Both have the familliar " reversed map " style , obtaining treasures , raising skill features, even though hunter x hunter is a bigger and a more expanding anime
Don't try to be hardball against the ladie's , girls with guns before even the term exsisted back then and both have their hands full to solve the case whatever the outcome, and both have some comedic moments between them even if Burn up W has more ecchi to it . love it
25TH anniv. for showing the best of the girls v.s best of the boys, both shows still holding up today in my opinion.
Despite both being mecha anime, They as well portrait as sort of a remake hommage of the original serie's. in gundam's case mobile suit was sort of a hommage to the 25th anniv. charachter called Casval rem daikun ( a.k.a the red comet) u can see the simmilarity with the Zechs marquise persona , the helmet , the clothing , the posture.
Both are very magical anime ova's from the 90's and both have that RPG adventure sense , the wataru ova don't use mecha's this time more like magical creature's . Both have been released as a game on the famicon system in japan, and both revolve about important artifacts to revive certain deity's
Small mecha fighters and their pilots fighting against evil overlords, both of them have a more chibi look compared to macross and gundam, and both are very rare to get on dvd!
Not for the weakhearted!!!!! this is 18+ material if it comes to oldskool demon-occult horror anime. Both have the story about demondeity's or even demon kings revivals into a chosen persons body with all the ancient rituals, scaryness and intense bloodshed along the way and of some WTF moments, u have been warned
a lot of space ova's in the 80's and realy 90's had a intense space music intro, heavy synthesizer and everything, both these have that beside having a female star in the show ( god i love that from oldskool stuff) make them look badass
if there is one thing i really get crummy eyes from its that both these ova's in the intro it shows chara or things that NEVER FUCKING HAPPEN in the anime itself!!!!!!!!!!, for example locke: lord leon shows 4 charachters in the intro, cornelia, the young luitenant ( both from the movie) a girl named amazona and a masked villain that walked straight out of the recording studio of saint seiya, and they DON'T apppear. Angel densetsu, one hel of a treat to watch BUT DON'T SHOW ITS WINGS IN THE INTRO WHEN THEY NEVER BLOODY APPEAR IN THE ANIME!!! to say some of the flaws of oldskool anime i love and collect to death ):
both have a fantasy like dark ages genre setting, and both main villians are too lazy so their headquarters are mobile, in amon saga its a giant turtle with a castle on top, in mozaicka its a giant floating statue head with a castle on top, both heroe's are rectifying for the mistakes that their father or ancestor had to endure thanks to higher ranks, and both have a non white knight look despite their white hair.
Will someone PLEASE think of the children?? if u put away the extraterrestial storyline of Layzner, it pretty much comes down as kids in warfare that survive by the skin of their teeth, both refer that! with mecha and all!
