While your list of favorite anime is a very interesting one indeed, Rau Le Creuset being your favorite character is your most fascinating choice. Not only was he a great and sadly underrated villain but he also one of the very few who while defeated in the end, is never completely discredited in his views. Kira and friends faith in a better future may have won out in the Cosmic Era yet Rau's nihilism lingers on underneath to unsettle in it's implications. He was beaten but not vanquished and the Seed cast will have to keep on fighting against his ideals of humanity's inherent greed, malice and self-destructive nature for the rest of their lives.

Came across your review of Tree of Palme and was surprised with how my feeling were about the same. More than anything, though, I was surprised that there was someone besides me who had Fantastic Children in their favorites, as well as its director, Takashi Nakamura. Seeing that masterpiece and it's stellar creator praised is something I felt alone in until now.

Thanks for your review on Palme no Ki! Almost all of the other reviews were negative. And I see Fantastic Children is in your favorites, rare to come across someone who has actually seen it and liked it! Isn't Nakamura Takashi great?
