Dannshi Koukousei no Nichijou is supposed to be a comedy/slice-of-life anime that's pretty much reminiscent of Lucky Star. Which is really bad for me, because I found Lucky Star to be awful.
Story:
What story? Besides, when you actually get into a scene, then it does the title inserts at least a good six or seven times per episode, that's when it gets tiresome.
Art:
Okay, the art was pretty decent, I will admit (why on this review thing is 'decent' considered worse than 'mediocre'?).

Sound:
Is there really need for the immediate introduction when you already have the opening theme to come, which is eh at best anyway? I also started to get annoyed with the soundtrack.
Character:
The characters were too cringeworthy for me to watch properly. I do like how they moved away from schoolgirl life and made it about schoolboys instead, but that doesn't really add much in the end.
Enjoyment:
It doesn't bode well when I nearly fell asleep through a lot of it, and it struggled to keep my attention. This is labelled as a comedy, but I probably only laughed twice throughout what I watched.
NOTE: if you don't like anime such as Lucky Star, this isn't for you.

I've seen loads of reviews comparing it to the source material. I, however, won't be doing that initially. Instead, I'm doing most of this review separate from the game version. After having played the game and watched the anime, I know there's going to be a lot of similarities between the two.
STORY:
The story wasn't what I was expecting, after hearing my 12-year-old step-brother obsess with it! However, even though I'm not a fan of most murder mystery shows, this intrigued me a lot.
ART:
There's a huge contrast in art from the main parts and the executions. It doesn't do much to deter from the
...
story. The blood is pink, supposedly for censorship reasons (I have no idea why), but that just makes it interesting.
SOUND:
I do love the soundtrack to this anime. And the opening themes are catchy as hell - yes, including the Monokuma one.
CHARACTER:
With it only being 13 episodes, of course you're not going to get a whole lot of character development in that short time. However, going over the top with character development, especially early on, is kinda annoying.
ENJOYMENT:
I did enjoy this quite a bit.
And now to compare it with the game: of course it isn't going to be as good. A lot of character development has gone, and certain things were done at different times. But that doesn't make it a bad anime! What else can you do with 13 episodes?

A lot of people hate Fairy Tail. Despite the popularity, it's probably more hated than Sword Art Online and Boku no Pico, and that's saying something.
I'm writing this review as fairly as possible.
STORY:
The new series carried on from the previous (Grand Magic Games arc). Since the end of the arc, there were about five arcs (Eclipse Celestial Spirit Arc + omake, Sun Village Arc, Tartaros Arc, Tenrou Jade Arc and the first two episodes of Avatar Arc).
During the one-year time skip within the series, we also saw Mavis' back-story in the Tenrou Jade Arc or Fairy Tail Zero as it's known to some
...
people.
The story follows the manga and the omake manga. There was only one true filler arc throughout.
The main disappointment is ending the series two episodes into a new arc.
ART:
The art was noticeably different, and was still bright and vivid - until the Sun Village Arc. During this arc and the following arcs, the animation colours seemed to gain a purple filter - that's the only way I can describe it, but it was around that time that the story no longer immersed me, because I was agitated with the new colours.
SOUND:
The soundtracks, oh my.
Acnologia could have been voiced by someone who knows how to truly sound badass.
CHARACTER:
The characters were more fleshed out during the omake.
ENJOYMENT:
I have to give this a lower rating than its predecessor. This is mostly down to the artwork involved. It's the main area that let down the series for me, to the point where it is no longer in my top 5 series.

Oh dear, where do I begin?
Okay, the first few arcs weren't too bad. We have a few decent storyarcs with a few alright filler arcs in between, that don't actually seem like fillers. Well, they kinda do, but they have their own intriguing stories. In the Wikia, it now splits some of the arcs so those unfamiliar to the listing (e.g. 'Itachi Pursuit' once featured the hunt for Itachi as well as stories revolving around him and Jiraiya's battle) will be confused (like I was just now!). Even the back-story featuring Jiraiya, and the Kakashi Gaiden adaptation was amazing to watch.

updated art, but it is still ugly in areas (have you seen the background ninja - who drew them?).
The sound is pretty much the only thing that's going for the anime at the moment. The emotional openings and endings are still something I'm interested in.
I know this is entirely to do with Kishimoto, but at least give Ten Ten some non-filler character development! She's worse than Sakura! Ten Ten only has development in the filler.
The worst thing about the anime is the fillers. Yes, I said it. The fillers since the War arcs have all flashed back from before the War, and currently do not serve a purpose within the anime. At the end of 2015, there are only eight canon episodes. Where one of the main conclusions of the manga feature, instead there is no end of fillers - and as far as we can tell, none in January either - I'm looking at animefillerlist.com at the moment.
Do yourselves a favour and read the manga if you haven't. It's not much better, though.
If Naruto had an entire reboot away from Studio Pierrot, the fillers should be rewritten and classified as 'canon', and then the fillers are in their original places (so that they follow along in chronological order as to not confuse fans and keep the dynamic of the War arcs going).

Story: the story was generally confusing. Like who was doing what, where was everyone. The story seemed to be a victim of overthinking-syndrome.
The art would have been alright if it weren't for the CGI dragons. It was jarring and took from the enjoyment. This contracts to Madoka Magica, where the differences in the styles actually complimented each other.
The sound - well, the OP was the most redeeming part of the anime. That and the art for it.
Character - I actually preferred Lou and some of the other background characters because most of the other mains had flat personalities.
I ended up watching the entire thing purely

out of curiosity. It wasn't the worst, honestly.

I don't often watch magical girl anime. I'd heard about it and thought 'hmmm...meh' after looking at how girly it is.
However, I decided to give it a shot, and I'm definitely glad I did. From the beginning, the surreal-esque artwork that deviates from the generic anime style and the music from Yuki Kajiura and Kalafina set up this anime.
Without spoiling anything, it's a magical girl anime that by far sets itself apart from most generic magical girl anime.
Story: 10 out of 10 - the plot is initially simple, but gets gradually more complex as the series goes along.

anime style alongside the different styles incorporated through the witches' barriers were amazing. The transformation sequences were amazing, too!
Sound: 10 out of 10 - the voice acting for the Japanese version was great, the English dub was okay, but I wasn't quite feeling the English Homura. The soundtrack, as well as the opening and endings were amazing, too.
Character: 10 out of 10 - goddamnit Kyuubey. That is all. Favourite character? Probably Kyoko, although I do have a Sayaka t-shirt somewhere...
Enjoyment: 10 out of 10 - enjoyed this a lot more than I originally thought.
Overall: 10 out of 10 - yep. The review says it all.
All in all, it's one of the few anime that's had me going from 0 to crying like a baby in 12 episodes.