School ruffians that wanna have a larger piece of the schoolgang dominance, both have that violent and manly student persona manner, in the case of chameleon though it has a bit more funny moments for the main charachter, but has very bloody fights nevertheless and the sort of dark humor that only the japanese can do
the japanese always had a love for motorcycles, and they clearly showing that in ova's back in the 80's, mixing it with mecha elements, bubblegum crisis has a motoroid cycle that Priss ownes , Shogo has a 'Bahamut"motortcycle that is a small computer terminal as well, and both their bikes are red coloured, same as in Akira
both have an alien invasion of beings that are actually parasite's, seeking the best lifeform on the planet to take over and survive. The only difference is that in tekkeman blade, there is no clear or real origin of the invaders, only that they wandered space, in macross SE 3 ( robotech the new generation) they have a clear and open storyline about the invaders origin, and even in some way that humans can communicate with them. both are nice and oldskool
PROTECT YOUR ENVIROMENT!! Earth day before the start of the nausica movie, there is an logo of the WWF ( world wildlife foundation) wich appreantly used this movie as a promotional 'eyeopener'. both hokuto no ken and nausica storyline place after humanity ravaged the earth wether its a nuclear fallout or a global war, but more in naucsica case there is an effort to discover to revive the earth and let the humans learn from their mistake
Kid-friendly shows that never saw the light of day in Europe.... but still both are damn funny and are full with colourfull chara and has an uplifting feel to it
basically these 2 serie's were business rivalry's biggest assets , Toei Animation v.s Sunrise inc. but both couln'd help itself to make a serie in the trend of the rpg craze back then and both serie's left a great impact in anime, especially with the younger audience, dragonball has a bit more popularity advantage's but in Japan Wataru was/is a very big name , and have chibilike charachters, in dragonball only some chara are chibi
ichi the killer is a more violent and sickening orientated mob anime than don and revolves more around 1 killer than the actual gang , don first give's attention to 2 charachters, but both have the mobster like feel to it and gangfights
Badass turf wars the japanese way, Osu!! karate bu is more orientated at schoolgangs than Don: Gokudou suikoden , but both have the groupgang fighting and territorial disputes, Don is more mature and serious and both show some extreme violence the way u don;t see it anymore
being from the same company, to me the simmilair thing lies in the enemy;s army suit design , in both gundam and votoms the enemy's army suits are derived and parly inspired by the uniforms from ww2, mainly the german designs and because japan was sadly part of the back then axis of evil!
THEY HATE BEING POOR!!!!! such is the unfortunate lifestyle wich is simmilair between both Maris and Elle Ragu , both have immense strength and wrestling inspired moves , though elle mostly use kicks. And both are working their asses off to get debtclear ( wich in a lot of cases it does.nt happen) and thats because they spent it too fast, poor poor girls ):
Both are very colourfull kids anime that give's an kid and familly friendly feel to it , though that ahiru no quack ( alfred j.kwak) had more darker storyline and portrait events from real history , magical hat has a more fun side to it and is more fantasylike , both are aired in 1989. fun fun fun
fantasy ,magical items or artifacts or creatures, kidfriendly enviroment and in wataru´s case more chibi-like charachters, and both have an RPG like contents. classic oldskool stuff thats very hard to collect in the westeren world
A-ko V.S Maris, over the top fights, superior strength , girls , and wrestling move's who will win?? Thanosian against the strongest schoolgirl on earth place ur bets in now!!!!
hommage to the popculture a la 1985
i demand a crossover between those 2! let them DUKE IT OUT!!!!! espers, interstellair traveling 1980's hairstyle powerfull illusions and barriers psychedelic esper v.s esper(s) fights 100& sci-fi orientated anime ova's that in the 80's was a special thing
both anime are adapted from what started out as rpg videogames ( dragonquest 1986) and lodoss war ( 1986) on the Famicon and PC-NEC engine system. both have a very familliar feel like the chara you meet at wich place, the items u get, the order of the bosses and the extra tranings u get to get more powerfull, pure rpg elements and oldskool fun
both have mainly ladies as the main focused charachters, and have the use to fight in mechasuits of various types and weaponry, MAPS differs a bit in how the setup is, Sakura taisen has those jump-in-the-cabin models MAPS has extraterrestial models that physically and mentally connects to the pilot ( almost like Lost universe) and MAPS is far out the most violent. :)
The worst of the worst, the toughest of the toughest, both share the all badass outcasts reputation and ofc the rivaling schools fights, only in sakigake the diffrence is that classmates are training to be the baddest motherfuckers on the planet and its is more martialarts orientated than kyou kara ore wa!!
Both are set in the Warring States era and have a relationship with some of the most (in)famous events in Japanese history, though Hakkenden is more based on real lived characters, and have Nobunaga as the main villain that lived during the time!
old skool fantasy anime that both have a master magician that suddenly comes in a unusual situation , like Fam and Ihrlie use magic and chance temporarly in a mouse,in master chivas case is that he got trapped and share his minion,s body.once again, unusual situations
a lot of ova's in the 80's and 90's were based on futuristic idea's and cyberpunk movie's, with groundbreaking concepst like these 2 ova's . hiatus or not, golden classics!
both anime are to many thats is unfinished too soon, but its still interesting to imagine what potential both could have been in if it found more inspiration to finish it, back in the old days it was you get what you get!!!
