If you liked paprika you should try perfect blue. The animation isn't as good, but the movie as a whole is even better.
If you liked spirited away, maybe try Princess Mononoke or Nausicaa of the valley of the wind. They are some of his best films imo.
If you like ghost in the shell, you'll probably like Akira. Both were futuristic, sort of dystopian, deep movies.

The story was amazing and excited. But it also streesful.

Here is my top 5 list
1. Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu - amazing story pacing, character introduction, Oscar worthy voice acting (JAP), pin point music to match scenes, amazing shots, obsessions with details, cliffhangers good for reacts, high budget show, very well directed, it is different from all other shows you watched, it´s getting more popular overtime, a bit more focus heavy show, but i guess you are used to from AoT, DN
2. Code Geass -similar do Death Note, very different art style, amazing music, amazing ride full of smart writing

4. Monster - not popular, but amazing realistic story writing like no other, old show with lower budget, but this story writing is Oscar worthy and i´m sure we will hear about this anime in the future
5. Kaiji best gambling anime, but it is for men so it´s not popular at all to react, but it has very good writing and nice shots
First 36 episodes of 1999 or first 26 of 2011. Yeah, 10 episodes worth is cut out.
