I have mixed feelings about Guilty Crown. If you have read any of my other reviews you'll know that I tend to love everything I watch since I literally spend hours picking out and sorting through potential series to watch. Even if it's just on a whim and I just jump into a series I'll probably enjoy it. I don't really dissect shows and watch them just to criticize them in the end. That's a waste of time and personally I don't have the time for that.
Story: When I first started watching GC (Around when episode 18 was the newest ep, so roughly 4-5 weeks
...
prior to this review) I looked at the reviews and saw a lot of people saying GC has NO story at all. I do not agree. It has a story although most of the episodes revolve around our protagonist Shu and his ballsack waiting to emerge from it's childhood slumber. 8/10
Art: Seeing how this was released in I believe 2011 the artwork is very nice. It reminds me of Sora No Otoshimono, kinda, in the sense that it's vibrant and detailed. Whatever, don't judge me. I'm just trying to say that it has vibrant, fresh artwork, rather then something like Ranma 1/2 from 800 years ago. 10/10
Sound: OP 1 I believe where she's on the big screen singing or whatever is amazing. I didn't bother with the OP 2 or OP3 (can't remember how many there were). I basically listened to the 4-5 seconds of the the beginning of OP 1 then went into the EP. Not saying that the music is bad, as a matter of fact, the music that plays through the series goes VERY well with the scenes that they are portraying. The music isn't your typical JPOP crap that other animes use (at least the ones I watch :P) but it has a "Mozart" kinda feel to it. It's very classy in a sense. 9/10
Character: Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, typical emotionless girl meets wimpy ass teenager who hates his life and harbors a past that he had to erase himself in order to move on with his life. Typical stuff. I personally wanted a little more love triangle but it has it's fair share of crush moments. The characters are nice. However, it's the typical "guy gets power" "guy gets respect because of power "guy uses power to subdue those beneath him while thinking he's doing everyone a favor (which he technically was)* *guy loses power and cries in the arms of his lover* *guy regains his power and his balls drop to the floor and he becomes the 80th coming of Jesus Christ*. 10/10
Enjoyment: Good series. I recommend it. So sad that this and many other anime ended.... Shakugan... Zero No Tsukaima... -_____- blah 10/10
Enjoy :D

This show is beautiful. I am only on episode 6 and I absolutely love this show. I usually sleep early on mon/wed nights due to 6 am classes the next day BUT I had to stay up late last night just so I could watch some more of this show, it's that good.
Originally the artwork really turned me off which is why I never looked into it but seeing how lately I've been really desperate for new shows since I have literally drained by funding of harem/romcoms which I love ever so much I just had to watch this.
I am not dissapointed at all. It's
...
so powerful. I was in tears after the first 2 episodes. There is this sweet innocent girl who has always been alone due to her looks and social awkwardness who suddenly is able to make friends and draw people to her.
I have to keep this review short and seeing how I have only seen the first 5-6 episodes I do not feel I can give a good enough review. I will leave this is a short taste of my final review when I finish the series.
I will update this when I complete season 1.

I originally watched the first few episodes around a year ago and instantly dropped it. This was because I just got into the whole romance/harem/comedy genre of animes and I was looking for something more "romance" heavy and more "harem" based in the sense that all the girls wanted the main characters *you know what* right off the bat.
So judging off that idea MM! was a strict no no and I never looked at it again.
However a few days ago, seeing how there is literally NO good romcom/harems that I haven't seen (at least good by my standards) I was like f*ck it, watching MM!.
I
...
was completely blown away. MM! is an amazing series and usually I am too lazy to write reviews (I've only written a handful of reviews for the select few animes that really touched my these past 1-2 years).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Story: 10/10
In my eyes the story was very nice. You have a masochist protagonist who was shunned his whole school life because of his past tendencies of being a "pervert" or "freak" whenever he would get a M orgasm. He now seeks help from a club who is known for helping those in need. On top of that you find out about the problems of his friends and club members that all add on to the hilarity and cuteness of the series. It really meshes together very nicely. Especially the touching moments who Tarou defends the girls and brings out his manly side.
Art 10/10: The colors are very vibrant and nice. I tend to like the same kinds of artwork that are similar to the ones found in MM! (such as Sora No Otoshimono or Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari). They might not have the same art STYLE but the vibrant colors and the depth of the artwork is what I am talking about. The visuals are very pleasing. I recommend watching them in the highest quality you can find since it makes every anime in my opinion a lot better and enjoyable.
Sound 10/10: The OP isn't my favourite BUT that does not mean it is not enjoyable. It wasn't as catchy as Isekai No Seikishi's OP (which is a masterpiece in my eyes) or even Mirai Nikki's first OP BUTTTTTT it is very VERY nice. If I was trapped in a room and had to watch MM! all over again but I could not skip the OP I would not mind one bit. It's very cute and catchy. It's just not the heart wrenching style that I tend to like.
