It has pretty good animation for not being an official show.
The episodes are 12-14 minutes long, which I honestly like.
They have a lot of cameos even when they are not necessary.
Other than that, it is only worth watching if you are already a fan of Touhou (which should be a given).
Just don't go into it with expectations of a whole show, but rather a fan adaptation of events.
My main complaint is that they made literally everybody naked at the end of the last episode. I don't care if characters are hundreds of years old; they look like kids.

━━━The Good━━━
Animation: The animation is really good and consistent. It kind of has to be since the show relies on the world building a lot with different locations peaking interests. Sound: The music carries a lot of the show. The SFX is also really well done with the characters moving around a lot using different tools and such. Characters: The main characters are really memorable. Their designs are also really good. Story: The story is the best part of the show kind of hooking you to keep watching. Once you start it the story will stay in the back of your mind until you watch the next episode. ... Aug 15, 2025

There really isn't anything like it so it stands out from the average 12 episode slop.
Animation: It's really solid. Most of the time there is not a lot of movements so great backgrounds make the world interesting even when nothing is going on. The animation is also very consistent (kind of expected). Sound: The music is great, but what really adds a ... |
