I saw the special before I saw the series, so I was already "dosed" into Rebecca. Her character bothered me, but a new character being there didn't bother me. It would have been great if they put in a strong female character people could relate to. I don't blame any of the other characters. Everything was used as a type-cast to be lazy with how Lupin developed. My biggest disappointing event was when Lupin went to prison, his plan to get out was so illabrate and perfect I wanted to gag. And, his friends were just sitting waiting on him, instead of going to save him. Either they should have saved him, or they should have beenshown going back to what they were doing. This is the first series I've seen where they all solely depend on him for jobs. They all have their own line of work and they always split up, as you saw in the original and some others.

I was the first announcement for part 5, but this is the first time image I'm seeing. I don't know what to think of that. Lupin is all about the disguises, so I hope this means it will be fun.

Thanks for the validation. No one has been mean to me about my views, but its sad to see a series that's so lazy in character writing and direction get such help acclaim. Lupin being the only one that shines and being everyone's end-all problem solver is boring and lazy, in opinion. I'm glad you were inspired to seek out and watch the original for yourself!

Most of the rewatched are shorts of few minutes with only one episode, then the "few" long titles I have rewatched the most are old anime I watched as a child, like many '80s and '90s titles. I did also a "marathon" watching for years, until 2013. Actually I sporadically watch something, I'm taking long stops these last years.

Hahaha sounds very interesting, but for the tv show I'll have to wait, cause now I'm on a trip and watching anime here is not as easy as in my country. But maybe I'll read Unlimited for now.

It's good to know that the anime also includes that part, otherwise the difference between anime and manga would have been huge.

I got into ZKC because I read a random post with a picture showing 1 page of then manga, and the author was asking if the series was still being published. I didn't know, but I liked the image and asked the author about the series; he gave me a brief description and told me he really recommended this manga, so I wanted to give it a try; at that moment I had some other series to complete so I was hesitating about reading it, but once I started I couldn't stop and right until now I have read the manga twice and I have bought almost 40 volumes of the original version, including limited editions xD.

I also hope for this manga to end well, and I'm also affraid beacuse I have seen other series from this genre to end in a bad way.

I haven't checked GSM from this author, but there are a lot of good reviews about this series so maybe in the future I'll take a look, and if so I'll probably choose the manga version.

I think it's good, but the story is different and the main point (Ikyuugo's prediction), was removed, at least so far. Looks like they didn't think in animating the whole manga for some reason, and because of that, they couldn't add that part because it would leave the anime incomplete at some point, since the manga is still being published.

I think both, manga an anime make a wonderful job introducing the story, but each of them with their own story. On one hand you have the anime which seems to be intended for all ages, so it tries to explain the story in an easier way and a little bit less intense, so everyone can enjoy it. On the other hand you have the manga, which exposes everything with its own style, without worrying about who is the one reading, with nothing less but, at the same time, nothing more than the perfect amount of severity the reader needs to feel what the characters are feeling.

You can check this in chapters 7 and 8, and its equivalent in anime; when the children and minamoto are kidnapped by the normal people, both handle the story in a beautiful way, but you can notice the manga has a greater seriousness on it.

At the end of the day I really like both. It is always wonderful to see those guys animated, and the design is very good.

As for Cyborg 009. I haven't finished watching the movie you listed being RE Cyborg but I have seen the newest Call of Justice 10 ep/movie series. In these cgi anime by Production IG these versions carry a more serious approach dealing with some religious elements but requires some knowledge of the characters. I recommend watching the 2001 anime 1st before watching these as they throw you in expecting the audience to be familiar with the cast & seeing them change in a darker interpretation. Call Of Justice kind of acts as a possible final arc to the series so it should be seen last. Note RE Cyborg & Call Of Justice don't connect with each other; they're both stand alone stories. There's also a cool crossover in Cyborg 009 Vs Devilman; 3 ep OVA.

Hello. The Cutie Honey & Cyborg 009 series mostly have different continuities with different visual styles so you could watch them in almost any order. The 1973 Cutie Honey gives a better insight on the main character's introduction in the 1st EP but the show doesn't have a conclusion; open ended. What makes the original unique are the psychedelic visuals & groovy soundtrack but it's also the most violent version of the character. This version would be redone in a 3 EP ova RE:Cutie Honey which is close to the style of Kill La Kill. RE is also the version which shows nudity. There's also a 2018 anime in the works called Cutie Honey Universe which seems to borrow the style of the 70s & RE. Shin Cutey Honey occurs after an unspecified time skip so Honey is fighting a different group of villains & has a bit darker tone while being the 1st version to introduce nudity. There's also Cutie Honey Flash which is the "Sailor Moon" version of the show. You can watch Shin Cutey Honey without seeing the original but I do recommend checking them out. A friend of mine made several vids titled Cutie Honey Killcount which shows the different art styles and depiction of the character.

Top 50...that is going be tough. Most are saying 8.45 might be the ending number.
As for the weighted score, you'd have to talk to ZeeBoss about that. The methods regrading weighted scores isn't really my forte. But what it is suppose to do is show you something beyond the actual score. For weeks Mahoutsukai no Yome was8.58, not moving at all. It finally moved this week down. So in a weighted sense logically it would be much lower.
