Hajimemashita!
I started watching anime on 2013 of November, a friend told me to watch SAO, it was my very first anime. I got hooked and wanted more, my second was Clannad. It didn't intrigue as much as SAO but I follow it up with After Story, that was when it hit me. After finishing After Story, I watched a few other anime, it wasn't as great as SAO and Clannad. As I continue watching more and more my judgement on anime is different now. After watching over 200 titles in a year I had to rewatch some of my earlier anime and re-evaluate them. I can finish 12 episode series in a day and 24 episode anime in 2 days depending on if I like it or not.
I haven't really work on watching the older titles yet but I am slowly working my way towards it. Currently watching the modern time anime first then slowly progress my way backward. I know there are a lot of great titles back then but a sucker for great quality anime, hard to watch on lower quality.
I rate anime base off the overall story. There are anime with good/bad intro or good/bad ending, I don't rate it off that, its more towards the progression from start to finish. What did the story start off with and how did it end. What was accomplished. I'm not picky about the character development but a character can ruin the story for me, so its slightly affected.
My favorite type of anime would be something more of a relaxing type. I can't watching something too dark or mysterious, only because it bores me. Those dark and mysterious usually have a lot of dialogues instead things actually happening so I tend to not watch them. Eventually, I'll get to them but just not my top priority. I am more of a romance, school, comedy, adventure, or wizard shit type. If you have some recommendation that isn't in my list already, feel free to hit me with it.
