these episodes of KAGUYA-SAMA WA KOKURASETAI: FIRST KISS WA OWARANAI are in fact better than the 3rd season of the main anime.
The episodes are contradictory, the two characters end up regressing in their relationship, now being totally raw in terms of affection, Kaguya directly asking Shirogane for a kiss, while he directly says that she was mad at him for not taking her hand.

been a negative for both of them, but throughout the episodes, we are told that this is the essence of love, taking off your masks and showing what is purest in you and revealing your true self to whoever you are love.
It sounds kind of cliché like the classic ''Be yourself'' but it goes even further than that phrase, because you unconsciously end up being yourself only with the people you really trust. Showing your true self to someone is a vote of confidence.
In addition, all the fantasy that the anime creates in the 3rd season with balloons to finally have the ''first kiss'' is very superficial, and in these 4 episodes we manage to see a realistic couple wanting to see each other's true face, and instead from an entire fantasy scene that was shown to us earlier, it has now been reduced to a kiss in a square after being given Christmas gifts.
The anime has already taught us that it's very good to dream of a perfect relationship, and that it's very good to love someone who loves you back, but sometimes, it's good to look at reality, fantasy is good, but the love that exists in reality real life is much more beautiful than any fantasy
