Hello Good Day!

I made my Re; Zero Review. Heres the link: hope you check it out.

I am interested in what's your overall opinion in the anime and what you think of my review? It is too long or confusing? Is it Helpful?

I appreciate the Support.

I love your Kemono Friends 2 review because the hypocrisy just show through your mal with the quantity of anime you like that only exists because of Kadokawa be it as a publisher of the original Light Novel or funding the creation of the anime adaptation of it. lol

Haha, I wonder how long I will be here for. I do miss the US, so I might return after a year or so depending on how things go. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm passionate about, so I hope it will work out it in the end somehow. It's hard sometimes not having a definite goal or direction.

You should definitely visit Japan if the opportunity arises in your schedule. I took a short trip to Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara for a weekend last year (I was in Hong Kong during that time) and as an anime fan, it was sort of like seeing your imaginations come to life. The scenery (roads, alleys, houses) is just like how it is depicted in genres like slice of life. Long story short, I loved every bit of it. I'm going to see if I can visit Tokyo later this year.

A friend also recommended Rising of the Shield Hero, so that'll be the next one I watch once I catch up with Reincarnated as a Slime. And I completely agree with Date A Live. It's not definitely not the best, but having been so long, it has a nostalgic feel. I was looking at my anime list the other day and remembered series like SnO, Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka, Baka to Test, and Sekirei of course. Man, those were good times, my friend :')

That's awesome, man :) Happy to see you're chasing your dreams and passion, and sounds like you're very motivated. I'm still figuring out what my passion is, so I have to say I'm a little envious. I'll be rooting for your success, so keep me posted. I'm actually in Hong Kong right now as that's where my job is. I wish I could do something in the gaming space (or that's where I think my passion may be), but I unfortunately I don't have the technical skills for that. I bought some online courses for a few programming languages so I'll test it out and see how it goes. I can't really imagine myself working a 'normal' job for the rest of my life, but the priority right now is to get on my feet, save money, and have the means to support myself. One thing I am very happy about is that I'm close to Japan :)

Do you have any series you would recommend? I started watching Reincarnated As A Slime and am enjoying it so far. Excited for season 3, part 2 of AoT next season and going to start Date A Live III when I get the chance as well.

Hey man, just wanted to drop by and say hi :) Logged back in after a few months away, hope you've been doing well since we last spoke. I just started my first full time job after graduating last month. I've seriously fallen behind on anime the past year, so gonna see if I can get back into it again. I checked and realized it's been almost 8 years since we both started using MAL. Time freaking flies, I feel so old now, haha.

Ah damn, sorry to hear that. I hope it works out. Perhaps you can try to find some online classes this summer while you work. I'm taking two classes during May and June and I wish I chose some online ones cause I can't really find time to work. One of the classes is a guitar class though, so that's pretty cool.

I hope KonoSuba gets a 3rd season. I enjoyed it but I can't find myself reading the light novels.

Most of the manga series I followed in the past came from watching the anime adaptions first, like Sekirei, SnO, etc. Unfortunately, a lot of the anime series I've enjoyed were adapted from light novels and I'm unable to really get into them like I can with manga. I think it's due to the inconsistent volume releases and translations that I eventually lose track of and ultimately forget about. But I think I will pick up Monster Musume, I remember reading the first several chapters back in the day and it was enjoyable. I might catch up on the manga of Attack on Titan after the 2nd season. Another series I'm thinking about picking up is Masamune-kun no Revenge; I watched the anime when it aired in the winter and I liked it.

The ending for Akame ga Kill in the manga was much better than in the anime so I was happy with that. I thought you had finished Sekirei a long time ago haha~ I kind of skimmed through the last arc because I was anxious on reading the ending. I had no idea Sekirei is getting a sequel :D I just looked it up and it seems the author is planning to make some chapters about what happened during a timeskip at the end of the story.

Hey man, once again it has been a while. Hope all has been well these past several months. I think I'm in a better place mentally since the last time we chatted. Did you complete your degree yet?

I am back on the anime scene for now after grinding out classes and stuff haha~ Finished my spring semester and got a week to relax before summer classes so all I've been doing is watching anime and playing PC games. What anime are you following this season? I loaded up on a good amount:
Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism
Renai Boukun
Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records (favorite one so far)
Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho
Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2
Granblue Fantasy The Animation

Hopefully I will see all of them to the end. I noticed you changed your profile picture to Kazuma - I watched KonoSuba during the semester and loved it. It was hilarious and relaxing to watch whenever I was taking a break from school. Definitely one of the better comedy anime series I've watched. I also just got a Crunchyroll premium membership so I can finally give some support to the industry instead of being a freeloader all the time haha :)

Are you currently following any manga series? I haven't read any since Nisekoi finished. I hope I can pick up one or two over this summer.

Man, sorry to hear about that. Always welcome to talk more about it if you wish. Are your current jobs similar/related to your previous one?

Enjoying college? Far from it actually xD I could go on about it, but I feel like I just chose the wrong place. It's in the city and most people are cold and distant. I also feel the demographic isn't right for me (many students from well-off families). I say that because the couple people I've connected with the best are from modest backgrounds. I just look at college as an investment and I'm trying to make the most of it w/ good grades. I hope I can meet a couple more people I can become good friends with before I graduate.

My favorite was Tsugumi and she wasn't going to be the end girl so I was indifferent about the other choices. I did feel bad for Onodera though because she had so many chances, but just couldn't overcome her shyness.

Jeez, you've been watching quite a lot xD I try to choose a handful, like 3 or 4, per season and follow it as best I can. Right now I'm just watching the second season of Shokugeki no Soma. However, I think I might also pick up ReLife and the 2nd season of Danganronpa since I enjoyed the 1st season.

What I also need to do is pick up another manga series now that Nisekoi is over. I'd like to finish Sekirei in one or two sweeps once all the chapters have been translated - I'm like 30 chapters behind. It'll be nostalgic, seeing as how that's the first manga series I started following (aside from Naruto) and it's come to a close. Then there's also Attack on Titan, To Love-Ru, and Shokugeki no Soma (I think I'll begin reading after the 2nd season).

No worries, I had my hands full as well. But glad to hear that you're back on your feet and doing better now - keep it up! I assume you aren't working at the same place when we talked the last time? And if you don't mind, I'd love to take a look at your videos on YouTube sometime :P

College has just been a grind to be honest (at least for this previous year). I was extremely busy with classes this past semester and slowly broke off with most of the people I hung out with. I guess it was inevitable since they prioritized having fun over school/career goals. As a result, I'm trying to make a effort in finding new friends, but it's hard because of my more introverted personality. I remember you showed me a video a while back of the guy approaching Japanese locals with his not so fluent Japanese - I hope I can slowly work my way up to that confidence level.

Right now, I'm interning at a small firm (internships are a part of my school's curriculum) until the end of the year so it gives me some nice exposure to the real world. Only downside is the long hours (60-70/week) xD But as much as I groan about it, it's a good opportunity and a privilege.

So have you still been actively following anime/manga? Nisekoi just finished (I remember you said you were trying to follow it via the English tankobons, so I won't spoil the ending, but if you already know what happened I'd love to hear your thoughts) so I'm not currently following any manga. As for anime, I'm on the 2nd season of Shokugeki no Soma. I absolutely loved the first season. Some of the anime I've watched this past year are Deadly Seven Sins, Rakudi Kishi no Cavalry, Gakusen Toshi Asterisk, and Gate (halfway through the 2nd season). I want to watch Owari no Seraph when I get the chance, and finish Angel Beats.
