20thcb and punpun are my all time favourite mangas, I'm currently reading it but I haven't finished it yet.

I'll tell you my opinion on it once I finish it :p

that's what I was afraid of. I don't really like sol shows because most of them aren't based on a certain plot (unless it has some psychological aspects). Anyways, I'm liking the characters and the story even though it's really slow-paced.

does it focus on shogi games a lot? because I'm looking forward to learning the rules so that I can enjoy this show to its fullest.

some naoki's works are lacking a bit in execution especially the way how theyend and most of his works are plot-driven and character-driven at the same time. Actually, the conclusions are satisfying but in a complex way.



I'm currently reading pluto and billy bat, one is a psychological sci-fi and one is a monster's clone.

pluto is really similar to punpun, eva and lain and holds too many emotions, it studies the human nature but from a robotic perspective. I sometimes can't believe that naoki wrote it because it doesn't seem like his usual style of writing. pluto is a must-read especially if you like eva and lain.
