Hmm, I really think that the first season is hit or miss. The final arc is where the plot starts moving a bit, and is directly related to the themes and concepts explored season 2. Personally I think season one is not that great unless you can really connect to the characters on a conceptual level.
Well, have fun with the rest of it and keep me updated if you can.

Unfortunately living at the place I currently am has been a problem since I've gotten really sick here, and I'm getting attacked by fleas lol

Ouch, how did you sprain your ankle? Have you gone to see a doctor about it?

Due to moving around I haven't even been able to attend school lately, so I basically dropped out :/
but next semester things should be a lot more stabled and I should be able to attend part time hopefully.

Hey there! I've been good so far, finally got a place to settle for a bit since I was kind of forced to move. How are you?

That moment when you type up a lot and it gets all lost when you misclick on a link......

Ironically, the last year of high school was the easiest mainly because I didn't really have a math class which I always had difficulties with haha, but other than that it's been smooth sailing.
I think college is a lot more difficult than high school not because it's a lot more work or the test is hard, but just that the professors don't really teach and mainly tell you to read a chapter and then come back the next scheduled day for a test.

I loved the episode of KlK where in order to get through class they had to get through deadly obstacles, I just loved the randomness, I had so much fun during that episode.

I'm not that old :/ I'm only 21 lol, but lately I've been getting into 80s mech, but I can't get into 70s mech since it's all too silly.
That's nicely put, but I honestly can't see the fanservice like since Gainax, and the former staff that previously worked for Gainax now know as Trigger, had always put fanservice into their series since the 80s, and there's when they became known has "Bouncing Gainax". I think the most known in the 80s would Gunbuster(6 ep OVAs) which scene that blatant fan service. Gurren Lagann is also a known Bouncing Gainax
The transformation of KlK I think was taken from Cutey Honey since the director previously worked on RE: Cutie Honey, and the transformation is is also really similar

I've been pretty swell I suppose, but a bit busy with college and what not, and it's often been stressful :/ lol
And yourself?
Kill la Kill has been okay for me so far, I sometimes enjoy an episode and sometimes I don't haha
It has had some nice references here and there like the Ideon gauge Which is from this 80s mech show

I actually recently picked up KlK too after having it dropped at ep 6, and I like a bit more than before.

I kind of see it as PunPun finally, I guess, growing up? Maybe a coming of age? Idk.
He probably had to explain every inch of the whole story, though I wonder what happened to Aikos body since remember when he left it with the kids to go get his bag?
Yeah, I liked how the mangaka portrayed the way Punpun sees at himself, and his family as, like he's different from the rest.
PunPun had such amazing art, but to be honest I still don't understand what was the point in Pegasus in the story, and what he symbolized, but I am sad that Shimizu flew away with him :/ I know how much Seki loved him, but it really was a bit too much.
hahaha! I agree, I should tell people that, so I can convince them to read it!

To me the ending didn't bring much closure, but at least PunPun was able to get out of the whole murder situation.
Punpun had the same effect on me as well, it had this sort of realism when it came to situations and such. I was also able to relate to the characters as well, and it often made me reflect on life. Even after what PunPun went through I still think it's a beautiful series.
You should check out other works by Asano Isio too! They're all great too like nijigahara Holograph, and Solanin; you get the same kind of atmosphere in his other works, the artstyle is of course the same, and drama is just sooo good!
