Why hello there! My name is Leslie :) My brother was the one who introduced me to anime. I used to be obsessed with Pokemon (still kinda am…) and that was the first actual anime I ever watched, because it was on TV. As I got a bit older, I noticed that my brother had lots of anime posters on his door. I really wanted to watch one, so I looked for a poster with a really cute girl on it, and ended up choosing Chii from Chobits. I then searched the beautiful google, and stared watching it on some random Japanese website I found. I quite liked it! The art style particularly drew me in. That Christmas, my brother made me a DVD with all the Chobits episodes on it, and another show he thought I'd like, which was Ichigo Mashimaro. Today I love anime, and watch it whenever I have the time. However most shows tend to be from my brothers completed list ;)
I tend to like most genres of anime, but some of my favourites are romance and slice of life shows (what can you expect, I’m a girl!) But I also really like action, mecha, and sci-fi anime, like Fullmetal, Code Geass, and many more :) Check out my list if you want to see what other kinds of shows I’m into.
I have many other interests. I love to sing and act, and am in many local theatre productions. I am currently studying in music, doing Conservatory of Music exams for Voice and Piano. I am currently in Grade 7 for Voice and grade 7 for Piano, and am also working on my level 3 Harmony for theory. Another one of my hobbies is drawing manga/anime. I don’t do it as much as I used to, but I still really enjoy it!
You can also check out my brother’s anime list. His username is jeff537665. He has a lot more anime then me, but I plan to catch up someday!
I love meeting new people! So feel free to comment on my profile of message me anytime :) You can send me a friend request if you’d like, but I’d prefer getting to know you first! I don't bite, so chat me up!
To keep more organized, I keep tabs of where I watch my shows, so if on my list you notice letters, they mean,
W: i watched online
O: I own the show
D: I downloaded the show
Over the years, I've have noticed that I’m a bit of a wuss when it comes to rating shows. I normally find a redeeming quality in everything, and it makes me want to give it a higher rating than it deserves. Thus is why you don’t see very many shoes rated under a 6 on my list. However, I am very particular when It comes to giving a show a 10. If I rated a show a 10, then it means that I thoroughly enjoyed every minuite of it, and when it ended, I did not know what to do with my life… I have to have had a personal connection with the show, whether it be with the characters or the story, something that made me want to tell everyone about its amazing content. This also normally means that the show made me cry… :’)