2 of the best jetfighteranime classics out there. except for the concept that macross is a more ´universal´matter, and have state of the art tech. Betrayal, check Rilvalry, check Conflicts, sort of but in macross a new machine cause the real trouble, area 88 shows a real conflicts like in real life. Hot chick in the centre of it all, Double check that!!
My birthday recomm. Aspect of war, these 2 depict the horrible truth of war in space, and the ones who cause it for numerous reasons. both are from back in the days were at least idea´s were made!
in both serie´s a lot of chinese influence has been taken from folklore, mystisyscm, and ofc, dragons that plays a huge role , either worshipping like in ROTK or showing the respectfull might in sohryuden, in asia it holds a near god like status!
from space opera to fantasy opera, both started out as computergames before it was made into anime! and they have nice opera music , enjoy!
as i like to call then `computergames anime´ both have an RPG like adventure and look to it like Wataru( 1987) because it has those chibilike charachters, and both have to face an formidable enemy before a treasure is in sight, Damn funny and its for all ages!
Though Blue Seed was way more populair than Green Legend Ran, both have plantlike enemies to fight. and the outcome is a bit unexpected
It's Saturday night. That means you get unimaginable violence, gore, atrocity, and armored characters served '80s '90s style with a nice bloody saucy aftertaste! Bon appetite!
some of the BEST fantasy anime of the 90´s,Record of lodoss war was the footnote of the genre, Slayers gave more popularity to it, and both are still well known among older fans!
Both are hardcore police anime, where violence, gore, and nudity are shown as bloody hell!!! These anime are only for the older audience with titanium stomaches and anime veterans!
oldskool fantasy based anime´s with some simmilair style in the animation for its time.Slayers has like 5 main members in the cast , Fam& Ihrlie as a duo could easy have been sort of ´missing slayer members´ if your talking by personality ofc , it would be great to put them in a crossover!
i´m pretty sure that both have the same martial -arts voice-over dude when it comes to both explaining the heroes and villians main techniques! only i don´t know the name who was the voice over sadly
Both have the same aspect in which anime people's lives are controlled by computers and later on, rebel against it. Megazone 23 rebels from the underground, while Grey: Digital Target rebels above ground. Megazone 23 is friggin cooler though.
the simmilarity lies in the animation, especially the male face drawings, and both takes place in the ( fictional) tokugawa era by storyline , puppet princess is more enjoyable though!
both classics from my childhood with that over the top police action comedy moments, and both are fighting heavyloaded criminals, only dominion brings out the tanks, and Burn up at moments bring out the BIG GUNS
both are HARD TO GET ANIME! and both are rpgbased, mostly dragon quest since its inspired by the videogame, the usual fantasy-rpg type´s of anime , and both have that kind of ´chibi ´style to it.
oldskool fantasy anime is the best!! like Record of lodoss war (1990) both have the ingredients that have made it obscure in the fantasy genre , with an dark storyline attached to it, something i haven´t seen in a long time
NOT EVEN FOR 18 + both involes crime syndicates at war and Sick assasins to do the dirty job, and both have that ´ordinary person that has the killing skill´ type. cruel and violent!!!
both are considered as de Creme de la creme of samurai anime, by time setting( edo) , clans, fighting skills , gore, violent swordfights ect. also it very reflects about how japan was in the tokugawa era!
These anime are NOT for scaredy cats. These late 1980s OVAs from back then knew how to scare kids and adults alike—WAY more than today's anime series or OVAs. Both are still considered obscure cult classics among older anime fans!
