I thought it was just whatever color. Rider's fading was purple in UBW I believe.

Both the one with Rin bitting him and becoming Sakura (probably a dream but it means something) and the one with him in the fire before Illya tells him "if you don't summon yours, you'll die, big brother" ominously.

Yea, the mystery, and the bone-chilling atmosphere created by the lovely Ufotable visuals and Yuki Kajiura's magical score really are the selling point here.

I'm still unfamiliar of how Alters work, even with that shitty F/GO movie.

I'm sure they'll answer how the whole alter thing works and what exactly are these striped, corrupting beings, and overall why this grail war is so fucky in comparison to usual.

I am not sure how to feel. Certainly not below a 5 or above an 8. Maybe things will become clearer upon a second rewatch?

Yeah it was a nice scene, indeed. I wonder if she'll have to "face" her dark/depraved self in order to come "back". It wasn't clear what happens if Assassin doesn't take their heart. So I guess there's a way out.

Let's hope her development will be done well. Idk why but I'm hopeful and positive about that! :D

Hey, what happened to your scores on the Fate series? Is it me or they were lowered a lot? :O

Well, I think it was a good watch for anyone who has already seen UBW. If I were to watch it without having watched UBW I'd be like "WAIT, WHAT ABOUT THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT OF LANCER AND CASTER AND HIS MASTER AND AND AND" and anyway yeah it was a bit rushed. But I think that was the point, because ufotable has already focused on some characters and now wants to focus on the Matous more.

Sakura was cute, ok, but I expected more development and more of these dialogues/monologues you're referring to, which I was sure that existed in the VN. Shirou looks like a better character now (I didn't actually like him so much in UBW). Oh and I liked the scene where Shinji gets humiliated after all the trash talking XD Now I wonder, will Sakura take action against the Matous or will she be...Haruno? Hahahah

I also hope that Angra Mainyuu takes part in this story. I thought things like the "villain" Assassin was him, but...nope, I don't think so. Could he be this "black thing"? Anyway, I think it would be great if he had a connection with Sakura, I mean, if Sakura had a crazy rage after all that's happened to her and he took advantage of her situation. It'd be nice if ufotable shows him in action finally; but all this stuff is probably not gonna happen and it's only me that thinks about it._.

Now it's Loliasviel's turn to fight, lol. What about Gilgamesh? Will he take action in this? I have so many questions in my mind hahahah and my msg is so long and useless, sorry :'( and the other thing that I've been thinking about is; will Saber survive? Is she facing her "darker self"?

Well, I guess I liked it since I'm so hyped and full of questions and hypotheses in my head. The thing is; will I be disappointed in the next movies? Will Sakura not do anything? If she does show rage and stuff, her character development will be great. If not, it'll be a turn off.
