I've read both the manga and the visual novel and I can say for sure that Umineko is probably one of the greatest works of fiction that have ever been written, for me this is the best visual novel/manga that has ever been written I don't think any show/series will top this for me.

I recommend reading the visual novel if you have a lot of time, but if you don't want to go into the hassle just read the manga because the manga adaptation is really good (minus insanely good soundtrack).

One of my favourite series ever if Umineko never existed this would be my top 1 I've watched and read the anime and light novel and I can say for certain that Monogatari Second Season is peak.

What can I say about this? this is literally my first anime something that got me hooked up I've watched the anime, read the manga, read the visual novel, and watched drama cd there is no way I am putting this below my top 3.
