MY GLORIOUS WAIFU
If you would like to know why i deem Satsuki my worthy waifu: (Kill la Kill spoilers obviously)
Satsuki represents most teens in their later years, or more specifically, 17-19. Satsuki is depicted at the start as a mature and strong-willed woman. Almost nothing fazes her, she's skilled in combat, charismatic, and is willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants, other people's opinions be damned. However deep down, shes actually a scared and vulnerable normal girl despite her abilities. This is very similar to most older teens, they like to appear invincible and are actually talented but deep down they are just as scared and confused like everyone else. Satsuki is very skilled in hiding her vulnerabilities, only letting her guard down amongst her loved ones and when shes alone. For example, after her second battle with Ryuko, she appears to be struggling with Junketsu. After removing her Kamui, she has a rare moment where her facial expression is one of fatigue and relief. This is in stark contrast to the brave, calm, calculating and "invincible" Satsuki that is seen throughout most of the show. Later on when Nui highjacks her helicopter to take her to Ragyo and drops her off at the mansion, she is seen in the bathtub with a subtle look of nervousness. The most obvious sign of her nervousness is that she's trying to cover her naked self up. Back in her first fight with Ryuko, she specifically said that "If it helps achieve my ambitions, i will bear my breasts for the world to see!!". This contradiction shows that Satsuki is actually very shy when it comes to showing off her body, however shes willing to put aside her embarassment aside for the sake of her goals if she must. And her goal is to rebel against her mother and overthrow the life fibers. The fact that she endures sexual harassment from her mother, wearing a parasitic Kamui, being half-naked in public, and all of the other problems that come with being a leader and plotting a rebellion and is still able to maintain her strong image all to fulfill her ambitions shows the strength of her unfettered willpower, conviction and resolve.
Another reason why i like her is her belief set. As you may guess i am very fond of the Ubermensch ideal. Its hard to explain but overall the Ubermensch ideal is one where a man/woman improves themselves, thereby improving humanity with their example for the sake of humanity itself, unrestrained by the moral code imposed by society and instead follows his/her own. They also dont waste their lives for an afterlife, but rather they live for this life right now. Its an ideal based on Self-Confidence, Willpower, Freedom, Faith in humanity and moral Independence. There is much evidence of Satsuki being an Ubermensch:
1.Her plan is to overthrow her mother, seeing her as threat to humanity.
2.She's willing to do anything, even things people normally think is bad, that might help her goal.
3.She constantly improves her army's capabilities.
4 Being utterly convinced that her cause is noble.
5.Extremely Self-confident and unafraid to challenge anyone.
6.Ultimately motivated by personal motives.
7.Has her own moral code and sense of honor.
8.Inspires others to follow her cause.
Her quotes also make her Ubermensch like:
1. "Fear is Freedom, Subjugation is Liberation, Contradiction is Truth. Those are the truths of this world, and you will surrender to them! You pigs in human clothing!!"
This quote essentially says that one cannot experience something without first knowing its opposite. How can you know Freedom if havent experienced fear? how can you know liberation without experiencing subjugation? How can you know truth without contradiction?
2."The fact that you are shamed by the values of the masses proves how SMALL you are."
This quote is saying that those who let the opinions and beliefs of others control and shame you are small and weak on the inside.
3."Great causes are always fueled by personal desire"
4."A skyscraper built within your mind will never fall down."
This says that as long as you stay true to your beliefs and ambitions, you will never falter or waver in pursuit of your dreams.
5."It is because it is overflowing with inexplicable, unidentifiable things that the world is so beautiful."
This says that the unknown and unexpected are what make this world so beautiful.