Girls with big guns traveling in space working for the gov. getting paid to do dirty jobs, Dirty pair is more on the comedy side while Iria:Zeiram the animation goes on a far darker and more violent side. like them both!!
well, look at the animation, both have in a big part supernatural content in the movie´s, and both ae abouth the freedom of ppl that are ´rejected´ by society because they have been considered an esper ( locke) or a mu ( terra e....) psychic humanlike creature´s. boht i think are truly space opera gems
self made recipe :although i have only seen the y´s trailer, it seems that both have the fantasy sorcery sauce as the main thing in a la record of lodoss war salad , dipped with a touch of in y´s case a little anime adaptation, and ofc as the dessert a beautiful sweet flavored princess to be saved!(no i don't go to far ) :(
both are about the struggle of mankind during-after interplanetary colonization, and the ´dictatorship´, wars and the price of their freedom thei long for ! cultclassics
Not for kids: both have that´heavy psychological´mindfucks that deflects of the main charachter about pretty everything he/she goes through, especially for an oldskool masterpiece like perfect blue wich goes more on the ´thriller´side, Ichi the killer is more violent on a gore side wich goes out of control, i like them both!!!
both are from the haydays of the cyberpunk anime era, Female cyborgs are the main charachters, while both are considered a ´masterpiece´ that still stands today with mature animefans, as well the inspirations to make such extraordinary artworks
Both are revivals, remakes of the 1970´s t.v shows it spawned off, personaly these 2 are the very FEW anime remakes that i like , beside´s that it keeps both intriged story´s mostly unchanged like the Original one´s !!!
what both have in common is that both are wellknown for their longrunning franchise and redefined the mecha-genre till this day (Gundam 1979-2013),( Macross 1982'-2013) and are timeless classics!
Same content mainly with demons and horrorelements, though both stories are decades apart from each other. Both give sort of the same disgusting and creepy feeling time to time! Big like from me.
Both have the martial arts content WITHOUT too much supernatural powers, osu!! Karate Bu is more comedy orientated than VF, but the way of fighting in both can be somewhat brutal. For many fans Osu! Karate Bu is some sort of an unknown marial arts gem which had good potential to please fighting anime fans.
same time setting darkage style, both have the conflicts that has to be solved, and their own personal struggle, loads of spells , flying dragons, inhuman opponents both have those fairytail like ladies, or elves. reccom if ur a fantasy anime fan ofc
Similar in making the 3 seperate cyber police stories like it had in some '80s '90s OVAs. Shocking cyberplots, sick villians and lots of dark traits and betrayal wich the future police has is hands full on. Recommended for sci-fi fans.
Spotlight on the ladies, space storie´s , 1980´s cheesy voiceovers , funny and at some parts really intense plots, but not over the top :)
Both having same sort of "martial arts" power and training development except Flame of Recca is more supernatural and historical ortientated. Both have those all familiar tournament fights, but in Hunter x Hunter they are more refined. Classic!
both chara are ´cut out´for the job, being demons or vampire´s , and have some damn filthy case up their nose, both decade´s apart from eachother and were just a one-time project
the fantasy-comedy genre is overwhelmly simmilair at both of these, lots of scorcery, swordfights, re-eincarnations and lots of funny moments what can be enjoyed with the whole fammily.
take´s place in feudal japan, the time were ppl believed in ´supersticious ´ beings and demonic prophecys and apperances. both this have it in common, but most of all its nobunaga in both as the main villian!
Although Jojo's Adventure is more violent and badass, Baki goes far as well as '90s anime is concerned in the martial arts way! and lots of men are fighting here!
simmilair in the supernatural and slight occult content, and yes ppl, NO REMAKE OR WHATSOEVER from both this anime, they just stays as it is :) just my two cents.
girls as the main persona going , or are in outer space with beside the action, those oldskool ecchi moments and standouts that will never get old. ova´s like these are just sadly distant memorie´s , its not made anymore like this and i miss it!
