Oh, wait, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are similar in quality wise though, I feel the need to note this.

Oh I see. Having to wait one week for each episode can be burdening sometimes haha
Kokkoku is a Sci-Fi which is quite similar to Steins;Gate (I wonder if you have watched it) in someway, I guess.

I'm currently watching ReLIFE and following (airing) Violet Evergarden and Kokkoku. Have you watch those titles?
Well, Code Geass and Noragami, I'll look into these some other time.

Thanks for accepting my fr.
Do you watch anything interesting lately?
Bruneo Mar 5, 11:07 PM
Hey cool! Thanks man! (might've been a bit more harsh then we shouldve :P )

I don't think i've heard of this one yet, it looks interesting. I slapped that bad boy onto my plan to watch list! Thanks!

It really is! I feel like sending a friend request to that user too if my affinity with him/her is very high, lol.

You're participating in the 2018 AWC too, right? Best of luck!

Yeah I'd never be able to watch that many shows. I mean we got people in Anime Guild watching 30 Currently Airing shows a season. I find that crazy XD. But we do have a feature with 20, 10, and 5 watching classes. So we gear towards everyone's capabilities.

Greetings Tubbyman I recently gave you a invitation to a seasonal club.
I tend to like to start a conversation with everyone I invite instead of just giving you a random invite.
*If the invite doesn't go through just message me about it*
Yeah when I moved away during my high school days the group that I feel into didn't care for anime so it help lead to a hiatus for me as well. Thankfully I found this website and it has given me reason to keep going with the hobby ^.^. But I would caution going in too "hard". You don't want to burn yourself out.

Hey there, come and visit our club (^_^)/

Greetings, Tubbyman! Thank you for the friend request. :) Yes I love Sora Yori mo Tooi Basho. It's my favorite anime from this season! And I'm surprised to meet a fellow MAL user who shares very high anime affinity with me, as it's rare in my case.

Hi Tubbyman. Sorry for the late response, I was kinda busy with university and didn't check MAL.

Looking at your MAL profile, I don't know what you expect from a shoujo-ai. I've not seen that much, but I'll try to help you. Since you want to use it for the challenge, I'll only tell you about tagged shows. If you want a popular shoujo-ai show, you can try with Yuru Yuri, which is a cute girls comedy show in which characters have a crush on each other (there's no romance, though).

If you want something characteristic of the genre, Maria-sama ga Miteru is the classic shoujo-ai anime, and it was (and still is) quite influential, although more recent shoujo-ai shows I've watched are more focused on either fanservice or just hinting.

If you want an airing show which is quite popular this season, Citrus is a nice manga with an ok adaptation so far (I'm only 3 episodes in, though, I've heard it goes downhill) if you're mostly looking for fanservice or something relevant right now.

Yuri Kuma Arashi was directed by the same person as two widely acclaimed anime: Shoujo Kakumei Utena and Mawaru Penguindrum. These three anime some obscure references and it's hard to know what's really happening in the anime if someone else doesn't tell you all the references. While Yuri Kuma isn't as good as the other two (you may want to check them out, I'd say Mawaru is easier to watch than Utena), it's still a very good show.

Lastly, if you like Shaft (same studio as Madoka, which you seem to have liked), MariaHolic is a comedy made by them. Shaft shows have their characteristic animation and directing in most of their relatively recent shows, some people love it and some hate it. It uses some yuri tropes but you can enjoy it without having seen any shoujo-ai (like I did). Speaking of Madoka, Lyrical Nanoha has yuri and it was directed by the same person as Madoka, but it's not tagged as shoujo-ai and it's therefore not valid for it.

I hope your challenge goes well, and you find the anime you watch good enough. Feel free to drop by when you finish whatever you pick (if you pick something) and tell me your opinion.

I'm just gonna chill for the rest of the day, so no plans for me either :(
