Hello human. i have came in please. i apologies for coming in not invited to this holy place of yours. i have finish a show that ii really like. due to have few or not existing friends i needed people to talk about that show. i have went to the statistics page in the anime file in this site. i have noticed that you have completed the show relatively recently and you have a picture which means you care about your social status to some degree. i am a weird person. i am not an English native speaker. i am not an interesting individual. some think otherwise, but i do not think so, at least in terms ....ok i do not know what to say next so let us close on that. i like to discuss or at least share my appreciation of the show. i do not know how. every person is different and so not everyone is interested in talking the same way. luck is my only ally here. thanks and again i apologies. the show i am talking about is Uchuoten Kazoku, and in English it is called the eccentric family. have a good day. always drink water

Oooh hahaha what a coincidence! :O

Regarding sports anime, here are my top 5!
1) Haikyuu!!
2) Diamond no Ace
4) Kuroko no Basuke
5) Prince of Tennis

Admittedly I haven't actually finished Prince of Tennis, but I like it more than the other sports anime I haven't mentioned. I'm particularly fond of the first four I mentioned. :) I'm also really looking forward to DIVE!! and Ballroom e Youkoso! :D

First of all thank you very much. I never thought someone was actually waiting to read my reviews, it makes me super happy you said so.
And yes, I'm taking a hiatus from the site to focus more on my studies. I'll probably return for the summer season which is quite a shame since I thought the Spring season had some potential.
But anyways, I'm sorry you waited for my reviews that never came out... I got a bit overwhelmed by work :/ I'll try to do better next time :)

No, I haven't seen The Red Turtle yet, but I hear that it is very good. Thank you for the recommendation. I'm looking forward to watching it.

Thanks for replying!

My favourite directors are:
Stanley Kubrick, Ingmar Bergman, David Lynch, Jean-Pierre Melville, Krzysztof Kieslowski, Michelangelo Antonioni, Jean-Luc Godard, Lars von Trier, Andrei Tarkovsky, Akira Kurosawa, Masaki Kobayashi, Yasujiro Ozu, Hiroshi Teshigahara, and Hayao Miyazaki (of course!)

From the last few years, I would recommend Certified Copy (2010), Guilty of Romance (2011), Under the Skin (2013), Two Days, One Night (2014), Right Now, Wrong Then (2015), and Manchester by the Sea (2016). Since we're on MAL:), my favourite anime film from this year is In This Corner of the World.

WOW, great list of films. Au Hasard Balthazar is one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen, and I also loved A Man Escaped by Bresson. Also a huge fan of Bergman as well, with my favourites by him being Wild Strawberries, Persona, Shame, Hour of the Wolf, Cries and Whispers and Autumn Sonata. Mulholland Drive is definitely one of the best films of the 21st century, although my favourite film by Lynch would probably be his first, Eraserhead. Sorry if I sound over-excited, but I'm happy to finally see someone on MAL who is an avid film lover, and who has similar tastes in film as I do!
