Started watching anime seriously back in 2016, before that I was very on/off. Then summer 2k16 came around had alot of free time, discovered reddit (not really just never knew there were communities for everything) found r/anime, r/animesuggest and then my anime career took off and I haven't looked back since.
My first anime outside of like naruto and dragonball z was Sword Art Online and I still love it (fight me). After SAO I went on a Isekai trash run and I loved every moment of it :). After that I went on Romcom run and so on and on. I recently discovered MAL, so my anime list doesn't reflect what I've truly watched I update almost every day.
Been reading manga a while now. I really disliked manga for a long time. My main reason was how can you read a fight or look at still drawings and get hyped (don't worry this way of thinking has completely changed for me ). I don't really have a specific go to genre I enjoy, so I'll read any genre as long as it's a good story.
If you see me on forums add me and send suggestions for manga or anime it'll be completely appreciated :). BTW No game NO Life, Classroom of the Elite, and One Piece are probably my all time favs.
No idea tbh. I've just rechecked and it still is 50$ for shipping for their lim ed bakemonogatari bd. Hmm the shipping itself might be free tou and those 50 bucks could be import fees.
Oh yeah. Rightstuf had some nice offers and amazing exclusive releases. Wish the shipping was less expensive for me. I really wanted their Monogatari releases, but for 3 bds it was close to 100e last time I've checked.
Oh yeah, definitely. Can relate to that. I remember r/mangacollectors had like 10k members when I joined it and it sits at 1.3m atm. Plus I couldn't even find 4 empty seats to watch the Jujutsu Kaisen movie on the launching day 2 weeks ahead considering that this has been the 2nd anime movie we get in theaters (excluding film festivals, indie cinemas and some special screenings). Not mad that's it's got so popular.
And to be completely honest me still being in Uni and not affording to buy as much manga as I would have liked a few years ago has also played a big part.
If you like comedy slice of life and isekai I think you will enjoy fantasy bishoujo. I'm liking it so far but My dress up darling is probably my favorite!
I hope you enjoy all the anime your watching and have a great day :D
I’ve been rlly enjoying my dress up darling so far! I love Kitagawa and Gojo sm! I’m also watching Sasaki to Miyano, which is the anime adaptation of my favorite manga. Also watching Fantasy Bishoujo, I think it’s pretty funny, but I like the other two shows better!
