Rating system explained
I rate anime objectively and factor in enjoyment. This can lead to some higher ratings than most would consider, but also some very low ratings. For example, Akame ga Kill I gave a 7. Although objectively, it had narrative issues and bad narrative decisions, I enjoyed the anime because of the characters, music and animation.
10: Objectively perfect in almost every regard and was very enjoyable. (I give out a 10 only once a year) Grade: A
9: Objectively it was almost perfect outside one or two issues and was very enjoyable. Grade: A-
8: Objectively was excellent was was better than average. It was also very enjoyable Grade: B
7: Objectively is average in most regards outside one or two things. Can still be enjoyable. Grade: C
6: Massive deal breaking issues whether it is one issue or multiple issues. Can be somewhat enjoyable, but forgettable. Grade: D
5: Issues almost across the board. These anime tend to have multiple glaring issues and are either boring, or torture to watch Grade: F
4-1: Literally garbage. Has many issues or is generic as all hell. Not enjoyable at all and tend to get dropped by me
Currently a senior in high school. My interests involve anime (Obviously), soccer and sports in general, gaming, computers, music, and choral singing. I plan on attending University this upcoming fall. It's going to be interesting how that turns out e.e. I watched my first official anime "Strike Witches" back in 2012. However, I didn't start watching anime seriously on a seasonal basis until 2016.