From an era were CUDDLY girls were innocent but are tough as nails, AND THATS WHY they are worty in these anime as the main persona! with all the sugarcoating and all :)
Same in the supernatural and fantasy content, just like the record of lodoss war franchise, with an nice attachable storyline and more , the way its not made anymore in decade´s sadly , i miss these kind of serie´s.
Similar in the usual and enjoyable stuff back then: reincarnations, colorful armors with golden armor as final upgrade, flashy fights, goddesses to protect, etc.
These long, '80s space movies have things like unpredictable enemies, star traveling, extraterrestrial side-characters, and blasting fights (not space fights rather) in common. Also, both main characters are considered legendary in their part of the universe.
enhanced villians, a lot of shooting going on, both have the looking for ímmortality´ as an ambitious storyline, not too complex, just enjoyable, and i like it ok, THERE U HAVE IT! :)
Both are remakes of the '70s robot genre series. Both are "white knights" but not similar in storyline or character relations. Both are enjoyable old-school anime—the way it's not done anymore, sadly.
unrelated in the videogame genre, but very famous in the fighting genre for years on end in anime, and yes ppl i like retro fighting anime a lot as back in the days stuff was playable in the arcadehalls
both have their relation in videogames, gradius for the sega console, arcade, while orphen was more for the psx, ps2 as an rpglike game released, used to play both back in the days!!
BLOODSUCKERS! and they do their job well in the human world , both simmilair in the clothing style, wide top hat, long capelike jackets, handgloves, dressed mostly in 1 color, put their service to humans and have terrifying skills!
For the lovers of mecha anime, BIG BIG robots and warfare like the way it should be according to these 2 oldskool gems, more similair in the genre and popularity , and longrunning serie´s
´89 samurai anime´s thats bloody and violent as hell, damn scary at parts, but both have the demonic resurrection storyline like they don´t make it anymore these days sadly.
Similar in the dementia/psychological content and are good if you want to be in a vegative state after watching both of these. In my opinion, they also have a slight thriller feel to them.
OCCULT & DEMONIC as hell, with some very intense and scary scenes in there the way it was made back then is awesome! not for the weakhearted 12,16+, and both main chara. have an spititual guideline to duty! EXTERMINATION of devils!
Both are about solving cybercrime and have to do with taking people out who piss on the force dominion tank. One is more on a lighter, funnier note, but both have an evolving, dark background story to them.
Both about ppl that get involved in a very unusual mechanic situation, wich absolutly in the oldskool way pulls out all the damn stops, It aint over till its over eh!
Recommended for people who still can make time these days to see historical, long-lasting samurai anime movies and who like this genre.
Both have the RPG genre in the anime, spells, lots of magic, swords, mistresses to be saved, magical beasts and of course, those funny "You f**ked it up" moments!!
Differs in some content and animation but in both anime the animals are the REAL stars of the show. In Ahiru no Quack (Alfred J. Kwak in Dutch), everyday life is taken shape in animal forms.
Both space opera classics in the same league with captian cobra! interstellar spacefights, personal struggle and story´s, millitay oppresion and the whole lot! more it was becoming a populair genre in the 80´s!
Short cyberpunk story´s, simmilair animation , the whole pakage is there, mis-use of technology, filthy villians, cybercrime, blood, dark background story, and cultclassics! there u have it!
Same runtime, same genres, same concept, and same, well, seething bloody fights of course where the winner takes all; in some case even almost a life in Baki's case!
Both are animal anime, and Ahiru no Quack holds a special place in my heart! It is the first anime I had ever seen on Dutch TV that I saw as a kid together with my older sister in '89, but both were my kind of childhood series.
Epic fantasy worlds, swords, spells, princesess who need to be saved. Legend of Chrystania is an alternate world setting of Lodoss War, but both have genres in common.
These two anime can almost be termed space operas. They're both massive on action, heavy on violence and deep, very deep in space! They aren't like the current crop of anime sadly.
