The girl's love/yuri genre has recently seen a great boom when it comes to manga creations. Every day, it seems there is another one-shot or volume one or two of some other girl's love manga that repeats the same tropes over and over again. So, to find a manga that genuinely pleased me brought me great joy, as the girl's love genre gets flooded with the same stuff.
The story is one as old as time, with the shy, tomboyish, closed-off girl and the weak, fragile character that helps the other develop. Nagisa finds herself without many friends and especially without someone to love or
...
care about, living with regrets and trauma that hold her back from developing any fragment of social life. Mashiro is a girl that caused the trauma as becomes clear early on. The lack of understanding, however, propels the story into one with depth and life. There aren't any cliche antagonists like the childhood best friend or the former lover. There are no signs of fetishization, just the desire for cute moments. At the same time, you can feel the intimacy from your screen as they hold each other dearly, and only wonder how the story will unfold.
This is a story within a story, and as the past events try to haunt a happier future, I cannot wait to see how this story concludes.

Overall, 10/10. Singlehandedly the best installment in the entire Girls Und Panzer (GuP) franchise. Is that a very bold statement to make? Yes. But it does not come without fair reason and much thought. I put below a tl;dr below alongside my full review.
tl;dr The third installment to the Girls und Panzer: Das Finale is by far the single most enjoyable 40 minutes of this entire anime that I've come in contact with. From start to finish it is a nonstop action sequence, filled to the brim with glistening art and sound effects that made me pause numerous times to rewatch. The settings and ambiance
...
created in the episode shook me to my very core, and I couldn't believe what I was viewing. The story is pretty standard, continuing directly where the second installment left off, we see our favorite tank girls in their full glory, and we get to see our fan favorites return to the screen in full effect!
Here is the segmented part of the review.
Story: 9/10
The story is a direct continuation of part II, as expected. However, instead of focusing on just one battle the entire time, we get to see 4 different battles from over 6 different schools. Basically, if you've been craving just an hour of just the finest battles, trick shots, tactics, and more, this is probably the rawest form of that in the entire anime. There isn't much more to say about the story other than it just continues on with little bits of remembrance to the past, and if its been a while since you've last viewed part II, no worries because they go over the issues that you'd need to remember anyhow. From start to finish, it is just a cluster of some of the most intense (and downright hilarious) battles that the anime has presented.
Art: 8/10
Compared to the rest of the anime installments, which I'd give probably a 6-7/10, the art in this one was glorious. Amazing settings with unique battlefields and animation of tanks so beautiful it'd make a full tank enthusiast quiver. It felt so smooth the entire time, with lots of care and attention to detail scattered throughout the anime.
Sound: 9.5/10
Oh, the glorious glorious soundtrack... I cannot begin to just say the chills I got listening to the country's themes playing over their respective tank battles, it's always such an amazing joy with this anime whenever I just hear German or Russian war songs blasting over the intrepid sounds of tank bullets hitting metal... *ahem* The soundtrack returns in full force in all its glory to deliver an engaging and phenomenal listening experience the entire time, that ost never misses a beat.
Character: 10/10
Probably my favorite part about this installment was the characters. We get all our fan favorites returning all at once in their own respective battles. Head-to-head battles against our favorite teams, full of lively banter, insults, kawaii moments, and more. The characters in this movie felt so real that it made me feel like I was a part of this anime, fighting alongside them as they cried of joy or quivered in fear. Absolutely amazing job.
Overall, 10/10. My enjoyment was through the roof the entire time, I felt a sense of pure enjoyment while watching anime that I hadn't felt in a long time. To part IV! Panzer Vor!

