I thought this movie was amazing, others may not.
Angel's egg is an art film, I doesn't have much of a storyline and is heavily symbolic. The visuals of this film (designed by world renowned artist, Yoshitaka Amano) are amazing. The settings and the characters all look beautiful. It is a perfect example of anime as art.
The movie's dark, orchestral score matches the film perfectly.
Anyone who loves to analyze the symbolism of films will have a field day on this. It is open to interpretation with alot of religous imagery and interesting thematic elements.
Fans of slow moving, artistic dramas will love this, fans of fast read more

Wanted (Manga) add (All reviews)
Don't expect this manga to be a deep, intricatly plotted out shoujo romance, it's just a light, fun read.
The story may not be anything particularly special but it is fun. The main secrets of the book are told early on and the book is mainly made up of the pirate's adventures. It sort of reminds me of "Pirates of the Carribean" if it was a shoujo manga.
Hino's art is fantastic, the characters and their costumes look great.
Wanted is a good one volume work that might be worth your time if your looking for a light romantic shoujo manga to read.

This short one shot is one of my favourites.
Ito really shows why he's a master of horror manga in this short story.
The mystery of the fault lines draws you in, making you want to find out the answer the intruiging puzzle that are the shapes in the mountain.
For a one shot "Amigara" is paced well. The story moves fast, but waits to reveal its secrets.
Ito's art is interesting, and it fits the story well.
The only minor improvement that could have been made to this story was the characters personality. At times they seemed to be a little one dimensonal.
I enjoyed the manga a lot, read more
