He is both confident and arrogant, but his interactions with other characters in the anime show that he has a softer side. Anos' love interest, Misha Necron, is another well-developed character who is both adorable and strong. The chemistry between the two characters is heartwarming, and their interactions are often hilarious.
The anime's world-building is another notable aspect. The world is rich in detail, with each faction vying for power, and the intricate magic system that governs the world is well-crafted. Perfectly terrible isekai:
Lack of originality: The anime follows a well-worn trope of a character who is transported to a fantasy world and gains incredible powers. While this can be entertaining, "Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!" fails to bring any new or exciting elements to the genre.
Poor pacing: The anime suffers from pacing issues, with some episodes feeling rushed and others dragging on for too long. This can make it difficult for viewers to stay engaged with the story and characters.
Shallow characters: The characters in "Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!" lack depth and development, making it challenging to connect with them on
...
an emotional level. This can make it challenging for viewers to become invested in the story and care about what happens to the characters.
Inconsistent animation: The animation quality in "Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!" can be inconsistent, with some scenes looking polished and others appearing rushed and sloppy. This can be distracting and take viewers out of the story.
Poor world-building: The anime fails to establish a fully-realized world, leaving viewers with many unanswered questions about the setting and the characters that inhabit it. This can make it difficult to understand the motivations of the characters and their actions.
Overall, while "Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!" may have some entertaining moments, its lack of originality, poor pacing, shallow characters, inconsistent animation, and poor world-building make it a disappointing viewing experience for all viewers.

It is Shokugeki no Soma for football, but worse in every way possible. Author has no idea what football is, or how it is played.
Story is about as unique as emtpy paper.
Art style is somewhat passable, if viewer can tolerate horrible story and characters.
I’ve seen more character in expired milk, than in this series.
If you know ANYTHING about football, it will be trip to cringe town with no brakes.
Now, the question is, is there anything enjoyable about this series? No. Music is horrible, dialogue was written by AI by giving words “goku, football, champions, football player”.

Characters are bland, motivation for characters actions feels like they were made on the go, while animation work was taking place. No real character grow, or change.
Story tries to be very deep and intelligent, but by 3rd episode it drops down from the sky dead, straight into dumpster and by episode 10 said dumpster is set on fire, when studio adds new story threads that feel forced after realising, that by episode 8 mystery was gone and whole plot collapsed on itself.
Animation would be decent for anime made in 2000s, maybe in 2010, but seeing this anime being from 2020, there is no excuse
...
for such poor quality and attention to details.
When all money was spent, studio remembered that anime needs sounds, voice actors and music, either that, or studio chose worst possible musicians and VA possible for every role on purpose.
After watching this anime, my disappointment was immeasurable, and my day was ruined

Ok, so there is hate on SAO for being bad, well, as a person that enjoyed SAO I can understand that feeling of "meh" now. There is no weight to the story - players are immortal, there is nothing to loose. Yes - death removes a bit of memories, but we see Shiro die over and over again later in series and there is no negative effect, like it is forgotten at all. There is no real drive to care for the pleople of the land - they are NPCs, yes they take up maintenance of town, but players can do it just fine too,
...
as we are shown that quite early in the story. Living is dirty cheap, only drawback tastless food, but it means as long as you kill atleast a couple of monster, you can go by just fine living in inn, as well as buying food. So... What should we care about in anime, where MC and his guild are immortal, can go by without dying, because normal monster and even armies of monsters are too weak to threaten them? There are to stakes there, characters are 2d in every possible way. Shiro is smart, Cat is good chef and womanizer, paladin is perv, ninja is tsundere - all you will get out of the main cast. If you want somewhat decent stuck in a game anime go watch SAO, or hack// series, atleast there is something to be lost if they die.
