That'd be a great help!
I have trouble finding manga that interests me just because of the sheer volume of content.

Have been trying to get back into manga for a while to no success.

Stumbled across your heartfelt review of Inai Boku wa Hotarumachi ni Iru and am going to give it a shot.

Neat hearing you enjoyed the review.

Here's a meme,

Hi there :p
Always nice to see Ergo Proxy in somebody's favorites, such a gem that's rarely discussed. Also good luck with stomaching Gunslinger girl

It is a book that pretends to take itself seriously but is actually a dark comedy, so if you can separate the sexual themes from the absurdity of the main character, I'd definitely recommend it!

Constantly changing? We don't really change that much, aside from the stimuli we choose to bask in.

Are you reading anything? I'm currently reading Lolita by Nabakov, it is better than I imagined after putting aside for years.

I have read One Piece online, for two reasons. The first is because before I invested money into the series I wanted to see if I liked it first. The second is, online there are full color versions of the manga that look great, whereas these color editions don't exist in physical form. I plan on buying physical copies in the future, I just have taken a break from OP because I've been reading other stuff. One Piece is good, it just depends on what your expectations are. A lot of people look at it and think that since it's the best selling manga of all time by a landslide that it is perfect in every way which is not the case. If you're looking for great battle/action scenes, it's not that good. There is much better stuff. But if you're looking for adventure and world building, then it is good. The first arc, Deep Blue, is slow and turns a lot of people off but it really serves as an introduction. Baroque Works arc is where things start to kick off.

Thanks for the kind words. I like Tatsumi's work as well. It's funny because I was talking with my English professor about the significance of graphic novels and nobody outside of the community takes them seriously, however works such as this show just how far the medium can go. By the way, I was talking to a moderator on this website and he told me the reason Abandon the Old in Tokyo is not in this website's database is because that release was only in English, not Japanese. So essentially, Abandon the Old in Tokyo and Daihakken, aside from a few different stories, are the same thing. Thanks again.