To start, I will say that this manga is dark. Very dark. It is not for people who have dealt with issues like multi-personality disorder, scenes of depression, or mental illnesses.
This review will have spoilers that will be marked appropriately.
The story is one not too common, but one that is pretty predictable for the most part. It follows Asahina Wakaba, a cheery, cute girl with a loving family. She has an otaku father and a beautiful mother, as well as a sociable and popular little sister. The second she walks outside of her house and goes to school, however, it is revealed she is
...
victim to intense mental bullying. Notice the word usage, *mental* bullying, that's important. By the end of the first chapter and the start of the second, she is forced to play a "punishment game," by her peers. Her punishment? Ask out the perverted fat and not appealing popular boy Haruto Iruma. Haruto is by no means a bad guy, he is quite the opposite, teased and funny and happy, he is just your typical class joker pervert. He's liked, but to ask him out would be social suicide, perfect for these girls who want to ruin Wakaba. Of course, the plot is predictable afterward...
Right?
[Start Spoiler] For the next 8-9 chapters, they go on dates and slowly grow closer, Haruto and Wakaba grow closer, and Wakaba, despite initially despising losing her precious "first boyfriend" and such, comes to genuinely love Haruto. So why is it dark? Not because the bullying gets worst, not because they start beating her up, not because Haruto is a sicko pervert and tries to do shit with her. It is because she acts as if nothing is wrong. She falls so horribly in love she leaves behind her reality of pain. She forgets her memories and represses herself, slowly, the insanity is fulfilled after a culmination of events I will not discuss here.
[End Spoiler]
The characters in this manga make it enjoyable, the story is dark, but Wakaba is very cute and it is fun to watch a wholesome romance (kinda) develop over the first 10 chapters. The art style is also nothing too special, it is a simple, yet pleasing and fitting style for this manga.
By the end of this manga, I felt a rollercoaster of emotions, something different from the typical romance or dark fantasy. This manga delves into viewing the mental deliria of a girl who was bullied and is confused about who she is. If I had to sum up the manga in a few words (as of chapter 14) I would simply call it tragic. Reading this manga, you will find broken, hollow shells of people and who they are, as well as both the journey to that emptiness. Characters feel loss, sorrow, despair. This manga is by no means a "school days," type of reading. It does not use cheap and self-deprecating tricks to make the reader feel emotions, it is able to make the reader feel uncomfortable in a way I haven't felt in a long time.
Do I recommend it? Well, that depends honestly, it's a fairly short read, currently with 14 chapters translated, (and the LN not too far ahead either), so it's no more than an hour read. Be warned that this manga made me feel extremely cramped and just straight-up unpleasant for a fair amount of time by the end of it all.
This is not a romance. This manga depicts the horrors of the mentally ill at their finest.

Wonder. Egg. Priority. If there is one thing you have probably heard about this seasonal surprise, it is that it is a confusing and odd anime. Which, it is at first. Whether or not it'll make any sense at all by the end is beyond me, but yet I still watch, as I believe part of the fun in watching this anime is that you don't know anything about the plot or the world, and you make it yourself.
Story: 10
As confusing a story as it is, it does an amazing job at worldbuilding, throwing you straight into a mysterious, unfamiliar
...
place that is quickly taken away from you as the story continues. The story is really easy to understand too, and I do feel the need to say read on only if you can handle more sensitive topics.
The four main girls in this anime are all girls with their own respective... demons. I won't say much as to not risk spoiling, but it is revealed that by risking their lives, they can each save their person close to them who committed suicide.
Art: 10
Not much to say here honestly, beautiful visuals all around, the character designs are just top-notch and the background visuals, as well as the fight scenes, have so much flare it's almost like watching a magical girl anime. Solid animation.
Sound: 8
Overall, not bad. The Ending song is a banger, and I really enjoy parts of the opening. The OST though could use a bit of work in my opinion, not horrible by any means, but I feel it is the one part of the show I have honest criticism on.
The voice acting is excellent though, Ai's voice actor is doing a phenomenal job for being a new VA. I will also highlight Rika's VA, Saitou Shuka, as she is probably my favorite voice on the show at the current moment.
Character: 10
Alright, I think this is where I will talk the most so be ready.
The characters in this anime are all extremely well developed. As you slowly begin to meet more and more characters you learn not only their personalities and tendencies but also home life and inner sufferings as well. Each character is so deep and complex, each one could be the protagonist in their own respective anime, and each and everyone would be just as interesting as the next. The characters have a sort of relatable feel to them, each one deals with situations common in today's modern age, depression, anxiety, loss of a parent, lack of parents. That is just a handful of the numerous misfortunes that haunt these girls in their day-to-day lives, and it's amazing to watch them all grow in person as the anime goes on.
Enjoyment: 10
When I first heard of this anime, I was just told, "This is the weirdest anime I have seen in a while." To them, I give my honest thanks, as I am enjoying this anime every Wonder Egg Tuesday. It's dark yet manages to keep my attention with themes and scenes not often seen in regular modern anime. They deal with trauma tremendously well, and not just using the easy abuse or something of the sort topic to make the viewer feel sorrow or remorse for the characters. The anime takes a very roundabout way to keep me and the viewers engaged, which I think it does extremely well.
Overall: 10
Once again, I am sick of the people who say, "Bu-but, 10+10+8+10+10/5 doesn't equal 10 so you can't give it a 10! Get good at math idiot!" Honestly, I give it a 10, because I find true and utter enjoyment from this anime, as I am engaged the entire time, something anime recently has been unable to do. With the number of tropes and cookie-cutter anime that release every season, its truly nice to see a genuinely wholesome, yet deep and well-thought-out anime hit the stage with flying colors.