Characters 10/10: The characters were great. They all brought something to the table. M male protagonist, his S counterpart female protagonist, androphobic club member that originally hated him for being a pervert but ended up falling in love with him, cross dressing best friend, jealous lesbian childhood friend of one of the girls who likes him, and the loli genius. Very good cast, and the voices were great too.
Enjoyment 10/10: very funny romCom and I highly recommend it to anyone who dropped it and those who are thinking of watching it.
It's really worth another look. I really enjoyed it these past few days. I was really happy to see that there are MM! specials but I was disheartened to find out that they are only 1 min long :(((( I need something more substantial
Oh well. It was a great series. Now I'm sad that I have to rummage through MAL AGAIN FOR ANOTHER SERIES TO WATCH. I honestly hate doing this every time. I finish a good series and then I have to find ANOTHER series to match it/beat it -____- so sad
I just want to say that this is a beautiful series. The love that Midori has for Seiji is amazing. She truly loves him with all her heart. My only 2 problems with the series is that 1) He never said "I love you" to Midori or even showed any signs of falling in love with her. Yeah technically he got depressed towards the end and showed some signs of questioning why he could easily say I love you to other girls but not Midori but still I wanted to see breaks where he would stop and look at her and say "Wow. She really
...
loves me. She's really cute. I could really fall for her if she wasn't my right hand".
Also 2) I didn't like how when Midori returned to her body Seiji acted as if her love for him dissapeared. She has loved him for years before she became his right hand. Just go visit her and tell her how you feel. She LOVES YOU more then anything. Guaranteed success my friend.
However when I write this I realized that he was torn and confused about his true feelings for her, but as always he finally came to realize that he truly fell in love with Midori.
Story: 8/10. Story is pretty and sweet. These 2 buddies get into all sorts of shenanigans from school -> gang fights. It's a little stale but Midori's love and affection for him keep things cute and lively.
Art: 7/10. The art is dated seeing how it's 2012. But still, Midori is cute, that's about it though.
Sound: 8/10. Didn't really listen to the OP and ED BUT from the few seconds before I skipped them they seemed very powerful and cute.
The voices are very nice though. Especially the delinquent voices (Sister/Seiji/other delinquents) When they say that Oora (idk how to spell it, it sounds very genuine and funny to me lol)
Enjoymeny: 10/10. It's a very cute story about how a shy giirl's soul leaves her body to spend time with her crush and eventually show him just how sincere/genuine/cute she really is, and how she is the ideal girl that he has been searching for his whole life.
It's a great series. Please check it out :)
I just want to say that I am really happy to see that this will be getting 26 episodes. It is really vibrant and cute.
The story revolves around our main protagonist who has to take care of his sister's 3 kids (although 2 of them are not blood related, they came from the sister's husbands 2 previous marriages, so technically none of the girls are related to each other).
I started reading this manga a few weeks ago and I was SO happy to see that this season would have the anime version of it along with other great series (Zero no tsukaima, Youko x Boku
...
SSS, Highschool DxD and I think there was one more).
Story: 10/10. It's a cute story where the uncle enjoys his daily life with the 3 kids and they all become a happy family. I don't want to spoil anything so I won't say why it's a Harem genre (but you can probably tell already).
Art: 10/10. Seeing how this is a 2012 anime the art has to be good, and it really is. The details they put into the characters are really something. For instance, when yuuta walks into the room of one of the girls changing the red blush on her face/body is really noticeable. That's one thing that really stood out to me.
Sound: 10/10. I don't recall the OP but I listened to the Ending and it's really cute and sweet. I tend not to watch OP/ED since the show is already over or you just want to heart of the show, not the OP lol. There's only certain OP/ED I will watch (for instance Fairy Tails Ending where Gray is walking a path and reminiscing about the past, the music and animation is really nice so I actually watched it every time for that season. Also the OP of Mirai Nikki is AMAZING, the animation too).
Character: 10/10. Your typical cute family harem comedy. It's very nice and the 3 girls are very charming and have great personalities. Yuuta starts off as a typical "why the f*ck do I have to watch these 3 kids when I just want to be a normal college kid" (BUT IT'S A VERY MILD CASE).
He's not a douche about it. He cares for the girls and I don't want to spoil anything but if you've read the manga you know that he goes out of his way a lot to make sure that the girls are all happy and comfortable.
Enjoyment: 10/10. If you enjoy cute/family comedy harems then this is a great show. It's not a hardcore incestual/lolicon harem show at all. It's just a cute little comedy that brings people together :)
Overall: 10/10
Great show. Great everything. I look forward to the next 25 episodes.
I probably won't have to update this in the future since I've already read a bit of the manga so I know what happens sorta. Please enjoy the show if you do watch it :)
Thanks for reading
I'm giving this a 9 in Story because it's random BUT I would like to give it a 10. In the sense of "Story" meaning having a plot and developing in depth I would give it a 10 (but it my mind I'd give it an 11+).
