Akami ga Kill chap 43

I have controlled myself to not give any spoilers in the comment below.

1. I also prefer Tatsumi X Esdese over Tatsumi X Akame.
2. Art is great.
3. "not sure which side i should be cheering for" - this is one of the main reasons why this series is a beast of an entertainer.

I want to give you more of my personal opinions and comment more on what you've wrote, but that would spoil. However, since you really like it, I don't think I'll be waiting long for you to catch up.

How are you finding Akame ga Kill atm!?

The second form did feel sudden, but without it, I can't see how Ryuko could win. It's the kind of thing that happens in anime from time to time to knock down a wall. I can live with this one because it made sense. I have seen much worse examples.

The two problems you mentioned have incurred in my mind as well. The first point can be explained by the smaller Satsuki standing next to him at the time. The second point just showed his resolve was not as strong as Satsuki makes him out to be.

I'm also looking forward to the Computer Guy's battle, but I hope it's not all ranged. I think Trigger is much better at close combat fight choreography.

Tell me your thoughts on Diamond no Ace this week once you've seen it.

I agree with a lot of stuff you wrote. Especially, how the current Banri share similar traits as the old Banri. When Linda talked about promise towards the end of the episode and how Banri forgot she had a brother, it was touching.

I'm not sure what happened with kouko. Her cold was ill timed. I thought she might have overheard Banri and Linda's conversation on the balcony, but I'm not certain. This might have been better explained in the manga.

Cliffhanger this week was good. I think it's actually a strong point in current airing anime. Everybody is curious and there are no spoilers. It's great for discussions.

The preview looked like Kouko got back to normal, but its Banri's turn to act sick. I hope next week will meet the excitement this cliffhanger deserves.


Thoughts on Kill la Kill this week?

Golden Time episode 9 had some good stuff. But the ghost really frustrated me this week. Thoughts?

Speaking of the rest of the crew, we hardly know anything about them. Yet, the Mental Models are intriguing enough for me to not care about the others on board. The side characters are lucky to get a line or two in each episode, but this show isn't about them.