Battle against the machine´s, 1980´s style both in a destroyed future earth , the way they don´t make it anymore sadly
Outher space dictatorship, settlements and dissolusional utopia´s an more, Both are cultclassics that most sadly is forgotten over time.
fantasy, spells, magical beasts and dragons! both have an epic feal to it , especially lodoss war, from the oldskool videogame!
both are supernatural and occult as hell, the way u don´t see it anymore, kujakuou give´s somewhat of ancient japanese spiritualism a place in the story, and yeah , nice obscure ova´classics!
Hail to BOTH mecha-twisted sci-fi and more masterpieces! OLDSKOOL and original, handdrawn and a ending that make sense compared to most 21st century anime! BOTH are just goldmine's
both are too simmilair u can´t deny it, same animation look, white armor design, both have golden armor as an upgrade, would have been good merchandise as models beside the anime, both my favs
oldskool anime, violent and vicious as hell, both are simmilar in the armor and the explicit unscensored gore scene´s that u don´t see anymore in anime today! and both are cultclassics!
fighting till u drop dead , thats what these both represent , and with a supernatural touch to it were lots of blood gets spilled , only recommended for the mature anime fans
Both are the continuation in the early "girls with guns saga" (the term didn't exist back then). Mainly girls are in the center of the story, and both their authoritarian handlings of stuff haven't changed much, but it's still funny though.
same in good music tracks and sci/fi story´s, but macross flashback 2012 is more directed to music compared to Megazone, and an macross compilation of previous events in that timeline
both have great comedy moments and mainly have an adventerous storyline mixed off with supernatural fights , great personalitys and both have LOTS of magic.
Once again, oldskool 90´s armored heroes try to save the day, both have that , but both also having a very dark background mainly the heroe´s in the story
Ladies that take authority quite serious, BOTH changing with funny cheesy moments,80´s 90´s style , as well as that serie´s like this , you don´t see it anymore these days.... pretty sad.
Vicious otherworldy armored warriors, warning: 18+Not for young kids these days that are weakhearted! one anime ripped a bit of the other but u can see the simmilarity in it, and this genre was quite wellknown in japan those days!
Similar in the context that BOTH are not for the weakhearted. They both involve people that become involved with demons who then become demon slayers and sometimes are in a very unusual situations. Both are good, old-school anime!
Serie´s that both were in their PRIMETIME, Genre is on and off simmilair to eachother but both involve the sort of ´back then´the populair 1980's mecha-genre, bigtime! and runtime of both is longlasting as well!
Both are from Toei Animation. Hokuto No ken influenced Dragonball Z majorly, in the supernatural and martial arts content Both serie´s were higly populair, and still are No rushed story´s , leftovers or crappy endings like Most of everyday anime Both serie´s , THEY NEED MORE PRAISE!!!
80´space opera that both earned their name a long time ago, but for thr older audience still somewhat both cult classiscs
Dark ages in both anime as the main content, supernatural or just physical brutal figths, one that acts like an bastard and another one thats just goe´s berserk overall, NOT for the weakhearted!
both are vampire story´s , although i pefer the last vampire WAY more than black blood brothers as an masterpiece, still both are simmilarity in the ´vampire ´genre and earned their name, Especially Blood, the last vampire.
Both anime has ladies that are ORDERED to do their job, wether its just across the stars or on a dusty planet, trigun is more a man has the main role, but the chicks in there are a big part as well!
Once again the girls lead the talking, both have great funny moments as well those cheeky side charachters, and flashy fights!
Both has the same weird animation style, actions is WAY out of order, and DAMN funny as hell breaks loose!
Both are related on their famous videogame franchise, although FF is more close to the ealier saga before number 7, but streetfighter stays true to the fans both are very enjoyable to watch!
Both storyline are in feudal Edo, and historical charachters are mainly involved here with an evil side touch to it, Dagger of kamui is more closer to history with its char, Sam. deeper kyo is more fictional storywise but still has a nice set to it,and they capture a good taste of the japanese culture then!
