Tsuki ga Kirei, Golden Time and Nagi no Asukara are all in your Plan to Watch list and i recommend them. Golden Time is from the same creator as Toradora in case you did not know.
Oh, there is also Gosick, that i watched not too long ago, it is not mainly a romance, but there is quite a bit of romance in it and it was really good.
Anyways, nice to see some new people getting into anime, the best way should be to start with genres you really like, then try other genres once in a while.
I didnt even think of even trying sports anime when i first got into anime, now there are some sports anime i do enjoy. Its not my favorite genre by any means, but yeah, the more anime you watch, the more you can appreciate different genres.
