Both share the chibi-adventure look with a nice touch of mystery sourrounding the world that makes you wonder "what has exactly happened?" A nice attention-grabbing show from the get-go that will get you hooked!

Both series have great fantasy-like fights and abilities. They look cool and flashy and the enemies are based on some kind of mutations with humans. Oh, and both are originally a card game if that matters.

Relaxing and fluffy-feeling stories that can sometimes be sad but are mostly the kind that make you smile and happy inside. Really atmospheric.

Great scenery and relaxing mood. Both series are short ones but still leave a lasting impact which is a hard thing to pull off for a short series.

If you are interested in rural towns and their economies, these two shows are right up your alley. They both give us a good time while creating a interesting human relation based stories about almost-dead rural towns. They both center around young female as the main cast as they try to revive the town and have this oddly satisfying slice-of-life feel to them.

...then you might like Pokemon Movie 04: Celebi Toki wo Koeta Deai add

Besides the very similar plot, these movies are a great watch to anyone who enjoys fantasy mixed with a bit of action. The greenery and depiction of forest wild-life are really fantastic and either one of these will have you grip harder to the nearest object as the plot thickens and things start going down.

Hilarious facial expressions and comedic daily life situations. While Minami-ke is more mature at points and Kyou no 5 no 2 is a bit more childish, both feature the same kind of humor. Minami-ke's events usually center around the Minami household while Kyou no 5 no 2's events happen mostly at school but each show has events happening in daily situations as mentioned earlier.

Moestyled all-girl cast playing some game. Both series have this "op and mysterious" main character. Both are really cute and although not giving a real representation of the game, both are a fun show to watch.

both have this soothing and unique feeling and athmosphere to them. 1v1 games. Character development and character's feelings are the main focus

Comedic story with loli characters. Both are are great readthroughs if you enjoy slice-of-life and comedy genre. While Yuzumori-san is a Shoujo-Ai, New Game also has yuri undertones! Yuzumori-san is a more romantic version of New Game!

...then you might like Futsuu no Joshikousei ga [Locodol] Yattemita. add

Similar atmosphere. Relaxed and and cute show with lots of characters interactions. Both are in my opinion "healing" anime and make you feel relaxed more or less. And most importantly, both have great characters.

...then you might like Sousei no Onmyouji add

Quirky comedies with supernatural elements. In both the MC/MC pair has great powers. Really similar atmosphere. Both are funny

If you liked Shokugeki no Souma add

...then you might like One Punch Man add

Similar MC. Both of the MC's are superior to other characters. The animation is smooth an visuals are gorgeus. Both also have a catchy opening song and great soundtracks.

If you liked Hunter x Hunter (2011) add

...then you might like One Punch Man add

Both have equally crazy fights and whacky characters. OPM opening also parodies HxH's main character, Gon (the punch where he holds his left hand over his right before punching). Both have probably the most brilliant soundtracks ever also. You really need to experience these two. And of course, both are by Madhouse Studio.

-Moe aspect -similar characters -relaxing and cute to watch Both shows have something to do with bread (in GochiUsa Kokoa's family runs a bread shop)

MC is funny but when it matters, he will become a badass. Both have though past which coearly affects their lives. The main heroine is also auite attractive and she has pure goals.

Rural life, character relationships over the story, really soothing/relaxing. Both shows share the same concept, MC moving to rural area from a city and adapting to the life there.

Both contain awesome fighting moments, have a fantasy-like setting and a great MC. Overlord uses Magic/skills while HxH uses life-energy/superpowers. Both are adventurous

Sarcastic humor, harem, male protagonist not interested in girls (or pretend to not be). Both of these are giving you a perspective on a specific culture; in Saekano the otaku culture and in Shomin sample the commoners culture. Both shows share same kind of athmosphere