WARNING, do not watch this if ur underaged or with you parents ,because both are just TERRIFYING, just the way i like it! as for the content, well its all here but really, DON'T watch this as an underage!
Magic here is the secret word, well atleast for the girls here while slayers is soo damn funny with a very good storyline, rayearth is more a serious plotline and summons magic beasts, both serie´s than can be enjoyed if u like this kind of genre from the old days
the will of being the strongest or the best in SOMETHING is always an good ambition wether to be a Martial arts fighter ( HxH) or the best champion the virtual world has ever seen and beyond (Dragondrive)
Both are armored heroes, plot is WAY out or relation to eachother but that does´nt stop the fun from oldskool mecha suits till advanced goth armor designs in 3/d
movies with supernatural as the main theme wether in outer space or just on earth, though x is more related to religion and folklore than locke, u can count on flashy fights!
Both are scary as hell, violent, and considered as cult movies from WAY BACK that seems totally forgotten in anime these days!
Both very well known in the CYBERPUNK genre where the future is both ruled by man and machine, whereas the borderline between human and machine remains it almost forgotten, from oldskool violent masterpiece short story (alita), to a one of a kind animation with 3-d elements masterpiece (ghost in the shell 2)
80´s girl power the japanese way WHATSOEVER! ridicilous fights, lots of ecchi moments and ofc funny funny...... well anyway both have a lady as main charachter(s)
Short stories made and written by wellknown anime directors, the good old school days where people made time to make unrelated stories which either has its own "art" and an interesting story!
Machines used to kill biolological bastards, of to disinfect bugs, both rely on technology that sometimes turns the table in either their favor or opposite, with a darkside story that comes only with one resolve.
Supernatural demons, lots of blood and historical characters involved in something BIG, one more oldskool than theother but both have a very dark story to it
Well-known controversial '80s OVAs from back then. They have demons, devils, naked ladies and a whole bunch of freaky moments for the older audience that likes to see similar movies with those elements.
One more wellknown that the other, for me BOTH oldskool samurai classics about blood, honor , respect and betrayal that not much ppl can or will accept the 1st time seeing this, but are nevertheless intrigue by story and animation.
Supernatural powers/fighting techniques, mostly damn serious dialogue and a very dark story, one a bit more kiddier than the other but get you quite hooked to see the outcome of the story, and both are remembered series some times ago.
Space adventures, wild shootouts, and enemies that make u think: WTH is that thing??? mixed with comedy moments, which differ because both are like 16/17 years apart from each other but still enjoyable!
Giving a good oldskool laugh mixed with funny moments and good magical fights, one is more supernatural and more violent than the other storywise en development from char. is just funny
police forces on the street, futuristic cities and in some cases half cyborg villians run on the loose, Both have same job they´re cut out for and have a man&female main cast with the right TO BEAR ARMS!! phew
Both videogame related anime, one a bit bloodier than the other, but recognisable nevertheless for the fighting game fans, same goes fatal fury and King of fighters! And their letting their fist talk!
ladies as the main character that let NO MAN tell them wat to do, and they show something alright 80´s style.Wether its fight like an chosen warrior(lemnear) or just destroying stuff cuz u want to for a kiddy reason(outlanders) and the best of it is the funny stuff!
plays in a fantasy world where magic is the key to survive, great comedy moments and lots and lots of scorcery with interesting storyline to follow, both have a urge to do things of their own and NOT listen to their teammates, but in the end, they show everything they´ve got! and it got me into it
Both storyline is in feudal japan(mainly in EDO), Swirling swords & awesome fighting techniques were u expect too see bloodshed and ripped clothing, TOPNOTCH animationstyle wich in both is one of a kind! from back in the days!
Before "Girls with Guns" genre, there was this, all ladies futuristic actionpacked classics! Very enjoyable.