Hiya!
I don't often write reviews on MAL, let alone for Manga, but this I feel is a special case. Every now and again, I find that anime that sparks something in me, or reminds me who I have become and where I currently am in my life, this is the manga equivalent. I truly adore this manga so far, mostly for its story, but I will get into that in the individual section review. This is 100% a preliminary review, and I may be biased as I have a deep affinity for Shoujo-Ai content. Enough with the boring stuff, let's get right into this review.
Story:
...
8
The story itself I believe gets around an 8 maybe 8 1/2. This is purely due to the fact that this plotline has been done before, but I think the characters make up enough for the story (more on that later). Simply put, the really popular girl becomes friends with the nerdy otaku is the fastest way for me to tell someone this mangas plot. I do believe, however, the manga does an amazing job looking at the social construct that exists in high school. As a current High Schooler, I see the way people are rude, mean to each other, fake, brutal, and just downright pathetic sometimes. This manga also shows the "cliques" that form very nicely, as well as the ways these superficial friend groups can collapse in the blink of an eye. Notably, however, are the bullying scenes, as they feel far more realistic than any bullying I have seen portrayed in manga as of my experiences. The author does a nice job portraying the mental toll that a lifetime of exile, self-pity, social anxiety, and the feel to stay in your spot on the social ladder weigh on people. The crying scenes are also extremely well done, as it's not always the "burst into tears" or "waterworks" type crying, in "Failed Princesses" it's more of a slow realization of what has been said or done, and tears start slowly down your face.
Art: 9
I think the art is fine, I am not particularly picky when it comes to such things, so I found the backgrounds and "in the mind of the anime character" scenes to be very well drawn.
...
BUT OMFG I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW CUTE KUROKAWA IS IN THIS MANGA, EVEN AFTER HER TRANSFORMATION SHES SO ADORABLE, I CAN'T. The character designs are probably my favorite things in this manga, I still am baffled at how beautiful Kurokawa is both before and after her transformation, and how amazing Fujishiro looks both as an otaku and trying to look bland, really nice work there.
Characters:10
Truly, I believe that this is where this manga shines its brightest overall. The characters feel so... real. It's kind of scary how relatable Kurokawa is to my own personal experiences, and probably something in your life as well. The feelings that the characters experience are so well thought out and logical it baffles me as I read on. That feeling of fear when someone of higher authority speaks scold you, that feeling when those high on the social ladder mock you and ridicule you, the feeling to want to better yourself, but not knowing how. All of these emotions are portrayed excellently throughout the manga, in almost every scene. There really aren't many moments (thus far) that I have found boring, "Failed Princesses" does an amazing job at keeping you engaged, and the dynamics of the main characters truly do wonders.
Enjoyment:10
Every second I read this manga I squeal in excitement. It's been a long time I felt such a mixed bag of emotions in such a short span of time. Just looking at the covers gets me excited as I still can't get over how absolutely adorable the main characters are.
Overall:10
listen, if we were to always do reviews or scores by math, where the fun in that? A 10/10 anime or manga does not have to be perfect, it has to be perfect for you! I give this a 10, as it hits all the feels departments exceptionally well, and I cannot stop looking forward to the next chapter.
Truly, I love and adore this manga thus far. Its slow burn and heartfelt romance, its beautiful and intense moments, the drama. They all fit perfectly.
If you are a fan of Shoujo-Ai, you have to read this one.

"Youth is a lie. It is nothing but evil."
Hikigaya Hachiman is back at it for his climax and the grand finale in Oregairu Season 3.
It has been a long five years since the airing of the second season, meaning the last time I had watched this show I was 11, as I am now 16.
Other than the art, which I believe is around 8 or 9, everything else is a 10. This anime does almost everything perfectly by depicting every type of high schooler. Of course, this anime shows how people are fake, how people choose to put on facades and masks to hide
...
who they truly are on the inside. With an array of characters, ranging from tsundere to imoutos, this show packs a hard punch in my feels department. This show will always hold a special place in my heart, it was one of the shows that built up my idea of life as a whole, no matter what a lot of my thinking and beliefs and ideals can be traced back to the man himself, 8Man.
This season ends off quite amazingly, with not too many ends loose but enough to continue on with a possible fourth season. Hachiman grows a lot throughout the three seasons, all of the characters do.
*spoilers* Yui finally realizes her love for Hachiman, a development that was expected, but in actuality was more realistic than any romance I have seen in anime thus far. She realizes that love is random, she believed that Hachiman would be the last person on this planet she would ever even think about liking, let alone loving. Hachiman is able to win everyone's hearts with his amazing way of helping people behind the scenes, he's a silent ninja. This is the reason he is able to win Yukinons heart, the one who throughout the entire anime, seemed like she was unable to even show much emotion other than anger or disgust.
*end spoiler*
If I had to say one thing about this anime, is that I am proud that I was able to grow up alongside this anime, with its amazing cast of characters, beautiful art style, and ost powerful enough to make a grown man cry, it truly is an amazing anime that I believe everyone, not just high schoolers should watch. It shows a harsh reality of people as a whole, that everyone puts on a mask, that no one is truly who they appear to be.
That is Oregairu. Its been a long five years, hopefully, If this isn't the end, we don't have to wait for another five.
Love ya Hachiman, and love you Oregairu.