While Satsuki may come off as a Social Darwinist, seeing as how she ruled the school with a social darwinist style, she's able to forgive her friend's failures and give them 2nd chances. Showing her softer side to those she cares about. Overtime, she eventually realizes that treating people like pawns will not achieve her ambition and makes her the same as the monster shes fighting. Near the end of the show, she sports a more relaxed and happy expression and is considerably more friendly towards her comrades. Lastly, when the students of Honnouji academy graduate, she is shown to be empty of her iron will. After achieving the ambition that she spent her whole life fighting for, Satsuki finds herself without purpose or even the will to live. The clones of her and the Elite 4 represent the desire to return to their past conflicts due to lacking a goal after defeating Ragyo. After Ryuko saves the day by telling everyone to "graduate" from Ragyo (or to cut ties with their past and move on), Satsuki once again found purpose in her life by devoting herself to helping people. And with the vast amount of wealth she still has, her future is bright.
To conclude, Satsuki was forced to "grow-up" early due to realizing the threat Ragyo was and never got a chance to be a kid. Now that she finally done so, i imagine her as alot more carefree and girly since she never had a chance to be a normal high school girl while still retaining her willpower and leadership qualities.
Overall, Satsuki is an Uberfrau (Frau is German for woman) with an iron will and a great capacity for leadership. But also alot more relaxed, carefree and girly then she was at the start of the show.

Neither am I, but dun worry, theyll prpb patch it.
I know that, should have said "which part are you refering exactly to with the "eh what?" comment" anyways...
Well as sad as the fact that Keijo has ended is. I don't see why that somehow correlates to Yuri on Ice existing, I did not see the anime (nor read the manga for it) but it seems like a harmless sport series with a bit of ecchi and two main characters being gay. Also I happen to be Bi so in a way, I am kinda glad that Yuri on Ice still goes on, just in case I happen to like it, whenever I get to it.
Perhaps using some crappiest ecchi equivilents would be a better idea.
Still it is a sad day for ass men such as myself, still need to finish the manga. Once it ended and the translation seemed to be dropped I kinda lost the drive to finish it, since well, not like I could without knowing Japanese anyways.
Becuase they are lol. They pump out games lately, on top of that all are unfinished and lacking in content unless you get the DLCs. To all of which they make shitty excuses about budgets and all despite lots of other companies making massive games, fully complete, no DLC scamming, all for just a typical full price and that is all. Witcher 3 comes to mind as the biggest example, it has a lot more content, looks better, and does not cost 100-200 of not more inclduing al the bullshit DLCs. It really sucks cuz Total War has a great idea, and aome of their games are good, especially for modding. Just lately they got greedy, and not they alone sadly.
Not sure what the what is refferening to.
I have more than that, a few Ive got for free, some for next to nothing. Some I am not sure if I even finish at any point in time.
Well I mean, I was refferingto the witcher with the map thing, it actuallynever bothered me in Nier and besides, they hardly ever explain the locations of quests in Nier, they literally say "I marked it on your map" and that is it.
The last fight was bogus for sure, but it's still not as bad as the final boss of Uncharted 2 (one of worst climax battles in history lmao). I was disappointed by the plot overall, which is sad since there were many moments in the game where the story could've taken off only to stay grounded. Despite the sequel's superior gameplay, I still find the first game better because of the narrative. I only hope that Shadow of the Tomb Raider contains the same atmosphere as the first game.
The other modes are grindy af so it's best you move on to other games if you don't wanna lose your sanity xD
Ah, well I consider myself a more of a strategy fan than anything else, albeit it wasn't until not long ago when I got into gaming "properly" so even then, I did not play that many strategies. I am not looking forward to anything atm tbh, I am kinda waiting for Total War Warhammer 3 (Still dunno why they did not name it Total WarHammer, such a fucking obvious "pun" to be made.... oh well) if, whenever it comes out, cuz they did mention they will make 3 "games" (I still refuse to call them seperate games tbh, fucking greedy British faggots).
Other than that I kinda wanna revisit some of the games that I played during childhood or games I wanted to play/finish but never did.
