I will try to keep it short, so first of all, this series made me laugh. Not just thinking it was funny, but actually laughing out loud. That being said, many of the laughing points are very much so something that really isn't funny if you haven't lived in Japan for quite a while. The series make fun of and jokes around stereotypes and prejudiced thinking, while generally being quite funny from mostly a "big city" perspective.
Kuma miko is not a series you should watch for character development, happy endings or deep meanings, although the art is pretty good. Generally speaking, the first couple of
episodes probably was the funniest.
If you think that inside (Japan) jokes are funny, you don't mind the lack of fulfilment storywise and you are not all that touchy about making fun of stereotypes or the countryside just for the heck of it, I think this series would be something you would like :)
