I'm watching Kakegurui, Fate/Apocrypha, Koi to Uso, Violet Evergarden, Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu, Ballroom e Youkoso, Owarimonogatari 2nd Season and Hajimete no Gal this season. ^^ And I might pick up some more anime throughout the season.

No need to apologize :) I’ve been taking a while to reply to people too. Mostly because of work and then tired at night, it’s too hot here to do anything. I’ve been reading a lot too.

Yes, The con was very great. Luckily we have one in town, so it’s not that hard for me to go to them. I got to meet Jason Mamoa and Ron Perlman. Going to cons is very expensive though. Between tickets, food, costumes, spending money and parking it adds up. I love seeing all the different costumes and going through all the booths. There was a good lecture by some authors/ writers about publishing – it was more helpful than a lot of the panels I’ve been too.

I need to watch that. The manga for it is great. If it’s on Netflicks, that’s better. I just finished Fate Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works and it was good, I want to watch the other parts of the series. I’m watching HunterxHunter 2011 right now, the first 5 seasons are on Netflicks I’m on season 5 so I’ll have to see where else has the rest.

I really liked the anime for Akatsuki no Yona, I like a lot and it goes much further. The anime only went to where she gets her party together and then there are a lot more adventures after since it’s ongoing.

Me too, I read a whole bunch at the same time and need to just finish some up. I do prefer the novel for Moonlight Sculptor over the webtoon quite a bit though, I guess that when you read the book the movie misses things and it’s sort of like that. lol

I haven’t read those or seen them yet. I seem to mind eechi more in animes than in mangas. It also really depends on how it is drawn and handled; I think some artists can make it work and with most it’s just annoying.

Oh, the London one must be great!! It’s such a cooler city (in multiple ways!) than Phoenix. Lol

Yeah, The cosplaying does take money, or time, or both (usually).

Hope things are going well for you too.

It's ok, It's taken me longer! I'm sorry – real world stuff taking over my reading, watching and responding time. I was at phoenix comicon for 4 days and other than that working lots of overtime.

I want to watch Ore Monogatari- if it's as funny as the manga it will be great. The Irregular at Magic High School was good. I watched it because it was on Netflixs but I enjoyed it – it's sort of Harry Potteresque in a way. :) You should give it a try. I'm watching Tears to Tiara now and other sections of Fate Stay Night – I just finished Fate Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works and I liked it so I want to see other sections related series.

I'm hoping they make another season of Akatsuki no Yona.

Ok, I will put Log Horizon on my to watch list. I am reading the Legendary Moonlight Sculptor both in novel and in webtoon. (The novel is better and it's translated from Korean to English chapter by chapter). It's also a person who goes into a game world to make money and he works his way up so I would love to see it made into an anime, not sure if it will be since it's Korean but I would really like to see it done. It's also more realistic as he has to do things to level up etc.

Yes I was bummed / upset about the creator of RWBY – another light of the manga / anime world taken out too soon.

I do need to watch Bakuman. I read the whole manga series and loved it so if the anime is good it should be fun.

Yes, The art of Mushishi is great so I'm looking forward to watching the next season of that too.

Honestly I take forever to write sometimes too since I work too much. I usually work 45 hours a week but this week there were two days I was there 12 hours each ugg. But comicon was fun, although it also takes a lot of time, energy and money! Lol I was so tired out after it I felt like a needed a vacation. Hahaha
Again sorry I'm late too.

Oh, me too, if they put out a second season I would even buy it. :)

I’ll have to watch for it. I’m watching The Irregular at Magic High School right now. :)

Oh, yes, Oresama Teacher is very funny, like you don’t want to read it in public because you’ll get strange looks when you laugh out loud. Lol It’s a girl who was in a gang and she’s on the disciplinary committee. The teacher was her neighbor when she was little and I think the reason for her going the gang. Oh, and the characters are really funny. No romance as of yet at 100 chapters.
Same thing with Akatsuki no Yona no real romance although both are technically reverse harems but the girls don’t really have clues about that stuff. I love the manga for Yona. :) It’s over 90 chapters now.

Huh, I’ll have to watch Log Horizon too then – is it different enough from SAO that it will seem not a copy?

RWBY is good, it’s sort of like Harry Potter x Bleach if that makes any sense at all. Lol I watched the 2 seasons that are out. The art put me off at first too, but then I really enjoyed it. The girls are pretty badass. There is a 3rd coming but the creator died but they are making it anyway. He like just died recently of an allergic reaction so really unexpected.

Ginko is cool, I like his mysteriousness. Mostly I love the art of the series though.

Ouran is one of the only ones I've watched a bunch of times. Usually I just watch them once, since there are so many others to watch. But it's just so great. I really wish they would make a second season! I even signed a petition asking them too. lol The manga ending was great and I would love to see it animated.

I didn't know there was an anime out to Ore Monogatari - I'll definitely have to watch it once it's done. The manga is so funny. He's a great character.

If you like funny ones do you like Oresama Teacher?

Yes, I really want the second season of Akatsuki no Yona! I'm reading the manga up to about chapter 83 but I've read translations that weren't fully done out to about 90. It's even better so if you like the anime, you should put it on your list.

SAO I watched 2 seasons plus extras and a movie but I stopped the movie because it was just a recap of the series but much worse. I am waiting for the 3rd season. I haven't seen Log Horizon.

I'm watching an american made asian anime now, which is surprisingly good called RWBY. It's pretty good really and fun. The art sort of put me off at first but now I like it. I can't track it here since it's not Japanese but it should be on here. I watched the first season and I'm watching the second. I like the heroine and her team. It's not great but it's enjoyable.

Yeah, and now I have to find somewhere to watch Spice and Wolf 2.

Mushishi is different from a lot of anime. It's more atmospheric and slow moving but it's more about mythology and the art is great. I heard there is a second season so I need to find that too. It's slow but it's not more like legends and stuff with slice of life. Ginko is a different sort of lead too he's very mysterious and subtle.
inzaratha May 2, 2015 3:14 PM
Exactly, Ouran is a no fail pick up :) Always makes me laugh. It's one of those anime that I've watched many times too which is unusual.
ReLife is cool and the scan group is scanning a chapter every work day so it's going along well. Love So Life is finally moving towards something which is great. Ore Monogatari is cool because he isn't a bishounen or even like most mc in either a shoujo or a shounen.

I'm never current on the anime because I wait til they complete and come somewhere online I can see them altogether. I watch them on the big screen though not on my computer. I like to kick back and watch it bigger. I just finished the first season of Akatsuki no Yona and then went and watched Spice and Wolf again ( I'd seen it before but like it ). I can't find the second season online so I may need to pay for it or buy it. I've watched a lot of SAO lately and hope for another season of it and Akatsuki no Yona. I've also finished Ah My Goddess and I've been watching Ranma 1/2 very recently so I watch a lot of old ones too.
I read and watch differently - like I read many ongoing manga but I tend to just watch one or two anime at a time that are completed ones to completion before I find something else unless I can't find part of it like with Spice and Wolf. They took it off of Netflicks right after I finished the first season, ugg.

Well, that's fine. Yep Ouran is one of my to go favs when I need a good laugh - it always makes me feel better if I need a stress relief!
So what are you reading and watching lately?
inzaratha Apr 28, 2015 8:56 PM
Nah, it's fine! Ok slightly weird but fine - but I see you like Ouran HS Host Club too. It's one of my favs too.