Oh well, I might get an Xbox one, I know that they work on PC, albeit they are not exactly too cheap it seems. I did not think much of it, I payed little attention as I just wanted to see how the controls work, I think I spent more time trying to find a button that skips the cut scene than listening or looking at anything. I do think that instead of making the entire introduction a long cutscene, letting the player take conrol half way through was a good idea.
Tell me about it, I just bought Disciples II Galleas Return and Disciples II Rise of the Elves. Becuase I played them when I was a kiddo and they are on a sale. It is the never ending circle of "I will not buy anything more until I finish at least most of the games in my library" and "oh well, it is on sale, and it is dirt cheap, just this once" repeat every bigger sale.
I mean, what is there to think about? Well, you seem to play more strategies that I would suspect tbh lol. I literally bought it yestarday, tried it a bit to see how it does with keyboard and mouse but nope, need a controller for this one. I have a few lying around but I cannot for the love of god find drivers for them, so I am kinda outta luck for the moment.
Did not play tyranny yet, I bought it on a sale and did not get to it yet, might play it soon though, I am kinda unsure of what I want to play at the moment tbh.
Off the top of my head I think I had weapon attack up, ranged attack up, max heal up, offensive heal, auto heal and one more thing but I cannot remember what it was.
Eve was a fun fight but heck, it gave me a bit of a hard time at first as I had no healong items on me, was frustrating but I somehow managed, not sure how many tries it took me though.
I never fought those golden bastards, I kinda attempted but once I realized I was barely scratching thrm I gave up. But it is something I will do whenever I replay the game.
I am more of a keyboard and mouse fag, always was. I know that controllers are better for some things but I have been using a keyboard for so long it jist feels more intuitive and comfotable to me, unless we are talking about fighters, those I always (well, whenever once in a blue moon I play one of them) use a controller for.
In witcher as if? Yeah, can agree, it has okay combat with good ideas but kind off not more than that, the kinda game which you play more for the story and the worldbuilding and so on.
Divine Sauce xD Yeah it's hilarious when you stall the story for the sake of sidequests. Kills all sense of urgency lol.
Ohh Hel, that's the character Cate Blanchett played, right? Didn't know she was Thor's sibling, that's cool to hear. Well I mean, not all MCU films have their villains foreshadowed in their prequels, so that's understandable. Ahhh, I was actually wondering why Infinity War started the way it did.
I didn't even realize that Hulk kept failing to transform because of his fear of Thanos. Adding my ignorance towards Star Lord's fuckery, I seriously gotta pay better attention to the movie lmao (was mostly invested in the fights). Perhaps I'll rewatch the film when it comes to Blu-ray.
Witcher 3 is a good choice on what to play next. Do one thing at a time so you don't get overwhelmed :')
They hinted an Ikabey release before afaik but I am not sure about that really. DI kickstarter didn't turn out well anyway, and more than Ikabey I wanted KKK but it's difficult to translate. We are getting the LN spinoff translated though https://www.stuffiliketodo.net/work/dies_irae_song_to_the_witch_2781
How could I forget about those white-armored dudes and that Jonah scene lol. The bow will always be a killer no matter what although some guns can be just as effective when fully upgraded. I use the SMG too because of its decent firepower and range.
Anthony Hopkins played the most docile portrayal of Odin I've ever seen. I heard great things about Ragnarok, and believe it or not my parents recommended it to me (they're your typical Gen X so it's crazy hearing them enjoy an MCU film). So IW takes place only a few days after Ragnarok? That's interesting. The humor can get a bit jarring at times, but it won't be an MCU film without some family-friendly comedy xD
Ahhh that's probably where you got the assumption from then.
Yeah I wasn't aware of Star Lord fucking up until I did some reading on the film. Btw this post from my FB feed couldn't be any truer lol.
Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, Croft Edition, and Ultimate Edition. With each having varying levels of content, I wouldn't be able to find a bigger recent cash grab if you told me to :'P
KotOR 2 is a much better game than most people claim it to be. The story is inferior to the first game, but only by a small margin. The party members are great with each revealing their deep backstory once you earn their trust. There are more feats, more Force powers, and more equipment. I remember finishing the game six times in my quest to achieve the perfect playthrough. The only downside I can remember is the presence of game-breaking bugs. Tell me your thoughts as you go through the game since I also need a refresher lol.
I loled so hard at this one, thought I was going to correct way only after restarting did i look down and noticed the mech. Also done with all the main endings, not sure if I want to get the joke and bad ones as well, but I just might.
I had a more defensive build, auto heal x6 is seriously overpowered if you have the patience, just dodge, run around for a few seconds and you are back at max health. Though, does not work that well if you are fighting a boss that is hard to dodge from afar (AKA Eve, who is much easier if you keep close as most of his attacks can be easily dodge by jumping over and behind him, but if you are too far, not only do you lose your vision but also can be easily hit with debris even if you dodge his attack.
Cuz hacking is quite powerful while his physical attacks are... well, not. I still ignored most of them unless I had to absolutely hack, some of those hacking games were kinda fun and nicely designed, some just could not make it fun with mouse and keyboard no matter how hard I tried. Oh and if you play it again, instead of the mouse use the arrow keys to turn around, it is much easier than with mouse and you have enough time between, when you enter and exit the hack mode to switch. Still, would probably work better with a controller, should have used one myself but eh. Unless you are using a controller already, in which case, nevermind.
You can level it up in the forest kingdom castle. Teleport yourself to the royal chamber, exit it to the right. On the broken bridge jump down and immediately jump to the left to land on the bridge overhang, after that just pull the metal box that is blocking the entrance towards you, when you have enough place just jump over it and enter the room. Inside there will be a robot blacksmith that can level up your gear to level 4 (I had to check a guide for that lmao, I searched everywhere and found nothing myself... easy to notice why.) I did nt care much about the weapon stories, should I? I usually care little about background text like this, weapon descriptions and all. The only thing that interested me were the enemies descriptions but even those did not tell me anything I did not know by fighting them myself so I just stopped doing that as well. From that point onward I only read the archives and focused on the story alone.
Gameplay wise, not much, the game is kinda, well it is not that hard once you get the basics. Block humans, dodge monsters, the game is pretty hand holdy when it comes to explaining stuff so the only things to figure out yourself are how you want to play yourself, aka more sign based build, or more sword based... tho I never tried a sign build so dunno about how effective it is. One tip I have tho, go to your HUD options and disable the mini map, it is pure cancer, you will spend most of the time looking at it instead of looking at the game itself, you really are doing yourself a disservice with it. I am not alone with this one as well, many people found it more immersive and fun to play without it. The main map can be easily accessed if you lose your way and most of the time the npcs just tell you the directions so simply pay attention... there is only one moment when I was forced to use the mini map, but that was in blood and wine expansion, so that is long way ahead.
Part time or full time? If full time then good look once you enter the college, well I dunno how it is in US (or wherever you live) but even if you get relatively a lot of free time, yeah, can be tough.
Kinda the same for me, kinda. I was a neet for a year and well, I had too much time back then. It was easy for me to just do nothing the entire day, because well, I can still play or watch something another day, or the they after, or... so on, so I never got anything done. Now if I don't do it today I am gonna have little time tomorrow because I have to spend 8 hours on sleep, 8 hours in work, plus get read for it, and I will also be too tired and so on. (of course this is a hypothetical sentence, I still got one more day off tomorrow, but well after that? work again.) It becomes really easy to actually get off of my bed and do something, be it productive or not, because I can no longer just leave it to tomorrow.
Rea felt a plot device most of the times anyway. Rusalka is by far the most interesting heroine and character, her different names symbolizes her various personalities too by drawing various references.
Lotus wasn't given the choice though, present Ren who is a reincarnation of Lotus and his descendant(great grandson) was given the choice to pick any one of them in the extra side story so yeah I don't think so.
