We spoke about City Hunter awhile back and I gotta say, for all its flaws in the first season it really improves in later iterations. Season 2 is longer which means more filler but the non-filler content is great. Season 3 is kind of like the first season except the writing's a looooooot better. So you know, just giving you the good word and that if you liked the show but wished it was executed better, everything after season 1 does that if you're willing to give it a shot.

I doubt it
The fan base here is too small even if it only a proportion

Oh Right, I had planned to watch Yakusoku no Neverland at some point, but i think i was waiting for it it finish airing, will have to check up on where that has got to.

I did start watching Mob Psycho 100 II, but just got distracted with other things ~ I should really go back and finish it up :p

To be honest i haven't really kept up very well with the news surrounding the new Pokemon games other than the memes i see. As much as i adore the Pokemon world, and everything encompassing it i can't help but feel that Ive slowly been drifting away from the more recent expansions.

Actually the reason i asked about the switch is that Ive just started playing (as of it's release a couple days ago) Oninaki, and am actually really enjoying it.

The past 6 months have been a bit of a roller coaster, but i won't bore you with the details.

Over those ~6 months i really haven't kept up with seasonal anime, or Anime at all really ( other than binging Naruto Shippuden at night). Is there anything in your opinion that i have missed out on, that i should watch?

Also, i cannot remember where we have talked about it in the past, but do you have a Nintendo Switch?

I've heard of GTO multiple times, the premise has always interested me but not enough to watch it over some of the other options. So much goddamn anime to explore, it gets hard to choose what to watch when you only have so much time to watch them :^(
I think City Hunter has a solid formula but it plays it way too safe to really amount to something great. It could be the essential action detective anime if it went for something slightly grittier. I've heard Lupin did the same in the remakes going for a grittier route with less filler but I haven't seen that series yet, I feel like City Hunter wants to follow in its footsteps in many ways just by looking at the characters and premise but plays it way too safely.
Gakuen Senki Muryou looks interesting though, love me some early 2000's anime. Almost sounds like an anime about the hardcore conspiracies you hear about on the internet which is great shit, though I imagine it isn't presented in the way I'm imagining.
Tad disappointed to hear that about Seikai no Monshou. Character driven sci-fi/space operas are (evidently) my shit so I'd like to see another gem in the genre. I still might give it a shot in the future to see if my opinions on it differ