To start, I've only watched FSN and not Tsukihime so I feel like I would enjoy it a lot more if I knew about the characters from Tsukuhime seeing how seeing the characters from FSN really send chills down my spine (in a good way).
After seeing Archer dancing in the OP I knew this show deserves a 10.
This isn't
...
a review per se, more of a mini review(?).
Everything about this show is great, the only minor MINOR problem would be the randomness (which is the one 9 rating).
It's great to see Saber again :)
EDIT: I take this back. Seeing how I wrote this literally 5 min into the show I was completely wrong.
The story is a 10 ONLY if you have seen the shows beforehand. If you have not seen them beforehand you will find the humor strange and random.
HOWEVER if you know the characters and the original story you will LOVE this show.
I'm changing this to a 10.
EDIT2: CASTER IS SO F*CKING CUTE
At the beginning I was iffy about the manga becoming an anime since there were only around 3-4 chapters out but boy was I wrong.
This series is really good and really improves from episode 1 (good) -> episode 12(amazing).
Story: The story is about a bunch of students who have trouble making friends and so 2 of them make a club to make friends and slowly more and more of the cast join over time. 10/10
The funny part is that they don't see each other as "friends" but "fellow club members" even though it is clear that they have become friends through certain activities (going to
...
festivals, karaoke, pool, etc).
Episode 11 though, heartbreaker
I highly suggest googling Ageha and watching the series she's from. It would make this series a lot better (at least it did for me. I get goosebumps everytime I see her in the OP)
Story: Like many people have said, it doesnt have a "story" per se (at least not yet since theres only 2 episodes). However if you are into the kind of shows that have a lot of ecchi action fights and girls who all adore 1 guy then this show is perfect for you.
Personally I am more into the harem aspect of the show, the action is just a bonus for me.
Art:
...
Looks very nice. Very bright, and vibrant.
Sound: The OP is really good. I tend to skip OP but due to the fact that Ageha is in it, and that each girl is shown with their trademark abilities/weapons it just draws me in even more. Can't seem to remember the Ending though since I tend to just go to the next episode unless it's the ending of Fairy Tail (The one where Gray is walking alone, that song fits the animation so well)
Character: The characters are the usual bunch. Super Strong leader/object of guys affection but doesnt feel the same way about him, foreign german girl who is not used to the customs of Japan, spunky/cute/optimistic one, Psychotic/obsessed/loves the main guy like no other, shy/flustered/good cook chick.
This actually reminds me A LOT of Infinite Stratos now that I think about it.
Enjoyment: Very enjoyable. I understand how people can either LOVE IT or hate it but I for one am not one of those nitpicky people that dissect shows and analyze every aspect of it.
Give me a good story, with good art, cute girls and some romance. Thats all I ask for.
I really enjoyed this show seeing how I finished the last episode mere minutes ago and felt the "emptiness" inside of me. I usually only feel this emptiness when I finish a series and still possess the craving for more.
Story -The story is pretty basic. Typical slice of life comedy of a girl with a secret being found out by a guy who then becomes her object of affection.
Art - The art is pretty good. It has a mild, yet pleasing look. Not too vibrant, not too dull. I don't know how to explain it. The characters are pretty well drawn and enjoyable.
Sound - The
...
OP is decent. It's not my favorite but it contains those "pick up the pace towards the end" kind of feelings. It starts off slow and mellow but after it repeats itself the pace really picks up. Gives viewers a good adrenaline rush. Ending is pretty mellow as well but I usually skip it and go to the next episode.
Characters - The main characters are the typical bunch. Rich Girl with a butler who falls in love with the guy who finds out her butlers secret, Butler that hides her true gender and falls in love with the same guy, various girls who have a crush on the butler but end up falling for the main guy (at least 1 does, typical harem business so I don't feel like it's a spoiler), and a sister who loves her brother and doesn't want another girl to take him away.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series and am hoping for a season 2, the ending sort of hints towards one since he mentions "beginning of our relationship" or whatever.
I was really hoping that there would be more mutual feelings thrown in towards the end but I'm glad that Konoe was finally able to express her true feelings to him.
^^^ not really a spoiler since we know thats what happens in rom coms...
Just wanted to give my little short review.
I didn't really think I'd enjoy this as much as I did. I guess it's because it really picked up after Emiya actually started doing something useful towards the end.
I don't want to spoil anything but if you looked at the Fate/Stay wiki you'd know more about the relationship between archer and emiya that they didn't go into during the anime that explains why they both use projection.
I really wish Emiya used the Unlimited Blade Works (or whatever it's called) before the anime ended. I guess it was supposed to be shown later on in the manga/VN?
...
The ending really got to me though. I hate when it ends like that (I didn't say what happened because I didn't want to spoil it. I sort of left a taste of it so watchers are more anxious to find out)
Enjoy
