Good for you...I mean about Cross Game that is. :)

At least the high production values are noticeable. Hans Zimmer is its music producer? Wow. So far, everything is just "meh". The graphics are okay but the characters are nothing special. Kai does gets on my nerves with his teenage angst and irritating voice. I don't know about Saya yet.

I'll stay on and watch it through mini-marathons; I should finish it very soon. I want to watch it for two reasons: One, it's one of those anime titles that people have been talking about despite it being four years old already. Two, I've seen contrasting reviews, and I need to watch it for myself. Shadowmage gave it a 7/10 but Taleweaver gave it 64% in Nihon Review and Anime Academy respectively.

I am so excited to finally watch it. And I can't believe no one told me that Kappei Yamaguchi was the lead. That makes it even more exciting. :)

I've been thinking about watching Real Drive, actually. If you get around to watching it before I do, let me know if it's any good!

I'll look forward all the way to the end. By the way, why does your EP review in AS states that there are 25 episodes? Shouldn't there be only 23 episodes in total?

I've seen up to episode 16 of Ergo Proxy, and I have to say that episode 16 is the best episode yet. It's amazing how getting stranded allow them to discover each other. Plus, Pino is great; your less energetic version of CB's Edward.

I also want to give kudos to episode 13 for showing the limelight to Iggy. He finally gets the attention he gets.

Just a word of advice on Soul Eater: The show gets off to a pretty lame start, but by episode 11 or 12, things begin to pick up...and by the late teens episodes (16 or so), the show really switches into high gear. I'm up into the 20s now, and it's been totally worth the patience if you can tough out the initial wave first. Definitely one of the better shounen anime I've seen so far.

LOL yeah after being an anime fan for so many years I thought it was time I watched this. :)

I am enjoying it so far but I don't think I got to any of the really crazy stuff yet.

So what about Death & Rebirth? What exactly is that and what is your recommendation about it?

I am happy to see you are starting to watch Mushi-shi again :)

I really enjoyed Black Jack. It's not necessarily the best anime you'll ever see, but it's certainly worth your time. :)

It really is. I find I'm not doing much else, haha.

I always knew I liked the manga, but never got around to reading it online. Once I did, I figured I had to watch the anime too. I'll be glad when I'm finally caught up.

Oh, good! That's really promising, then. :D

Oh, you've seen the first episode of Birdy the Mighty Decode! I've downloaded it, along with the original OVA (which I'm more interested in, honestly), but haven't gotten around to watching it yet - is it any good?
