I see, but I still usually want to see stuff in the release order as well as possible, kind of to see how the series has advanced even if different parts don't directly have anything to do with each other.

But if it's about DB, original and Z at least are pretty much directly related, so I feel like it's important to watch the original if you are going to watch DBZ. Then again you probably mean the even newer stuff which I can't really comment because I haven't seen them.

No problem, it's fine to take your time. Yea I haven't watched either of those. Both were planned for this year's anime watching challenges, but I changed them to different anime. But I've heard good stuff about both. The one for Baki I have on my plan to watch is not the start of the series though, so I'm likely not starting from that. I don't know why I put that one on my plan to watch. I usually watch everything on release order.

If you have something in mind, I'll happily take recommendations, but it's highly likely that I've already seen it, or already considering seeing it..

Saying what Durarara is about is a bit difficult because there are many plotlines going on at the same time. I guess the simplest, non spoiler way would be to say that it follows lives of people who live in Ikebukuro and weird supernatural things and events happening in the city. I saw Baccano in your plan to watch, I don't know how much you know about it, but Durarara is by the same manga author, so it's very similar in style.

I thought you would like Koutetsujou no Kabaneri, because it has very similar feeling and story to Shingeki no Kyojin, which you have rated high.

I will see if I can think of more anime you could like later. All I recommended now were a bit more darker in style, but maybe I'll think of some romance ones next!

Hello! I'll happily give you some recommendations that I think you could like. You actually already have most of what I feel like you would like on your plan to watch, so for now I don't think there's too much I can recommend. Of course if you want to give some more information, like what genres or what kind of anime you like, that would help a lot.

You seem to have the old Fruits Basket on your list, but I would recommend going straight to the remake. The first season is pretty much exactly the same as the old anime, but with better quality. And the rest of the seasons adapt the whole manga unlike the old version.

For others I'm just going to list here what I think you could like without further explanation as I'm really bad with explanations, but you can ask anything about any of them if you feel like.