Overall: My new favorite anime.
It feels redundant, writing a review for an anime that has such a high rating on MAL, and one that was completed about five years ago as of writing this review. I doubt than anyone will even see this review, but, if so, please read on.
No anime has ever given me what Assassination Classroom has (I will abbreviate Assassination Classroom to AC for simplistic sake). The characters in the Anime, all like 28 of them, are so unique and fun and cute and amazing in his/her own way. The anime says that Karma, Koro-Sensei,
...
Karma, and Kaede are the Main characters but this is false. All of the characters are mains, each with a story to tell, goals they must meet, backstories, or family issues that you will learn of. AC taught numerous lessons throughout the anime, whether it be from comedy or a serious moment in the Anime, AC never failed to deliver heartwarming stories with good execution.
Everything the anime did was, in my opinion, perfect. The OST fit perfectly, (Especially with episode 24) and every scene had amazing animation to follow. As stated earlier each character makes this anime what it is, without them, the anime would be much more bland and cut and dry. The plot is, at its core, simple. I won't explain it because I do not feel a need to go around explaining the plot as this is season 2.
I won't go on for much longer.
AC changed me. It left me feeling empty, but not the usual empty I feel after watching an anime I really loved. The ending leaves the conclusion to be drawn that there is more in store, with Nagisa being a teacher and all. An "Afterstory" will be much appreciated. But seeing as its been five years, and the anime almost perfectly adapts the Manga, it is hard to see anything else being created in the near future.
I love this anime more than any other one in existence, and I have never been more proud to be an anime watcher in my entire life. Its been a long time since an anime has made me cry, but AC takes the cake...

The isekai genre is, as many are aware, an overused and dying genre of Anime. Especially recently there has been an influx of one pun gag isekai anime that only have one unique aspect of them, but then proceeds to make an OP MC with his harem of girls. This harem usually consists of a tsundere, the mother of the group with big oppai, and of course the loli that the MC picks up along the way. A good example of "trash isekai" would be summer 2019's worst anime of that season: Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?
Now onto Otome game
...
no Hametsu Flag shika nai akuyaku reihou ni tenei siteshimatta... (This title is way to long for its own good.)
The otome game iseaki anime is a breath of fresh air in the isekai genre. With you MC being a female who regains knowledge of her past life, is not overpowered, and is an entertaining and unique character that gets along with all other characters. This anime has an actually good plotline that tells and actual story instead of the usual "fantasy world" that we see nowadays.
This anime is an absolute blast to watch, I highly recommend this anime to anyone sick of the current isekai world, and wants something much more unique and original.

"I want to eat your pancreas." Otherwise known in Japanese as Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai, it is truly a beautifully written masterpiece. I gave it a nine purely based on the odd storyline, and kind of rushed ending. The studio forced a couple things, like the ending, or the animation. OH MY GOD that animation was bad sometimes. Also, the title does end up making more sense after you watch it. It is an amazing story about starcrossed lovers, who meet by... well... we don't know. That's the beauty of it, so many things are left to your understanding of the
...
overall anime. Its amazing, like Kimi No Na Wa, or Your Name, its a love story, and both are tragedies indeed.
I will be honest, it does not compare to Kimi no na wa, but looking at it from its own perspective makes you appreciate it a lot more. Don’t watch this anime movie with such high expectations, because they will be shattered.

Ok, so I recently finished Hidan No Aria the first season, and I really like it, one of my personal favorites in terms of story, action, character development, and Seeing Kinjis and Arias relationship develop. When I finished the first season I was hyped to see a second one, but all my hopes were shattered in the blink of an eye. Hidan No Aria AA is really bad in my opinion. I feel it would've been better to just start a new story altogether with new characters and a whole new action-filled story, instead they ditched continuing the plot from season 1, and gave
...
us this Yuri Garbage. The story itself is plain and dry, the action scenes are very poor and the characters are quite annoying. The worst part is seeing the Old characters like Kinji and Aria, who never exchange a single word throughout the series because you want them to talk and advance their relationship. Very poor anime.
